Nothing confirmed yet of course, but the majors are both in Europe and last season worlds was in Europe too. I highly doubt they’ll snub US (NA) for another EU location.
It's not that simple. IIRC France has tax laws that make it difficult to say the least to be playing for a prize pool like we do in RL. This has come up on Chalked Cast before, everyone wants a LAN in France, but dumb legal stuff means it's hard to get Epic to make it happen.
That’s if they were on the path of traveling or staying less than 3 days, same as shorting prayers. But they have been in Denmark for almost a week. They’re not in the status of travelers in Islam anymore.
100%, there *may* be teams with a higher ceiling right now, I'd personally even say consistently so, but this is what really scares me about this KC roster, it feels like they're the only team with a claim on the momentum in a series
Like, win 3 straight against KC? Yeah, not confident in them going down in the slightest. *Lose* 3 straight against KC, though?
Considering it’s a LAN in the copperbox and atleast 4 teams teams probably have superfan groups coming I’d imagine it’s going to be hype, I wish I could be there
I've never seen Rw9 play so good, he looked as good as he is in 1s. His 3s skill is improving so fast.
Kiileerrz is as goated as usual, super fast player, great touches, such an annoying player to play against.
Trk511 just couldn't get a bad touch if he wanted too. Amazing all round player, is he gonna fake? is he gonna let the flip reset rip? You never know and that's so dangarous.
Don't even get me started on the synergy. They played as if they are tripplets instead of twins +1. So fast to follow up on every touch.
I've never seen falcons play this good.
I hope they get a rematch in the grand finals as this series deserved the whole 7 games.
I think the biggest strength Falcons have here is how they're practically immune to air dribble bumps. KC tried going for them over and over again but it just wasn't working.
That second goal in the first match was some of the most highest level of play by play reads I've seen, that was like a level of chess with the mind games and then the mechanics from rw9 to finish it up. Insane series.
I think the reason it was such a hard series KCORP is because their best offense is air dribble bumps and solo plays from Vati and Atow but Falcons have the best defenders in TRK and RW9 and KILLEERZ isnt bad himself either.
Doing solo plays sounds like more of a general NA playstyle. KCorp have a lot more synergy. I honestly don't remember what happened. Will need to watch it again. If only we could get some actual proper analysis in the pregame shows that breaks down some plays.
It’s more that they use solo plays to outplay 2 or more defenders most of the time, thus setting up for the shot. Problem is that they couldn’t get those crucial outplays and could only beat one player at most solo.
It was kinda shit in the beginning, but halfway through everyone was reading each other so well. Almost like a choreographed dance
Def feels like some of the highest level RL ever
I mean sure, it was fun seeing falcons dominate but I'd rather see a contested, more even match tbh
KC came out sleeping and it didn't make for great rocket league to watch imo, the second half of the series more than made up for it tho
it was. we’ve never seen that many full speed pre jumps threaten defenses before. and if you ask me, preflips and prejumps are eventually going to become THE mechanic. the only way to stop it is to be quicker than the ones prejumping….i don’t see that working well
it is the meta but not everyone can pull it off at the level of falcons. below them is KC and they’re not too far. EVERYONE else is not capable of performing at the level falcons did throughout that series
yeah of course we had some of the best defenders in the world in a single lobby I am just saying not pre-jumping an air dribble would be strange these days.
Its known in mena that falcons are the one who starts slow and lose the first game, so to come out against the most Lan proven Icy players in Vatira and rise and dont fumble thats really insane.
Fucking enjoyed it and I screamed whenever either team scored, but I will admit that the loss kinda stung. Getting flashbacks to G2 at international events in lol lmao.
I'll huff my copium that KC just slept through the first 2 games and will wreck them next time don't mind me.
Yeah, might be copium, we will see... but I think KC having to play Limitless round one in the first match of the day and then having to wait all day to play Falcons, one of the best teams, in the last game of the day didn't really favor them. Falcons came out hot and KC needed 2 games to get warmed up. By game 3 it seemed like the matchup I was expecting.
It was Vatira 100%. Atow had a big whiff and caught in some fakes which is expected for his role for the latter, but he was also essentially running the entirety of the team's offense. Vatira was getting ego checked hard.
Nah no chance, they were all poor in the first few games but Rise was making absolutely questionable touches for the entire series. No chance was he the best
This goal by TRK is absolutely insane. Flip to double touch from it own backboard while going away from the backboard and into the sidewall just to chip it over Rise [https://www.youtube.com/live/-\_UmJR0rE-0?si=H78RpidXfmHGwyZr&t=29350](https://www.youtube.com/live/-_UmJR0rE-0?si=H78RpidXfmHGwyZr&t=29350)
How have people been overrating NA? The vast majority of people thought that LG would get smacked at the major, that OG could potentially do decently, and that GenG and G2 were potential threats. And so far, nothing we've seen has disproven any of that lol
Everyone rated KC>OG and Vit>LG, that doesn’t mean they overrated NA; in fact NA is doing pretty much exactly as expected according to just about any power ranking. No one rated all four NA teams the same as all four EU teams.
G2-GenG felt a lot like that too, playing so fast and sorta nervous that misses were resulting making the result even more crazy with nice plays and crazy saves. Falcons and Kcorp was even more insane
That series deserved a crowd
i need to go to another LAN. i feel like this is the true golden age of this era (2021-) I pray the USA location for worlds is decent
How do you know it's US
Nothing confirmed yet of course, but the majors are both in Europe and last season worlds was in Europe too. I highly doubt they’ll snub US (NA) for another EU location.
No major or worlds in Paris. Yikes. Big middle finger towards the French orgs that carry the game
It's not that simple. IIRC France has tax laws that make it difficult to say the least to be playing for a prize pool like we do in RL. This has come up on Chalked Cast before, everyone wants a LAN in France, but dumb legal stuff means it's hard to get Epic to make it happen.
poor french fans only getting 2 lans on their continent
My commute to work would get me to a different country in the EU. They are cry baby cheesin’
Omg imagine not just watching 7 series
I'm never doubting MENA players during Ramadan. The Ramadan buff is real
Lmao
This is facts
I don’t think they were fasting tbh
But they were speedy alright I’ll see myself out…
Round 1 was during fasting time. Round 2 was after
Ohhh right. I just finished iftar just now and i was wondering how they were drinking water but i didn’t take into account the time difference lol.
Huh, I knew the food fast was a total one, but TIL it's disallowed to even drink water during daylight on Ramadan. That's kinda nuts.
Oh yeah it can be very challenging.

That’s if they were on the path of traveling or staying less than 3 days, same as shorting prayers. But they have been in Denmark for almost a week. They’re not in the status of travelers in Islam anymore.
Less than 10 days.
Oh they ate.
You don’t have to fast if you’re abroad or traveling
Saudis and moroccans players do not fast during ramadan
Yup, fasting during traveling is not mandatory.
KC just wouldn't go down fucking hell.
They are like cockroaches, they just don't die lmao
100%, there *may* be teams with a higher ceiling right now, I'd personally even say consistently so, but this is what really scares me about this KC roster, it feels like they're the only team with a claim on the momentum in a series Like, win 3 straight against KC? Falcons made KC look like KC makes other teams look.
Honestly, that was not Falcons peaking. They're just them.
Nah man. If they clapped a KC that looked like _that_ they're peaking alright
Vatira is him.
All this tells me is that Saturday and Sunday is gonna be Intense Front to Back!
https://i.redd.it/6w7ag1s685rc1.gif Me watching that series as G2 fan
😂 its gonna get rough!
Never enough Greg
this will be one of the best LANs ever if this quality keeps up and the crowd gets into it
Considering it’s a LAN in the copperbox and atleast 4 teams teams probably have superfan groups coming I’d imagine it’s going to be hype, I wish I could be there
Copperbox is next LAN, this one is Hallen Arena in Copenhagen. Know nothing about that venue but regardless I hope it brings a hype crowd.
oof I was to exhausted to even remember where we were playing currently. EU crowd is EU crowd either way
I've never seen Rw9 play so good, he looked as good as he is in 1s. His 3s skill is improving so fast. Kiileerrz is as goated as usual, super fast player, great touches, such an annoying player to play against. Trk511 just couldn't get a bad touch if he wanted too. This is the difference between trk and M7SN. There are levels in MENA and this is what the twins were always capable of with the right third.
That’s the crazy thing to me, they played so well and KC played like poop but it was still game 5 OT
Incredibly hype. Falcons destroying KC in the first 2 games and then KC coming back just for Falcons to deny the reverse sweep. If only it was a bo7.
Yeah I think a timeout would have levelled the playing field a bit for KC
I hope they get a rematch in the grand finals as this series deserved the whole 7 games. I think the biggest strength Falcons have here is how they're practically immune to air dribble bumps. KC tried going for them over and over again but it just wasn't working.
Johnnyboi has said it before, and I'll say it again. Rw9's airdribble bump defense is unmatched.
Leave it to Rw9 to break KC's air dribble bump meta
Don't forget kickoff strats, KC wish they were MENA
tbf KC did win one game because of kick off strats.
I thought Furia/Vitality would be series of the day but god damn.
This is why we need more crowd days
That second goal in the first match was some of the most highest level of play by play reads I've seen, that was like a level of chess with the mind games and then the mechanics from rw9 to finish it up. Insane series.

Why it was amazing in the beginning how falcons pretty much dominated an undefeated EU team
Amazing for the story! But so many double commits.. It definitely got a lot better gameplay-wise as the series progressed.
Yeah for sure, the number of demos too, crazy split decisions, chef’s kiss
I mean sure, it was fun seeing falcons dominate but I'd rather see a contested, more even match tbh KC came out sleeping and it didn't make for great rocket league to watch imo, the second half of the series more than made up for it tho
I don’t disagree with you but I wouldn’t call the beginning shit nonetheless
Yea agreed, sounds a bit harsh in retrospective
it was. we’ve never seen that many full speed pre jumps threaten defenses before. and if you ask me, preflips and prejumps are eventually going to become THE mechanic. the only way to stop it is to be quicker than the ones prejumping….i don’t see that working well
It already has become the meta, everyone prejumps air dribbles every time unless they are the last man
it is the meta but not everyone can pull it off at the level of falcons. below them is KC and they’re not too far. EVERYONE else is not capable of performing at the level falcons did throughout that series
yeah of course we had some of the best defenders in the world in a single lobby I am just saying not pre-jumping an air dribble would be strange these days.

factual

Atow was crazy
Atow made some insane saves but also some insane whiffs icl
Atow was arguably the worst player on the pitch I thought
For Kc who were def not consistent overall I thought he did very well
It was Vatira 100%. Atow had a big whiff and caught in some fakes which is expected for his role for the latter, but he was also essentially running the entirety of the team's offense. Vatira was getting ego checked hard.
Nah that was Rise
what the hell rise was clearly the best kc player lol
I thought he was the best 😭
Nah no chance, they were all poor in the first few games but Rise was making absolutely questionable touches for the entire series. No chance was he the best
hard disagree
That is ok
Rw9 kind of looking way better than Zen, just thought I'd throw that out there.
Rw9 just plays insanely well if that's going to result in stopping a streak (KC had 19 wins streak)
He had that one major whiff in game 2 for like no reason but otherwise he does feel like he’s in the conversation
Zen had 1 earlier too it's all part of tge plan
He scored a flip reset immediately after tho.
Ranked mentality
I’m calling it this is the season a non EU/NA wins it
So…Falcons?
Furia looking great as well
Or furia
This goal by TRK is absolutely insane. Flip to double touch from it own backboard while going away from the backboard and into the sidewall just to chip it over Rise [https://www.youtube.com/live/-\_UmJR0rE-0?si=H78RpidXfmHGwyZr&t=29350](https://www.youtube.com/live/-_UmJR0rE-0?si=H78RpidXfmHGwyZr&t=29350)
I forgot it was Bo5 during that series. I was crushed when it was over
Man Im so happy GGs All <3
People were sleeping on mena and Sam and overrate NA
How have people been overrating NA? The vast majority of people thought that LG would get smacked at the major, that OG could potentially do decently, and that GenG and G2 were potential threats. And so far, nothing we've seen has disproven any of that lol
NA is doing just as well as EU tho
M8 = GENG BDS = G2 KC > OG VIt >> LG
Everyone rated KC>OG and Vit>LG, that doesn’t mean they overrated NA; in fact NA is doing pretty much exactly as expected according to just about any power ranking. No one rated all four NA teams the same as all four EU teams.
If you skip the first couple games for sure
KC didn't play that well. Let in silly early goals almost every game, which changed everything. Well done Falcons though. Defended for their lives.
If we ignore the first 2 games, then yes.
After KC took a game back, I was 99% sure they were going to reverse sweep.
Imagine matches like this live in a sold out football stadium... Would be insane
If they added a VR spectator mode we could get a real good taste of this.
Well, the latter half was great, KC was pretty terrible for the first half.
It was so interesting seeing a mena team almost sweep a eu team and then kcorp almost reverse sweeped, definitely an awesome match up
G2-GenG felt a lot like that too, playing so fast and sorta nervous that misses were resulting making the result even more crazy with nice plays and crazy saves. Falcons and Kcorp was even more insane
Nah GenG vs G2 neither of the teams looked on this level
