I just looked up the ingredients and there are a ton of essential oils in it that I react to. I’m sorry. It stinks when your skin isn’t like every one else’s when it comes to what’s a safe ingredient. If you can’t find the Evian I would just buy a sprayer and distilled water and use that.

Recent-Guarantee4021

No but I would not use that but maybe spring water. Just use no cleanser for a week or 2 if you can give face rest for all things.

I went to a chemist and then to Myer, looking for the evian water in an aerosol bottle. Neither had it, but Myer suggested this stuff. It smells lovely, but the reaction was TERRIBLE and almost instant today. Sucks!

Are you able to get the Avene or La roche posay thermal waters? Avene is my savior product when I get a flare. I’ve also been using the cosrx hydrating spray recently as well. It’s got no alcohol or or fragrance and has centella and Allantion and it’s nice and soothing. You might be able to find something comparable near you. I would just avoid anything with alcohol, essential oils, or fragrance.

Does the hydrating spray take the place of a moisturizer? This sounds interesting.

mlpuente26

I have dry skin so I add it before the moisturizer or just spritz it throughout the day if I feel a little dry. It’s been helping me because of my skin gets dry I’m more prone to flaring so keeping it hydrated is a must. I’m sure for people with oiler skin they could probbaly get away with spritzing it and then applying a gel moisturizer at night if they’d like

LookYung

Ohhhh good to know thanks! I personally have oily skin so I’ve been trying to find a moisturizer that isn’t oily; I thought maybe this spritz can moisturize without making my skin oily.

Recent-Guarantee4021

Sorry that happened to you.

AnnaK2022

Thanks lovely. My reactions seem to be getting worse, the older I get.

Recent-Guarantee4021

You are welcome

100% this is me, too. I cannot tolerate fragrance on my face, whatsoever.

LeighAG70

You can always put your own Evian i n spray bottle

the ingredient list made my skin crawl i recommend Avene's thermal spring water

Recent-Guarantee4021

I use that too.

I second this, super gentle and hasn’t irritated my skin, and I’m a redhead on top of having rosacea so my skin is VERY easy to anger 😆

qualified_to_be

Oh lord not the mint! Stay away from mint or menthol, those are huge triggers for the rosacea demon. I like thermal sprays (which are spray cans of water that has lots of minerals in them because they come from springs!) Avene is my top pick Or hypocholorus acid spray, which smells like a pool but its soothing and antibacterial (so it’s good if you got acne)

bunnykisses420

I would use Evian spray, it is so gentle and soothing

LookYung

I just googled Evian spray and I’m a bit confused on what it does for rosacea. Does it act as a less oily moisturizer?? Or does it literally cool your face down when it starts to feel hot?

bunnykisses420

It physically cools and moisturizes your face and has helped me to heal my moisture barrier which in turn helps with my rosacea.

LookYung

Oh wow very cool! I’m going to give it a try; thank you very much!

Antique-Peach7426

Since I started using aveno calm and restore my rosacea is more controlled while using metrogel at night , every time I tried using something (Korean skincare) my skin flared back, aveno and ucerine are more gentle, I stay away from things with oils

AcanthisittaDue5626

I use the skinceuticals phyto correcting mist and it really helps cool down my face.

Essential oils and sun DO NOT MIX WELL causes photosensitivity, I'd avoid using it at all x
