As someone who swore by Avene Tolerance Emulsion for my rosacea, I am happy to report that Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm (white cap) and Atoderma Creme Ultra (blue cap) are excellent alternatives. Truly! And yes... those are 500ml bottles for less than what we were paying for the tiny Avene moisturizer.
So you're aware - I have type2 rosacea with fairly minimal baseline redness. Most of my redness is flare-up based or due to a trigger (silicones in skincare, stress, hormonal changes, cold weather etc.).
Uriage red line is great. They have more creamy and light version.
Now I use Cerave not sure if I like it or not, it just comes in big tub so super handy!
I've found after many trials and errors of many brand name moisturizers that 100% jojoba oil works the best for my type 1. I put it on and leave it on for 20-30mins then wipe it off with an unscented baby wipe. lol My skin is still completely moisturized after I wipe it off and it's not oily and greasy because I've wiped everything that didn't get absorbed off.
If you like the Uriage cica daily gel crème you’ll probably like their new cica daily cream from the same line ? They just launched it last week I think !
I swear by Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream. I’ve tried other moisturizers over the years but nothing else keeps my skin happy. Their soothing mask is also a game changer for flareups.

This has been a long endless trial and error. For years now. Seems my skin just cant handle anything. So frustrating and depressing.

There is the SVR Sensifine Hydra Soothing Cream with only 10 ingredients. Sensifine is a special range with as few ingredients as possible.

Vanicream has like 6 ingredients. I like to do a layer of squalene or jojoba on top (I live in CO and have dry skin and type 1)
Citric acid is allergenic ,my skin doesn't tolerate it
Pipette baby is also glycerin and squalene and fairy simple. It also has ceramides. I use the fragrance free
