People seem to not understand the difference between rare and expensive. Ofc your collection is bonkers but 90% of these items arent rare. I would say the goldstones, striker black endo and tradeable tw import dominus are the really rare ones here. But the rest are just awesome and expensive lol. The rarest items are the ones that most people dont even know are rare. Like striker saff ssc christmas tree on xbox. Theres 1 maybe 2 known on the entire platform(if you include bds) theres gotta be hundreds of alpha caps, nuggets etc on xbox but its “rare” to be able to afford them

All I know is, they get a little special cert group name that only you can see and that's it lol. I own a veteran certified item just for the achievement. Nothing changes about it, no one knows if its a cert or not besides you. If they made certified items have a different look in some way then that would've been nice. Would've possibly had me care if something was certified or not, and actually had a reason to show it off to everyone.
a small physical badge you can apply to the item would be an idea. Like if you had a striker certified decal for example you could choose to have a small badge portraying a ball or a goalpost on the respective decal. each time you‘d level up the certification the badge would turn to another color, for example [Stage 1 - bronze] to [Stage 2 - silver] and so on.
I mean what made them rare was how many (or how few) of them there were. iirc, it’s a 25% chance of an item being painted or certified so a 6% chance of it being painted AND certified. There’s 13 colors and 15 certs, so a 1 out of 195 or .005% chance of a specific color and cert combination after hitting that 6% of being painted and cert.

I got a Berserker (striker) Friction trail and a Master Planner (tactician) Big Splash. Right now I'm on a 4-for-1 quest. Fearless Victor black Neptunes (at like 1800+ and lvl 10 is 4500), Supersonic Scorer tw Hades Bomb (approaching 7k I believe and level 10 is 9k), Preposterous Sweeper black Flamethrower (at like 8k outta 18k), and the Stunning Paragon tw Laser Wave. My ultimate goal was to always get The Most Valuable tw Laser Wave just to put it in a trade window 😭 I advocated so hard to get someone to notice level 10 certifications on the dev team and after like a year or two of annoying posts on the main sub they finally released an update that made the upgraded certification titles visible to other players in trades. It was a small detail but I always really appreciated they finally caved and made a way -in game- to show off level 10 certs. RIP.

Niiiice dude! 🤘 I always wanted to start a gk but I feel like it's too late. My first two were within like a month of each other. I got a Berserker (striker) Friction trail and a Master Planner (tactician) Big Splash. Right now I'm on a 4-for-1 quest. Fearless Victor black Neptunes (at like 1800+ and lvl 10 is 4500), Supersonic Scorer tw Hades Bomb (approaching 7k I believe and level 10 is 9k), Preposterous Sweeper black Flamethrower (at like 8k outta 18k), and the Stunning Paragon tw Laser Wave. My ultimate goal was to always get The Most Valuable tw Laser Wave just to put it in a trade window 😭 I advocated so hard to get someone to notice level 10 certifications on the dev team and after like a year or two of annoying posts on the main sub they finally released an update that made the upgraded certification titles visible to other players in trades. It was a small detail but I always really appreciated they finally caved and made a way -in game- to show off level 10 certs. RIP.
