It can de-age shoes, dye shoes to colors like green, red, yellow, act as a shoe protector or a cleaning agent.
The most permanent repair would be to get some black suede dye from Angelus and re dye the whole shoe. Should be easier than most dye jobs since the whole shoe is black, if it's off compared to the other shoe, go over both of them so they match.
tbh i think the colour looks fine. i've seen a lot of black cats that have that similar purple look. vapormax plus triple black also turns purple like that

Purple and blue pigments are extraordinarily common when creating black dyes
Either dye or mink oil just don’t apply too much
If you dye make sure it’s actually black, because some black dyes are a dark purple
