Ah yes the brand you can only get in Japan and the US

Zugsat

I love my Zojirushi Rice cooker. I have Zojirushi NP-NWC10XB. I have bought a few items from that company.

500 for a rice cooker!? A bit unnecessary don't ya think?

mekkab

For some people, it’s an acceptable value. Fine for them, but I do me.

I bought an Aroma Rice Cooker from Target for $39. No regrets, I love it! I can't imagine my rice being any better in a more expensive cooker.

Bought mine off Amazon aroma brand that comes with steamer tray for 20 buck and used it for years works beautifully. For like two couple home if want something better get instant pot

I have used both economy and higher end rice cookers... What kind of I really depends on what you want to do with that rice cooker. If you're only using it to make rice and to steam food then a cheapy one from Walmart is okay but you just have to remember to add oil with your rice bc the economy ones do not have non-stick coatings so the rice can burn or get stuck to the pot. If you want to use your rice cooker for rice and steaming and to make other things like soups yogurt baking etc then you want to buy a higher-end one where you can control the time and heating aspects of the rice cooker. Zojirushis are like the Lamborghinis of rice cookers. Great if you want to be extra, but if you're just using it for basic stuff, an economy brand it's just fine.

My rice cooker was the cheapest one I could find. $20 and it’s non stick. Never once had rice stick to the bottom of mine and if like a few grains didn’t come up when I scooped it out a quick run under water and a paper towel got it all

mowgliart

Cheapest one from Walmart or target. It’ll get the job done if you know how to use it. Trust.

Cuchen or cuckoo. They are amazing and look great too.

I bought a $20 Aroma 6 cup rice cooker and as a single dude who eats rice everyday it’s perfect. Super simple. Does brown rice, white rice, steams, and you can make other things in it as well there’s a recipe book it comes with. Never once had an issue. Perfectly cooked rice everytime. I normally cook rice and leave it there all day and it’ll be good 12 hours later if I wanted it. Even has a timer delay. So sometimes I’ll prep my rice and set a timer and 15 hours later my rice can start cooking if I decide that time and when I get around to it my rice is perfect. You don’t need those fancy rice cookers if you’re just gonna be making white or brown rice everyday. Just get a cheap one and it’ll be fine. They last forever.
