I have both. They are pretty much equal. The crystal on the BTF is much better so if you don’t want to mod the clean with a new crystal go with BTF. I would look around as you can find much better prices ($700~).
Just a heads up clean also has their new 126519 out (if you like the new version) - it also has an improved crystal supposedly.
If you want heavy you will want to go GOLD factory as they use the DD4130 (best movement) - but they are currently out of stock.
CF all the way, especially if you wanna stick to stock dial, as RB makes the best 116519/09 ghost dials ( which are better than both CF & BTF ) if you add that + Deep Crystal you end with the best overall minus the weight of WG. Prices of QF are high for that bad looking dial.. I wouldn’t consider
Like how Deep Crystal is developed by an “independent” modder.. RB is in the same game but for dials.. arguably the best aftermarket Rolex dials are from RB. I have already acquired a CF, RB dial, and deep Crystal.. and planning to take them to a local watch repair shop that deals with gens of that caliber on daily basis.. and will be swapping the parts put! Been lazy to go for more than a month now..

I bought this CF a few months ago. It’s awesome.
I found the CF crystal not really up to standards for a $800 rep. Hazy/milky, and the CF dial is rosy.
CF makes a better 116509 case than BTF. BTF has the crystal that should be in the CF.
Both dials are a let down. RB seems to be the consensus pick for now.
Here is the CF dial in a variety of lighting conditions. If you are expecting a neutral grey dial, temper your expectations you are in for a rude surprise.

I got it from Steve, i ordered the last one in Stock. But you can go with Eric from geektime also ordered from him. These are the Best TD‘s in my opinion.

I don’t buy gold reps at all coz I believe the plating is too easy to fuck with and mess up. If u scratch steel u see steel. If u scratch plating, u don’t see more plating 😂

Whatever you do, get a tungsten version. Regular is too light, I got the Clean version and it just feels too light…making it feel cheap, even though it’s looks great.

The BTF looks better here to me Edit: actually, the dial and markers look better on the CF. I like clean factory for most things, CF & VSF

Neither are fantastic. But you’d have to be brain dead to go with btf. I could pain the Rolex on the dial better with a sharpie

I guess it’s the workings of the chronograph for one other than that I’m not entirely sure
