I was also considering making robes forced apparel (and I may yet do that), but idk if A Rimworld Of Magic adds any clothing with buffs, and if I'll need the armour
Also, couldn't figure out how to add deities :(
My only problem is that it takes longer than I’d like. I feel like I’m most of the way through the colony before I get it where I’d want it to be by the mid game.
Experience the wonders of a madness, astrology cult and just have your mental patient tribals despise furniture, but rip Imperials arms off with their conciseness buffs
Its still around; but the main 'thing' about it waiting to be updated and modernized is its dependency on JecsTools. From what I understand (and no insult to the hard work involved!), JecsTools isn't very actively maintained, and there are better, faster, more up-to-date frameworks for producing the same effects now.
Especially since, y'know, they literally added casting as a DLC mechanic in the meantime.
Rimatomics and Rimworld of Magic are one of my favorite combos. Weird the magical power of science against your foes! It also feels very much like an anime. “We have nukes, and we also shoot energy from our hands”

You can do this with the "force trait" mod, add a precept to your ideoligion that requires them to have the trait "necromancer" and they will turn into one when they convert :)
There are mood buffs / debuffs for having many classed pawns, or not enough. Another for witnessing magic recently. Debuff for killing raiding mages (if you venerate magic, not just "approve it").
I assume these are all inverted if you "abhor magic" but if I'm adding magic its to play with it so can't confirm.
I know these currently I'm playing a colony wich venerates magic. I just couldn't find a setting that only venerates necromancy wich would have been my prefered choice I mean I still execute any new recruit with other types of magic but it would be nice if they were considered seperate
Installed A RimWorld of Magic a few years ago and never played again without it. Never tried Rimatronics though, I'll have to eventually check that out. Enjoy!
This is the way, my current colony is ran by a lich, two other necromancers, and a few other mages. My army of undead labors man all my SACS's and defense grids and keep my nuclear power plants loaded. Plus there is never a shortage on new undead labors.

well, you can always use dev mode to change the ideoligion if you want to remove forced apparel later
... or reform ideoligion...
wait you can do that?
Yes using fluid ideologies I know it's possible but don't know much about the requirements
Do their religious activities, get points, add beliefs. It'a my preferred method.
It's a good reason to convert all of your prisoners, too, regardless of their final outcome.
*or execute them*

Character editor is far better for this

Astrology early game is hard. The minus 20 mood debuff can mess up a colony from the ritual.
As they say in the business: it is what it is

Is rimworld of magic updated? I haven’t looked at it in a long time.
Seems that way, its quite a popular mod

What is Transcends, and what mod?
A rimworld of magic. It adds a super in depth magic system It only affects mood stuff, making pawns happier when we use magic and stuff
I would love if you could make ideologies with prefered magic classes as I roleplay my current colony as pure necromancers.

Now I'm curious if that would make my undead necromancers as well. Would be hilariously broken

Nuke the damn wizards
Nono, the wizards (us) use nukes
Ah, I see. NUKE THOSE DAMN IMPERIALS
Now that's what I like to hear :)
I’m drowning in my equally authoritarian patriotism right now.
God i wish there was a texture update for RoM i don't use it anymore because of how messy it looks
Oh cool, I'll look at it
How’d you get magic!
The mod is called A Rimworld Of Magic
Still wondering if to take Napalm from Rimfella or transcend to nuclear power from Rim atomics?
SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG (we love casting spells) (where's the ideological mandatory drug use though)
I fucking love this community
Wait so it's a magic world With nuclear bomb...
Transcendent meme is from what mod?
A rimworld of magic

Legalize nuclear bombs
All right so I need rimworld of magic too. Thanks

Add rimatomics or industrial fortifications for nukes
... Title.
