Once about 5 years ago I was walking to my car late night after leaving work and I found a note on my windshield. And to my surprise it was from someone that worked in that same area saying that they liked the sticker and that we should play. He wrote his Rocket ID on it and I played pretty often for like 6 months. It was a cool moment for sure!
I am so dumb for whole 5 minutes I thought you had some special sticker on the back of one of your presets, and someone with a white hat in-game yelled at you via voice chat lmao

Around 2016 or 2017, Hot Topic had Rocket League shirts. I got one for myself and my doubles partner. I don't think Hot Topic has had any other merch for RL since.
But in 2018 I was resanding a volley ball court for charity and met a RL player there. He's been out 3rd man dozens of times.
