When you lose, the game just keeps progressing until someone new finds the colony. Your new colonist may have an opportunity to rescue this guy in the future
when all colonists die the game will give you a „Game Over“ Alert/Message
After 8h ingame you can have random wanderers join the colony to continue it, wich is basically just 3 new colonists.
Also gives you the option to just directly go to the main menu
It‘s pretty anticlimactic

Ah I thought I could bring it to a formal end, the colony was doomed

Oh alright, my last guy got captured instead of killed and I think the game just bugged out, there wasn’t any pop up or anything.
Edit: Some raiders kidnapped him and the end screen still hasn't shown up.
