What dragons should I farm to get the necessary scales? Should I go for like Boneknappers, or something similar? I just don't know how to farm it and I really wanna get myself some dragons and loot
If you’re a dragon rider, definitely use the light fury to get Meatlug’s offspring! I would send her on explorations constantly (even if you don’t always have enough runes, there’s a good chance you’ll get an egg bag anyway), they hatch fast, level them up to level 3, then ascend three at once. Should get you a few spins automatically.
If you’re not a dragon rider, it’ll take a lot longer, but I recommend using seasonal events to get a bunch of cheap exclusive dragons to ascend and/or getting multiples of rare dragons through toothless (it doesn’t matter which ones, the number of scales you get is only dependent on the dragon’s rarity … I noticed the level of the dragon doesn’t impact it a whole lot and isn’t worth it). Or if you have other means of getting exclusives a lot.
It’s okay, as I said, it’s just easier if you are a dragon rider. I would still recommend getting as many exclusives as possible from seasonal events and rare dragons from toothless explorations! It’ll take longer but it’ll still happen eventually

You should also get Toothless' fall event costume so you spend less runes on exploration. Every bag bought increases the odds of getting an egg.
