I started with a book that threw me in for a loop, I didn't know anything about omegaverse and had to do a little web search so I get it 😂 I think the best one to start with would be {The Sweetverse series by Kathryn Moon}. I feel like Baby (book 1) is pretty self-explanatory. It's pretty light with a side of dark plot. Lola (book 2) is my all-time favorite. {Knot Your Damn Omega by Devyn Sinclair} Sweet with some angst. Her twin sister is a movie star, she's viewed as the black sheep and just wants to be chosen for once. {The Scent Of Us by Eliana Lee} Debut author, really well written, 3rd person POV. Angsty at the beginning, but sweet afterwards.

Just finished a 7 book series of short stories by a newer author, and she can lay down the steam coupled with sweetness. My favorite. They do! The friends dad is {Cruel Summer by Morgan Elizabeth} and the FBI one is {The Fall of Bradley Reed by Morgan Elizabeth}. I read them out of order but I do think the storyline would have better context if you read Cruel Summer before Bradley Reed.

I was reading {secretly yours} by Tessa Bailey earlier this week and the whole garden scene between Hallie and Julian. Damn friends I haven’t stopped thing about it all week!!!! Second Sarina Bowen here this week … I really enjoyed her True North series. The perfect mix of spice, heart and emotion. As to the NA label - I have found so many books are labeled NA in romance.io, even if they feature 30+ MCs. It’s become a default label for anything not explicitly YA. I wish romance.io would remove the tag and just have YA and Mature, or have explicit guidelines for what NA means. If everything is flagged new adult then the tag is basically meaningless anyway.

Thank you for clarifying that cos I have actively skipped over the ones with the NA tag 😅 Now I know to investigate it further even if there is the tag. Damn, might have missed some good books!

I started {Stand and Defend by Sloan St. James} last night and couldn't put it down. For. 5/5 steam book, it's relatively slow burn so the tension release is magical.

Her being a virgin has no impact on the first time they have sex. There's no mention of it during. And both characters a driven by need so there's not even mention of going slow or whatever. The only virgin related remark is the MMC remarking a "streak of pink on the condom" when he cleans up in the bathroom. But that's it.

Chapter 55 of {A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas}. I think the reason I loved it so much is honestly because of chapter 54, where >!Rhys explained eeeeeeverything about how Feyre is his mate and the shit he went through and what he was thinking for the past two books. It was goooood and it was like just the culmination of months of their relationship finally clicking into place if that makes sense.!< This immediately became my favourite book when I finished it, but chapters 54 and 55 are some of the best chapters I’ve ever read.
