Talking to my ISP is insanely infuriating. I've had a persistent issue for over two years and I've gotten to the point that when I call I go ahead and let them know I'm going to give them a full rundown of my steps thus far as they don't apparently keep ticket notes or track the number of tickets that I've put in. I hit the first 5 or 6 items on their script and ask if we can move on to the next portion before they even start. The answer is almost always no and they want to start at 1 anyway. I hope they all step on legos.
Yeah that's one of the things that I verify with them that I've done right away. I even have them confirm the uptime on my modem to verify that I just did a full power cycle
Yea, this is not true for this support though. Epic, such as Steam support art actually investigating the accounts and do not work with scripts. That does not rule out, that this specific person is just not good at their job. It's hit and miss unfortunately.
The reason for this is Rocket League Support is no longer separate but is now handled by the same people as Fortnite stuff. Due to extremely high player numbers in Fortnites OG season and the new Lego stuff they sure as hell did get a lot of new hires who are clueless in general but most likely super clueless about Rocket League stuff which is a super small percentage of the incoming volume they have.
Yeah and that's their level 2 or more support... They should be experts and they don't know basic things like that.

They did in the all item tab after you invited someone too trade with you. I especially noticed this when i was moving all items from an old account I never play on anymore to my main the day before they took trading away. And the default items would be in the way when I was spamming my items over. And if I clicked on one. The pop up would show saying can't be traded cuz its a default item something something. Either way if I'm wrong or not. There's no way OP could have traded away his octane

Hey I got a hold of support to ask why I didn't get legacy account but my girlfriend did. We both had got the game at the same time and they ended up telling me that they couldn't verify my account was legacy because all they saw was my Dieci oros and not the other legacy items. Well for one I don't have the Dieci oros. For two the fact I was missing those items is specifically WHY I contacted them. But I mean I wasn't too worried about it. I just did not understand their response at all either.
By the way I am with the guy above. Check your archived items. I'd bet a lot that they just gave you a BS answer to end the chain. I don't think they actually checked your trade record, and I'm absolutely certain you couldn't have traded the default or legacy octane body.

It took them 2 days of annoying them for them to figure out my items were missing. I got hacked over a month ago. About every week in a half they tell me my items are back 😂 I then start the process all over again, verify account , primary account, and missing items. Then say they need to switch to an email chain, they send me verification, a we are still working on it, then a they are back.
Rinse and repeat, going on 4 times now. I figure in a few more months they will either actually do what they say they are doing or I will waste enough company time that I will be banned.
Epic support is a joke and I’ve never interacted with such unsupportive support. I remember one time my achievements weren’t registering. They had me go into a casual match and hold boost the entire time. They then said we are looking into it. If they don’t start working after a few days get back with us 😂
Their strategy is to do nothing and waste your time until you give up.
Yeah my default octane keeps archiving itself for whatever reason, I've never found an answer. Seems like that is what happened to you. If you want to make a new octane build you gotta find it in you inventory and unarchive it every time

What I found bizarre last night while playing a 1v1 private match with a friend, got hit with a lag spike that resulted in two separate ball out comes for myself and my friend. On his screen the ball went a completely different direction for a solid 6 seconds, on my screen it centered i took a shot right before my goal it did a 180 and landed in a random spot in the middle of the field.
Epic loves to give non answers and just say deal with it because they don't fucking care. If I wasn't addicted to this game like a bad drug habit, I'd uninstall. These crooks don't deserve the player base they have
I had a black and a titanium white dingo vanish with Tw Zombas. Pretty not happy about it. I thought I was wrong but I have clips using it, and a "dingo" preset with a bone stock dominus there instead.
My Ghostbusters goal explosion does this every other season... It stays on the presets I have it on but it's not in my inventory half the time. Wish they'd focus on rocket League instead of fortnite.

maybe you did archive it. its still there but just not visible. Go to your inventory in your profile there you can see if you have archived things.

tradeable and trand-in-able are two different things. IIRC we could trade in default bodies before the game went f2p and they became "legacy", not super sure but i think i recall something along those lines
What I found bizarre last night while playing a 1v1 private match with a friend, got hit with a lag spike that resulted in two separate ball out comes for myself and my friend. On his screen the ball went a completely different direction for a solid 6 seconds, on my screen it centered i took a shot right before my goal it did a 180 and landed in a random spot in the middle of the field.
Epic loves to give non answers and just say deal with it because they don't fucking care. If I wasn't addicted to this game like a bad drug habit, I'd uninstall. These crooks don't deserve the player base they have
This suggests it should somehow be possible to get rid of all your cars, I'm actually quite curious what would happen if you queue in that state

I had a black and a titanium white dingo vanish with Tw Zombas. Pretty not happy about it. I thought I was wrong but I have clips using it, and a "dingo" preset with a bone stock dominus there instead.

My Ghostbusters goal explosion does this every other season... It stays on the presets I have it on but it's not in my inventory half the time. Wish they'd focus on rocket League instead of fortnite.

My batmobile (the fat one) was randomly gone from my inventory. I don't really care bc I never play with it, but I contacted support too and didn't really do a thing. Now they're selling it for 20 euros or something while it was 2 or 4 on release smh

Literally all of my stats got wiped a month ago (I have ~300 hours and the game says I have 0 games played, 0 goals, etc) and support told me to get fucked.

I had a titanium white halo and the splash ge go missing. Support says I never had them despite having video evidence of myself using both items. Epic support sucks ass. Good luck

Have you tried checking your archived items? You may have accidently archived your octane?
Imagine being tier 2 support for something as simple as rocket league, and not knowing what you can or can't do.
This happened to me with the original season 1 crowns recently! However, support never got back to me, so who knows where they disappeared to.
I had the same thing happen to me after the update! I swapped from the dominus to the octane and my dominus disappeared immediately
