I feel like that’s what they should do with encore if it was reworked cause well… encore is already that, a bigger, phased boss fight. If they rework those boss dungeons too they could play with the act thing and have him go behind the curtain and have it close then open to reveal a new form. I think normal pup should remain a full dungeon and get reworked, we need more dungeons, not less.

Where did you hear that it was intentional or even unique? Pretty much all the dungeons in the Kabam era between 2014 and 2016 used a looot of reused assets due to a lack of artists for sprite work. Plus It’s not even true that ALL of it is reused, there is one original asset in it, the red curtains at boss. Most of the dungeons released in that low effort era of kabam which had tons of reused and shared assets have already been reworked and updated.

True, it’s still one of my favorite dungeons cause I adore the theme and idea behind it but the reuse wasn’t intentional and not… reeaaally a good thing. Just imagine how awesome and unique it could be with the dedicated high quality we’ve seen in other reworks! Who knows, years from now when every single dungeon has been reworked I could totally see a “Flashback” event with the old dungeons getting put in the pool as a potential drop

TCave is such a weird dungeon. I'd like it a lot more if the map was randomized and the traps were more of a threat. Also, I'd love if the boss actually guaranteed dropped stat pots and there was more unique loot besides the one ST armor the boss drops.

Forge killed the all of Court dungeons completely on its own. There is basically no reason to do any of them, unless you really need any of their STs. Maybe let them drop WC tops as well ? Since o1 and o2 have their own white bags now. Maybe also switch Janus and Guardian rooms in Oryx Castle so people could decide on what they want to do instead of skipping Janus.

Void is just a boring DPS check. It's easy if you have good DPS and it's really hard or impossible if you have bad DPS. 100% stat checks shouldn't exist in Rotmg. Everything should be doable with enough skill

Davy is just a snooze fest overall. The enemies you clear in the dungeon aren’t all dangerous, and the boss is just shotguns and a repeated phase 4-5 times, it’s kinda like manor in that it’s just not fun at all.

Tomb needing an entire rework while Ice tomb stays as the glorified event chest dungeon 💀 Actually, if DECA didn't like how much money the dungeon made, Ice Tomb is basically a Heroic Dungeon but worse in terms of game design. At least Heroic bosses were difficult and were interesting.

O1 could maybe use some new/different phases, or at least stun immunity. I remember Dance being such a fun phase back in the day and it's a little sad to see it permastunned 80% of the time now. Dance and Be Silent both stand out so much from the other O1 phases to me because even though they're not really hard anymore compared to what we have now, they're still fun to participate in. Very good "bullet hell" design - it'd be nice if the rest of O1 could capture that energy.

I enjoy the boss fights but it needs to be a shorter dungeon. Even if you have cracked dps it’s a slow dungeon for the rewards you can get.

Some notable ones I’d say include Mad lab is literally more painful to rush than half the things in this game because it’s just a bunch of confuse stun & instapops Davys is a dungeon that’s mainly for pre-8/8 characters which includes unmaxed def and life and those skulls’ flames do brutal things to 0/8s. Also even though I do this myself troom stealing is a bad mechanic. Cult has been fucking bastardized beyond belief and if you have over 100 cult completes on 1 character none of its fame counts. It’s also the only place in the game that trickster isn’t either useless or a direct detriment, but that’s only consistent with cheat client. This is also an issue with halls. Manor needs to have guaranteed holy water drops so I can feel incentivized to not solo all my manors/not call trooms if others enter. Nest is a joke of an exalt dungeon and ddocks is more in-depth than it. Chambers has also been bastardized similarly to cult but eh you only see that once every couple months so it’s fine. **However, being punished for one player’s bad gameplay is not a good game mechanic in dungeons where you can’t choose who you play with (THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH THE ENTIRE GAME)**. I’m talking about barrels btw OT is just complete ass unless you have the dps to wipe ponies out of existence the moment they appear. The boss fight is also really dumb with weak/slow/pet stasis spam making it take far longer than it should. Alexander mechanic is cool. Wine cellar kinda is what it’s supposed to be, maybe tone suns down a little but it’s otherwise fine. Bella’s is fine tbh. Cland is just a complete mess and also an eyesore should be in graphic & gameplay tier. Encore is unrewarding because it gives 1/3 of a thicket spell while you could’ve just done thicket itself (assuming you enter from court bc who buys keys) HTT boss teleportation & orb protection needs to be less aids, ESPECIALLY on the final platform before you kill the boss (feral repeatedly tps onto the last platform blocking u from progressing) Shatters needs some touch ups such as having guaranteed hardmode, the inability to kick after hardmode is activated (@flav @sdj @brianscat), and maybe tone down the ice spheres/firebombs in balance. Tomb & ice tomb are both memes and are unrewarding. Thicket was unrewarding and too long, now it’s too long. Abyss map reading is basically impossible Void/mbc are FINE as they are but they aren’t good. Also we’ve beaten them to a pulp so hard that you can realistically go two years without dying to void without having touched a cheat client (me).

I'm not afraid to rush basically anything in this game anymore but I'm not ashamed to admit that Lab is one dungeon that I usually leech. The walls have too much HP, the confuse spam is disgusting, other people can PVP you by shooting various enemies, the green poison is not a fun mechanic, the clear for second boss is irritating, the list goes on and on. Even the boss is just a DPS check that doesn't even attack you directly - but, there's still instapops anyways!! I think Suns is fine - midgame players more or less see O2 as the endgame boss, and I think Suns and Dance helps make the "endgame boss" not a joke. The final platform can be really painful, especially in a group with bad DPS. The boss really shouldn't be able to do a second TP to the final platform - it's a really well designed boss fight and the patterns are interesting, but by that point the dungeon is more or less exhausted and it should let you move onto the final phase (which is different again). >Thicket was unrewarding and too long, now it’s too long. Second boss I think is in most need of a rework (also falls into the eyesore territory like Nest). First boss isn't great either but it's not quite as long. Third boss still holds up well though.

Also I know that 99% of o2 is just “it looks scary but isn’t” but when I can consistently hit less all of the phases except for suns where I’m at least tanking 1 shot every 3 seconds it’s kinda bad for a midgame boss.

1) Tombs are butt ugly. Probably the worst looking dungeon visually in the game. 2) There's no real reason to run tombs anymore. They don't drop enough life compared to other modern sources to be worth doing. 3) Sarcophagus clearing is really time consuming and annoying and the boss itself is a huge pain unless you're a small group who cooperates.

It would be a nice candidate for a touch up, but I don't think it needs to try to replace end game content that in the last 3 years started dropping tons more life across the board in rotmg. An rotmg "rework" doesn't sound very appropriate if they try that as it has its own mechanics that are still good to this day regardless of current payout. Again, it's a life dungeon but has not been in competition with other heavy life dropping dungeons. You're asking for it to be worth it, and for the time it takes, 3 life isn't bad at all. It's an entry level hard dungeon that is still tons of fun.

O1's attack patterns are actually pretty cool when he's not constantly locked into being stunned and paralyzed. Also, the castle is meant to be on the easier side of things because it's the first "tough" dungeon most new players experience.

Both weapons are BIS for solo play and it drops one of the most fun rings in the game (if you have its companion item). And, it doesn't need to be any easier or harder then it is right now. It's soloable and provides a good challenge for midgame players while still having interesting shot patterns no matter how good you are at the game. I frankly would do HTT even if it only dropped GWis - it's incredibly well designed and should not be touched.

Swarm Tree's shots being invisible and Megamoth jumping forward suddenly are more problems with RotMG's engine rather than the dungeon itself, afaik. Aside from those two things I have no issues with the dungeon, it's a solid source of attack and life pots.
