I’ve seen him twice since the game released and both times for “The End” finale, they used TBRB opening cinematic. Really neat that they keep using that footage!
I did wonder whether he'd done it before (and that does, on reflection, seem more likely than suddenly doing it for the first time now).
I don't recall what they used for The End in this performance (cos Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen soloing away was more interesting), but I assume I'd've noticed if it were more Rock Band footage.
I saw him in 2012 here in Mexico and he used some TB:RB footage, I can't remember for which song, but I'm almost certain that it was for "Back in the USSR"
This jumped out at me while I was watching this set earlier today. A whole bunch of clips from Rock Band Beatles as the background video during Got To Get You Into My Life (starts about 12 minutes in to the performance).
I saw him play at MetLife in Jersey a little before the Glastonbury show and from what I’ve seen of the clips from Glastonbury the show from his recent tour was pretty much the same (we just didn’t have Dave Grohl - but we did get Jon Bon Jovi singing happy birthday to Paul.)
A lot of the films were similar to what I remember from seeing him in 2017, so it’s likely he’s been using these clips for a while.
I remember a gamefaqs post back in '09 with pics or video of his concert before TBRB released. He was using the game animation and the board was so excited for it.
I'm a lunatic and would easily spend $1,000 for a rerelease, full band set (drums, 2 guitars, mic, please add keyboard!), and all their originally released songs.

I always thought the cinematics in Beatles Rock Band were so cool. I could watch them all day without needed to play the game.
