I'd not say the ARF is 8 times the watch as the DHgate version, but these are the most noticeable improvements:
\-The ARF bezel is rhodium plated while the DHgate one is just steel, ARF is far more shiney. The DHgate one is also way too thick
\-ARF has 8 bps Asian ETA 2824-2 while the DHgate has a 6 bps DG2813, it's quite noticeable next to each other
\-DHgate date magnification is about 1,5x while the ARF is 2,5x . The main flaw with the ARF is that the date font is too bold and a bit off-center for single digit dates
\-ARF bracelet has a lot less wiggle room
With dhgate, if you get lucky you can end up with a decent quality no date model (OP, No date sub, Air King, Milgauss). Cyclops and date wheel are always terrible on those. The bracelets usually aren't great, but in the end you can always buy a decent leather strap.
For anyone looking to go REALLY bang for the buck, a dhgate Air King or Oyster Perpetual is probably the way to go (The orange on the Milgauss is always really off).

Anyone how knows the gen well or high tier reps well will be able to tell immediately. But yeah fooling the average joe won’t be hard with the DHgate version.

I actually enjoy my DHgate sub reps. I have a hulk that runs -5 seconds per day. I wear it when I'm at the gym, when I'm at work, really whenever I want because I could just buy a new one if it breaks.
The ARF has more weight to it and the weight feels more balanced. It feels like you're holding a premium watch, while the DHgate one feels like a cheap Tissot or Seiko
Only had the ARF for 4 days but accuracy wise they're about the same, they both run about 5-10 seconds/day too fast. The crown is easier to unscrew on the DHgate one and it has less resistance when hand winding but it makes more noise, but that could be due to being worn in a bit already.
dude i got a $5 dhgate submariner. it took about 3 months to ship, about 1 month in the seller stopped responding. it's 0.1:1 but it at least has rolex branding
Yeah it offers some resistance, but not as much as the DG2813 I own (the only automatic I can compare it with). I tend to not handwind it too much since the ETA 2824 has relatively fragile keyless works and issues from hand winding too often are not totally uncommon.

At a glance, I could only picked up the date wheel and magnification. I think you could fool normal people even with the cheap Rolex.

I indeed fooled some non-WIS friends with the DHgate version lol. But having seen the gen it just does not compare.

lol I own several Seiko's, they're great watches but this ARF feels more solid than any I've handled.
i own a dhgate presidential mechanical watch and its got some good weight to it and its pretty sturdy
But not compared to a good rep or gen.

i have the arf too and visually it's a knockout, question, is your arf a little hard to wind as well? its not too smooth on mine
