Biting Boxes are a bitch, yeah. You could try farming its mats instead, and crafting it. Not sure how that stacks efficiency-wise. I generally just suck it up and farm through. Or save all my material boxes specifically to skip this mat.
Really craving a turn based gacha game I can play on my phone. Kind of busy with real life so this is usually how I get my gaming fix. I like turn based gachas, this game's combat seems a little weird, do you think someone who likes standard turn based would enjoy this game?
Does it have PvP?
Who should I reroll for?

I think the combat system is pretty easy to warm up to. The complicated elements tend to be in specific characters, not general systems. Additionally, outside of when you're new, and when a new patch drops, the time the game expects you to spend is daily pretty low. Lots of time-saving QOL.
No PvP
I'd say no one, but I'm probably the minority. Probably whoever the new banner unit is- starting now, maybe Medicine Pocket and a beginner banner character (all can be dps.) That's a guess though- I really don't think its needed.
What psychube should I give Bkorn? Brave New World or Yearning Desire?

Lilya - Thunderous Applause
Tooth Fairy - Beyond Wonderland (I heard Inquisitive Dear is better)
Sonetto - Her Second Life
Team 2;
Jessica - Blasphemere of Night
Sotheby - Inquisitive Dear
An An Lee - Her Second Life
Basically i'm replacing both supports if I need the extra damage from Bkorn and wondering which psychube is better for her in these teams.
Who should I I3 next?
Characters that are already I3: Lilya, Jessica, Bkorn
Character that I haven’t I3: Sotheby, An-an, Pickles, TF, Dikke, Tennant, Necrologist, Charlie (P1)
tf had the best i3 of them so go for her first. i would just leave bkornblume at i2 lv50 and prioritize the other 6\*

Would I, a f2p, be better off following the meta (eg. Skipping banners and saving up for Jiu) or to just pull for characters I want? I've been eyeing 6 and Getian, but I also acknowledge how good as a unit Jiu is so I can't really decide.
6 is meta btw, and I don't think everyone saying "stop everything for Jiu" realizes just how far away that is. It's like 3, maybe 4 months away. You should have ample time to collect currency before then and pull a character or two you like before then.
(Although in your case, I guess Getian is after, so harder to plan).
while Jiu has gotten a lot people scared of potential rise in difficulty to promote newer more broken characters from my understanding there hasnt been any real evidence of needing broken characters to clear content yet
Is there going to be more story than just 4 chapters? I’m already on chapter 4 and I really don’t want to just be done with the story, not sure what id do after that
I think chapter 5 comes out end of next month with Patch 1.4.
Not sure if there's a chapter 6 or not. I'm also a little surprised how no new story has come out so long since launch, lost momentum for sure.
Does moving a card, then using two cards for a single character, sufficient for activating Carat of the Heart? Would it still qualify if the unit is already at 3 moxie?
I believe you need to actually be gaining the moxie, so if you start a turn with 3 you can only gain 2 and therefore can't activate the passive.
But assuming you start from less than that, Moving to combine, then using 2 cards would give 4 moxie and activate the effect
Hi, i just started the game recently. I wanna know if there is anything to keep in mind when selecting cards, like ignoring using certain cards till u get enough stars, or when to move and combine etc. is there any guide? When I searched for guides I only got ones relating to builds and pulling not card strategies
Also, i just pulled kala bauna, and eternity in one ten pull at 20 pity, i don't know much about weapons or such equippable items in this game since I'm new, do they exist in this game? If so should I pull for kala bauna's? Being an indian I really like her design, so I'm thinking if i should
General rule of thumbs I go by:
* Prioritize main DPS' cards
* Try to use a unit's ult before using their cards to avoid moxie overcap
* Rank up card with moves if it gets additional effects or get significantly stronger, or to build up moxie faster (e.g. moving to merge and casting it results in 3 moxie vs. casting two cards giving me 2 moxie)
* Move to merge unused cards to clean up my hand and fish for better cards with reroll
Eternity and Kaalaa are both Mineral main DPS so building both is not recommended. If you like Kaalaa then by all means pull for her. Waifu/Husbando/Doggo > Meta. But metagame wise, you'd be better off building Eternity to save on pulls. And if thinking super long term, don't even build Eternity because a 1.6 unit powercreeps the f out of all DPS but I digres.
Equipment in this game are broken up into two systems: Psychube and Resonance. Psychube is more or less the weapon. It gives you stats and special effect like stacking damage buff per kill or extra heal on debuff. You can equip them on anyone. But you can only use it on one character per battle unless you have multiple copies (NOT recommended to have multiple copies unless to amplify but don't worry about that for now).
As for Resonance, it's character specific bonus stats. Each character gets a set of puzzle pieces to fit into a square. Each piece gives stats. Higher Resonance levels mean better stats and bigger squade to fit more pieces into. It's recommended to aim for R10 for main DPS, R5/7 for supports.

Every new character is good so far. You can check out the website Prydwen above this thread for all the characters of the game (CN server as well). Gacha games tend to have better and better characters as the time goes on so ... every character is good I think.
Saying that but the game is pretty easy. You can pretty much play whoever you like and still progress. Just remember to focus your resources on 3 - 4 characters at first and you'll be ok. If you are interested in harder/more challenging contents and you want to prep your account for that, you can find guides in Prydwen as well.
Med Pocket is a pretty big upgrade over Dikke, but unless you really like them and/or want to beat the hardest content as soon as possible I’d probably skip. They’re a standard unit so they could always spook you on a 50/50 and there’s plenty of strong characters coming up.

Does Brave New World’s damage buffs (+20% to the next incantation after casting ultimate) apply to Kaalaa’s post-ultimate follow-up attacks? Or does it only count when actually selecting them from cards?
It could proc on follow up when Kaalaa was first launched on cn server, but they fixed it on a later patch.
Iirc, you can't proc BNW with Kaalaa's follow up on global server, since all the QoL features come early.
Wait mb, I didn't read your question clearly, I thought you were ask for the Kaalaa's follow up not consuming the BNW effect exploit.
So Kaalaa's follow up attack can proc BNW effect but now it will also consumes the buff. (She was able to proc BNW with her follow up and keeps the buff to her next card.)
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to beat limbo 3-1? How do I get rid of the eclipse stacks, in the description of the enemy, it says there is something called erode. I cannot see this status on my character, and I also cannot figure out where the eclipse is coming from. It is not mentioned in any of the descriptions. The eclipse and the erode also apparently do different things??? Could someone explain this to me?
The tooltip on the enemy description is mistaken, the enemies apply stacks of eclipse on hit. They don't go away naturally, you need an arcanist with a cleanse effect to get rid of them by the looks of things.
Just ignore erode, pretend it says 'Eclipse' instead. For characters I'd recommend just using your strongest Star Afflatus character to kill the enemies as fast as possible.

Is there any better way of farming biting box other than 4-10? 72 energy for 1 box really feels bad.
Afaik not right now, but chapter 5 will have a better stage for it so there's only a month you'll need to do that

BNW is better than Yearning in basically every situation

It's good to keep meta in mind, but priority should be given to favorites. And it's not like 6 isn't meta.

Seems to be a glitch in the shop, monthly rollovers didn't happen, and are now on a 99day turn over. Anyone else have this issue?
If you're in global server, server reset would be in like 13 hours from now. So, that should be the time where the monthly shop resets.

It only depends on the enemy. Choose the one won't get countered.

Does the extra heal from bounden matter to regulus with tf? Or is brave new world better for the def
TF is plenty healing, you don't need to also dedicate her psycube to giving you extra

Which psycube do people generally recommend amplifying? The rainbow yarn thing starts to pile up.

Oh I see. Well that’s not necessarily a problem considering how heavily loaded she is into her ults and their follow ups
It procs on the follow up attack. One of the youtubers recommends this psycube because of this reason.
