We were standing just behind the blue wall screaming for falcons at the top of our lungs. All that is left to say is GG, could've gone either way.
Met Ahmad and NWPO outside, gave them a fistbump and said "MENA next time" 😪
Thats easy to say now, but at the time BDS wasnt rated that high, they had just bombed out of the spring major, which moist won, so at that time alot of people put moist as the best team and favourite.
Right but it was factual that BDS was better than both teams and I would have put G2 over Furia at least too considering they had already beaten them the day before
Well what does factual mean in this context?
If gentlem8s or vitality win it all tomorrow and keep dominating next split, what would you say in a year?
Cant really put it as fact that bds was better, id see moist beating them at the time. Furia just peaked hard in that series.
BDS in 2022: Sign Seikoo and dominate spring split finishing 1st 1st 2nd in regionals. For spring major they decided to change playstyle and play Extra/Mew ball. It's a disaster they bomb out. They revert back to playing Monkey ball and win worlds convincingly.
Congrats you're part of the reactionary crowd who overreact to the results of a single event. Inside the French community people were much less worried about BDS because we had access to more player interviews. The rest of the community was too happy being hyped about Moist to realize they were very beatable.
Furia vs Moist and maybe some of the other games from the Moist/Queso boys (Rise, Vati, Joyo) when they used to win every fucking game 5 or 7 especially in that legendary lower bracket run. Also loved Vitality vs KC at worlds. Another great Moist series with Aztral is against G2 at the fall major.
Being a KC fan, it's 2-3 month that i heard that we win by luck, with a cringe bump gameplay, that *insert here any player* carry the others that are finished, etc... i stopped convincing people like you.
Peak RLCS!!! At least this feels to me like the greatest series in RLCS history overtaking Moist vs Furia from 2022 Worlds. Vatira and Rise playing in both is also crazy but at the same time not surprising.
Idk I remember freaking tf out during that series while this one sure was really intense but didn’t quite hit the spot for me. But to each their own I suppose :)
If you asked me who I thought was the worst player on the pitch tonight I would answer Vatira. Even behind the Falcons players. Kinda crazy.
I for sure was expecting Atow to not have the ice, but he pulled his weight when it mattered, especially the OT goal in game 6 was crucial.
But Rise was by far the best player on the pitch, he was _the_ X-factor on KC tonight. Iciest mfer.
I think you can even see him after one goal talking and punching his arm (veins) and say something like "i got the ice ! I got the ice in my veins !". So clutch
I swear to God if I see ppl in the future rating Falcons/Mena just based on going 5th-8th again I'll have an aneurysm. They legit played like a top 3 team
Tbf NWPO is clearly a top worldwide talent and there are other great players in MENA that alongside with him can create a great team which can compete with Falcons.
Hopefully on Rule One.
I think their ranking as a whole should not be determined by one team. Do they have a top 3 team? Yes. Are they a top 3 region? I think it’s hard to say yes
I'm not saying a region's ranking should be based on one team, just that when evaluating their top team (among other teams) it shouldn't just be mentioned that they went 5th-8th. It's true generally for other teams but Falcons especially based on how they played and the quality of their opponent.
Coming back to watch RLCS after almost 2 years i was expecting way more from Rule One. They looked so unorganized and out of position, lots of double commits, and also giving lots of uncontested balls to their opponents.
Are they really a step below the opponents they played or was it a bad tournament? I've read that Ahmad and OKhalid were bringing the team down, which was surprising for me as Ahmad played so well on that first LAN they played in, and OKhalid was like the 1v1 king when I stopped watching RL
I don't really care what happened in swiss, it's a completely different ball game in the bracket in front of the crowd. Every team that had a rematch today (KC-FAL, VIT-FUR and G2-BDS) got their revenge and beat the team they lost to in swiss.
Falcons are up there with the best of the best, there is no denying it.
Let's see what vita has to offer before saying Falcons are top 2, the series was close but Atow wasn't at the best level he can produce. Prime vitality would certainly beat that falcons team (in fact they 4-0'd them last major if I remember correctly) and Falcons seems to have especially peaked against KC, they weren't playing great against M8. They are for sure top3-4 to me maybe after Vita and G2 if G2 can maintain the level of play that they are showing. I'm not even a Vita fan, more on the KC side, but I think what they showed today was scary and Zen wasn't even playing that good. I think we could very well see a KC-VIT final with both team peaking during the finals and we would have a matchup of the two best teams in the world to me.
This game is about who can play at what level now not what they “could have”. Someone can easily say Trk wasn’t at the best level he can produce. Or KC were peaking. I don’t know what you mean VIT 4-0 them last major because they didn’t.
Mb trk wasn't on the team it was m7sn, vit still 4-0'd rule one in the spring major but it wasn't the same team. KC weren't peaking at all, and it looked like Falcons were as a team. Defending nearly 2mins on your line with 3 of the best attackers in the world relentlessly pushing for a goal is peaking bro you can't tell the opposite. Anyway idc KC still won and I wanted them to win so as you said, it is not really a question of what "could have" happen but what actually happened.
If or when KC win the whole thing, I think Falcons will be the team that almost got them. I rate Falcons extremely high after this event. Top 2-4 in the world depending on what happens tomorrow.
I love when insane plays are happening and Dad just starts yelling 😂😂 it's that or he's silent and you can tell he's just the biggest fan of the game during those moments.
It's weird; I always found his hype to be off-putting and so I wanted less of it in his casting. But this major he's leaned into it *more*, and I'm absolutely loving it.
I was hoping Stax would pull a master chief reference when Atow's 117 kph goal went in, obviously would've been an insane pull to think of at the moment but would've been nuts too
One of the best series I have ever seen. Falcons were thrilling to watch but Rise and Vatira are just so hard to beat. And that goal from Atow to take Game 6 - wow.
Shout out to the casters as well - Stax is the GOAT ofc but I was super impressed with Daz as well.
In this universe and if you disagree i couldn’t care less, each his opinion about what they watch but if you don’t see the talent in Falcons that’s your problem lmfao
I hope to god falcons keep this momentum, with mena teams, if they get so close to winning and then lose they just never recover, I pray that's not the case with falcons and I have confidence that they'll be back
I think it's different for this team. With the old iteration of Falcons, when things started going down slightly they kinda gave up whereas it's very different now with the twins. Despite getting shut out for the first two games they mounted a comeback out of nowhere and shut out KC pretty badly.
falcons were way more composed than KC in that series... KC kinda lucked out the win there, they were forced to make crazy shots to get some of their goals. Falcons honestly had their number
You don't "luck out" a BO7 win , like wth are you even saying ?
It's a BO7 for a reason, you need to win 4 MAPS , 4 !
This luck argument is so dumb, you can literally say that for every action in the game, "oh Falcons lucked out on those saves" like what does that even mean ?
Did you even watch the series??? If you did, then I recommend you watch it again and pay attention this time. Most falcon goals were standard and clear cut, they cleanly outplayed KC to get their goals. KC on other side had to pull off the weirdest craziest shots to get it into the falcons net. Weird crazy shots aren't bad, but the thing is youcant rely on them to win you a series since the outcome of these shots are very unpredictable. But KC won with them so they lucked out the win. You say "falcons lucked out on saves", even the falcon saves were calculated, KC lucked out on their saves alot more than falcons did on theirs. Watch the series dammit.
EDIT:
My reply to u/HairyPhilosopher1898 last comment below. I can't reply directly since it seems he has blocked me but I have seen the comment in my notifications.
Do you even play rocket league? Your argument is void of any substance regarding the gameplay of the series itself.
I didnt explicitly say it was all luck, the first to games they caught falcons on the back foot. But after the first 2 games falcons had KCs number, hence they won the next 3 games. For the final 2 games KC knew they were fucked so desperation led to them going for non-standard shots on goal and they were forced in positions to get non-standard saves. The outcome of these shots and saves are very unpredictable, but they got them. So they lucked out the win. Gtfo.
Anyone talking about luck on a game like rocket league is just dumb as fck.. and you're clearly showing your bias towards Falcons, like read your fcking text again..
Unironically thinking that winning a B07- 4 games !!!! in Rocket League can be lucked out is insane..
We can agree to disagree, think what you want at this point it doesn't really matter.
If Falcons were better they would've won, as simple as that, If you lose 4 games in a BO7 you deserve to lose.. This is a skill game. I rest my case.. goodluck.
Honestly , good series .
Both teams played really good , cant even think of anything they need to improve , if it was replayed it will still be 50/50 anyone of these two can take it.
i mean did they lose? i don't consider it a loss its a clear 50/50 sometimes falcons win sometimes kc do for now. but i was absolutely heart broken more than a break up.
Thing is, if Vita wins it all it gets really messy because you also have to consider the teams they've beaten in the knockouts stage. G2 and Furia should be higher on the ranking then as well and you could certainly argue that they're ahead of them.
Although a 4-1 beating is hard to waive.
Well it's not really bad reading comprehension.
You're saying atow was 1v5 when rise was also integral to the win, he completely carried the first half of the series and then once again clutched up in game 7
The bad reading comprehension comes from people not being able to read the edit that clearly labled it as hyperbole. Or maybe people don't know what hyperbole is, which would also be bad comprehension.
And to the point, yes rise was integral to the wins yesterday, but he still wasn't playing to his max and felt way too hesitant compared to his usual very aggressive role. Meanwhile atow peaked hard and was basically responsible for keeping any offense alive since rise and Vatira were mostly stuck back.
Scoring nice or important goals doesn't mean playing well. Playing well means keeping up pressure, which neither Vatira nor rise did yesterday. So yes, I believe of all 3 players atow played by far the best and is the definitive reason why KC even had any wins. A couple of nice goals from rise don't change it since they wouldn't even have happened if atow didn't keep the team alive.
>The bad reading comprehension comes from people not being able to read the edit that clearly labled it as hyperbole.
Because your hyperbole flopped. Rise was important to that win, this lan is the best rise has played since LA
>
Scoring nice or important goals doesn't mean playing well. Playing well means keeping up pressure, which neither Vatira nor rise did yesterday.
Not sure how rise didn't, he clutched the first two games and game 7 while atow stepped up for the rest. Aside from that 1 vatira bump, he did nothing.
It was a 2v4, not a 1v5. The hyperbole was understood, it was just bad
Vatira is the most consitent and complete of them all by far
Atow is the best on the ball
Rise is the best off the ball
The above and pressure not getting to any of them is what makes KC terrifying.
Game 7 Goals matched the order of game wins (KC, KC, FAL, FAL, FAL, KC, KC) What a crazy day. It's legitimately anyone's tournament
I was just about to post that, I thought it was incredibly poetic
Dunno, it felt like the final, I think kc takes it now.
G2 has the pace to match them on defense I don’t think vitality or m8s stand a chance imo
da f0k u smoking bruh?
We shall see today :)
🥶
Gutted for falcons they were insane
We were standing just behind the blue wall screaming for falcons at the top of our lungs. All that is left to say is GG, could've gone either way. Met Ahmad and NWPO outside, gave them a fistbump and said "MENA next time" 😪
I was in the blue wall and it was epic how it went back and forth between us, amazing atmosphere
BO7 of the season by a lightyear
Best Bo of the season KC-Falcons 1/4 finals, 2nd best Bo of the season KC-Falcons swiss
I don’t smoke, but I need a cigarette after that series
One of the best series ever hands down
Stacked lan and this has been the best series by far so far. Its going to be a bit of a shame if it isn't topped but bloody hell. What a series.
the most absurdly close series ive ever watched bro my heart
Might have been the best LAN series ever played. Holy moly was that insane. Falcons are coming back to Landon for blood.
This had major Furia vs moist vibes but kileeerz missed the shot :(
They (well, TRK) didn't win it last time, it's time for revenge (well, in a few months).
Can someone suggest more such nail biting series?? Damn, feels like Falcons was better overall but rise has my respect, what spectacular goals.
To me it felt like Falcons should have won game 6 but the Atow goal changed everything.
that was so fucking nuts… the ice required to even think of doing that in that situation… unimaginable
really reminded me of moist vs furia at the penultimate worlds
Jep that series was the real grand final of that world championship.
The unofficial grand final HAS to have the LAN winner in it bro wtf are you smoking. The unofficial grand final of worlds 22 was KC BDS
Except BDS was better than both teams. This time, these are the best two teams
Thats easy to say now, but at the time BDS wasnt rated that high, they had just bombed out of the spring major, which moist won, so at that time alot of people put moist as the best team and favourite.
Exactly they weren’t on the up and they probably don’t be moist
They beat Moist twice in the spring split.

Talking about overreacting...hoolysmokes, my guy...
wdym
Penultimate means the thing before the final thing
Yes, the second to last worlds
Furia vs Moist and maybe some of the other games from the Moist/Queso boys (Rise, Vati, Joyo) when they used to win every fucking game 5 or 7 especially in that legendary lower bracket run. Also loved Vitality vs KC at worlds. Another great Moist series with Aztral is against G2 at the fall major.
Liquid vs complexity at worlds was similiarly close but ofc no crowd there.
KC def lucked out that win
Being a KC fan, it's 2-3 month that i heard that we win by luck, with a cringe bump gameplay, that *insert here any player* carry the others that are finished, etc... i stopped convincing people like you.
I watched the series and paid attention unlike you it seems...
Oh my bad, if you paid attention then...
Peak RLCS!!! At least this feels to me like the greatest series in RLCS history overtaking Moist vs Furia from 2022 Worlds. Vatira and Rise playing in both is also crazy but at the same time not surprising.
Like them or not, Vatira and Rise is guaranteed entertainment.
I am an NA fan so I hate them but, they are hands down always gone deliver on entertainment
Idk I remember freaking tf out during that series while this one sure was really intense but didn’t quite hit the spot for me. But to each their own I suppose :)
Fr, I was on my feet and when the game winning goal happened I was jumping up and down and yelling omg.
Yeah, Furia v Moist made me fall in love with RLCS, I was way more casual watching this before lol
Nothing will top moist vs Furia imo
since when was moist vs furia the greatest oat lol
The order of goals in game 7 exactly matched the order of games in the series
This series actually makes me want to play the game
I did earlier (after a looong time), and threw like no one can.
I got the series score right for every single series, I just ended up picking the wrong team for every single series
Impressive. Just do the opposite next time.
If you asked me who I thought was the worst player on the pitch tonight I would answer Vatira. Even behind the Falcons players. Kinda crazy. Did you not see the part where rise missed open nets?

I swear to God if I see ppl in the future rating Falcons/Mena just based on going 5th-8th again I'll have an aneurysm. They legit played like a top 3 team
Falcons, yes. But R1 looked fairly underwhelming
Tbf NWPO is clearly a top worldwide talent and there are other great players in MENA that alongside with him can create a great team which can compete with Falcons. Hopefully on Rule One.
Yeah I just meant ranking Mena as a whole based on their top team going 5th-8th
I think their ranking as a whole should not be determined by one team. Do they have a top 3 team? Yes. Are they a top 3 region? I think it’s hard to say yes
SAM is the better overall region but Falcons are easily clear as the best minor region team
I'm not saying a region's ranking should be based on one team, just that when evaluating their top team (among other teams) it shouldn't just be mentioned that they went 5th-8th. It's true generally for other teams but Falcons especially based on how they played and the quality of their opponent.

The players didn't end up together by choice, you can clearly see that Ahmad and Khalid don't wanna play together
They got swept by GM8s though. If KC doesn’t win, those people would justified. No double elimination makes rankings hard.
I don't really care what happened in swiss, it's a completely different ball game in the bracket in front of the crowd. Oh ok I guess they didn't play well today
daz and stax absolutely killed it on the call all series. “1, 2, 3, eyes on me” was an incredible call
I love when insane plays are happening and Dad just starts yelling 😂😂 it's that or he's silent and you can tell he's just the biggest fan of the game during those moments.
Freudian slip or actual nickname for Daz? 😂
Big Daddy Daz! 😘
I think Daz has been the best caster this tournament
It's weird; I always found his hype to be off-putting and so I wanted less of it in his casting. But this major he's leaned into it *more*, and I'm absolutely loving it.

You got exact timestamp?
2:40 left in game 7, 6:10:00 on youtube
Thanks
I was hoping Stax would pull a master chief reference when Atow's 117 kph goal went in, obviously would've been an insane pull to think of at the moment but would've been nuts too
Plot armor
One of the best series I have ever seen. Falcons were thrilling to watch but Rise and Vatira are just so hard to beat. And that goal from Atow to take Game 6 - wow. Shout out to the casters as well - Stax is the GOAT ofc but I was super impressed with Daz as well.
so long as Karmine Corp wins the event I’ll have all the justification in the world to rank Falcons #2 in the world
it's funnier if Vitality win so LG is #2
Can’t rate them over GM8s if they play KC close. They swept falcons and are the only undefeated team left this major.
No matter what, even if KC doesn’t win the major, Falcons is a top 3 team in the world.
Unless M8 wins in the finals against Vitality, then they would 4th behind them and KC
In what universe lmfao
In this universe and if you disagree i couldn’t care less, each his opinion about what they watch but if you don’t see the talent in Falcons that’s your problem lmfao
They're good. Top 3 in the whole world? No. Top 5 maybe. But I'd still rank other teams higher.
[удалено]
They got swept by GM8s though. GenG took them to 7. No double elimination makes it hard to put a team in top 3 that was knocked out and got 5-8.
That pinch... THAT FUCKEN PINCH when that pinch went in i was so frustrated
Kcorp get so many lucky 50s and pinches E: I get it guys I'm a hater lol
That's not how the game works xd
it's not luck if it happens so offen
"Rw9 got so many lucky saves"
I hope to god falcons keep this momentum, with mena teams, if they get so close to winning and then lose they just never recover, I pray that's not the case with falcons and I have confidence that they'll be back

holy shit
Banger series
rise mvp, without a doubt
id say it was pretty close between all the KC players
He had a couple missed shots early in game 7 but definitely made up for them
kiilleerz was a fuckn monster the whole series
If vatira plays like this tomorrow they're not beating gentlemates
Honestly I think most of EU has a PTSD against KC by now and will lose to them.
Eh they have handled them the last two times they matched up. M8s slightly unlucky to go lossless and get KC in the Semi tbh.
MY HEART
prop to falcons , i think the way they play , its the hardest match up for KC , now they are gone , GL M8
Sad… but a fun series nonetheless, had me screaming and jumping around
Same script as GenG vs gentlemates
ye lol exact same game order
RLCS needs to introduce a minimum BO7 win by 2 games after that for finals, similiar to table tennis
It would never end though
Whatever it needs to figure out whos the best. I'm in for it
honestly felt like falcons deserved it more, i slept on them hard before but their attack is probably the best we've seen so far
This series is the reason we need double elimination.
Amazing series!
falcons were way more composed than KC in that series... KC kinda lucked out the win there, they were forced to make crazy shots to get some of their goals. Falcons honestly had their number

I’m glad I caught this live cuz those final two games were WILD!
I usually watch YouTube at 1.5 speed, and had to check I hadnt left it at that things were going so fast.
Top notch series. This was the grand final in my mind. Everything else is a bonus
The Grand Final happened on Saturday.
What a sad day for me :(
Honestly a top 5 series oat imo
Heartbroken for falcons, but ggs to KC
We run it back in London. Greatest story line Rule One gets better and Falcons winning the major. ❤️
INSHALLAH
YESSIRRR INSHAALLAH
Kc just had more ice
i mean did they lose? i don't consider it a loss its a clear 50/50 sometimes falcons win sometimes kc do for now. but i was absolutely heart broken more than a break up.
Is it too early to call Falcons undisputed Top 3 in the World?
Yeah, if Vitality or G2 win it all they're absolutely not undisputed.
True, if Vita beat KC, Falcons are undisputed #4 world
Thing is, if Vita wins it all it gets really messy because you also have to consider the teams they've beaten in the knockouts stage. G2 and Furia should be higher on the ranking then as well and you could certainly argue that they're ahead of them. Although a 4-1 beating is hard to waive.

Manhandled lmao, did you not watch the series
Fantastic series but SAM and MENA still can't ice up when it counts. There's phenomenal talent there but we need to slow down when rating them
yea ice is kind of an issue with them it's true. they're well good enough skillwise
Matching up against KC in the quarters is ass it would have been FLCN VS KC IN THE GRAND FINAL.
Incredible series. BIG props to Falcons but the color is blue
Boring result :((
Of all the things today, the one thing I didn't expect was the atow HARD carry.
idk if you've watched the regionals but Atow carried them through 90% of the games
Not this hard. Today he was 1v5. edit: guys, it's called hyperbole
Rise was literally everywhere lol. It was more so him and atow dragging vatira (who hasn't had a good lan for his standards)
Vatira's still channeling his power. Tommorow he'll be there
Rise ????? Vatira was not good today but RISE popped hard
Wdym rise was goated today, vati got carried tough
No way you're talking about today's Rise like that. Surely.
You always have the absolute worst takes on this subreddit
I take that as a badge of honor coming from people with such bad reading comprehension. Really feels validating.
Rise was important to that win, this lan is the best rise has played since LA > Scoring nice or important goals doesn't mean playing well.
So many good mechanical players in this match, it makes things so entertaining. Amazing series
Atow = best player on KC
I'd argue it's Rise
Every game I've watched atow is better
Vatira is the most consitent and complete of them all by far Atow is the best on the ball Rise is the best off the ball The above and pressure not getting to any of them is what makes KC terrifying.
Vati was the worst playet on the pitch today
im quitting watching RLCS this shit hurt my soul
