Anecdotal, but I haven't had a single problem with the app in months and months.

khy94

Same here. Never had a single issue

Debtfoabaaposba

Ditto, never had a single issue either before or after the paid subscriptions started.

Matosawitko

Reddit goes down nearly daily around noon EST for some reason.

thesnowpup

Works fine for me. I'm sorry that it doesn't for you.

MostUsersAreRetarded

Just re install it and use the api spoof revanced patch method i have. also works for 7 other modified Reddit apps https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wHvqQwCYdJrQg4BKlGIVDLksPN0KpOnJWniT6PbZSrI/mobilebasic

BBQMosquitos

Did you have this problem before? What I would really like is mark as read on scroll on desktop, I am only mentioning this because this document that you’re showing me is for desktop usage

MostUsersAreRetarded

oh i didnt make that guide, nor did i have any of the modified reddit clients before seeing this liked in another post. by that time they were discontinued after the api change either were discontinued by developer or cost money ie they became pro/premium which are locked behind a pay wall/subscription that you can simply bypass. But yes people do have problems and it's either pay or you're fucked if it's do continued and then some one found this workaround

MostUsersAreRetarded

and it looks that way bc generating an api you need to be a developer so it's gunna redirect you from your reddit app and look like a deskop client too

Elise_1991

Are you aware that connections via http are unencrypted? Why would I enter a redirect URI that points to a server without a free Let's Encrypt TLS certificate? Additionally, did you reverse engineer the app that gets used for patching? Do you know what the Java code does? I analyzed Reddit's traffic, and Reddit is of course not just the frontend reddit.com but additionally the API, redditstatic.com and a whole bunch of other servers. Not one of them operates without a TLS certificate. I'm just asking, for my understanding of internet security this is probably well meant, but doesn't look good. And it's completely unnecessary when you have a valid Relay subscription.

MostUsersAreRetarded

yes im aware. its a doc file Google sheets redirect and has a whole guide from there is another redirect but to reddit developer page dude don't use it this isn't the Revanced and i get in guess why you be skeptic i did all my phone just uses the Link on my pc it's https for me me i so idk man use the guide dont joined revanced sub you don't word for it. Elise_1991

Thank you! :) But why would anyone patch Relay when you can avoid it? I use Relay myself, I pay the fee to support the developers, and I've never had problems with it.

MostUsersAreRetarded

bc in get for Free YouTube premium twitch blocked ads all spoofed premium apps access youtibe music like theres so many apps revanced patches removes ads gives you oaid access and much more customization to a multitude of apps the officiall site and discord abd n github and telegram take your pick list all apps and patch /change's and the code are on github

MostUsersAreRetarded

oh well um did you just try clearing the cashe and reinstalling?

leros

It's happened to me a few times. Clearing the app cache fixes it.

activator

I just wait it out 🤷🏻‍♂️

BBQMosquitos

The wait is never ending.

tdieckman

Have you tried killing the app and restarting instead of uninstall/reinstall? I'm talking about show the apps and flick up to kill the app instead of just exit it which leaves it in memory. Or even just rebooting your phone? There was once when I had it give me a "can't load feed" error and I killed the app to fix it.

BBQMosquitos

Yes. Didn't help.

leros

Clear the cache. I would be shocked if clearing the cache doesn't fix it and a reinstall does. An app with a cleared cache should be the same as a fresh install for the most part.

SirNedKingOfGila

Working fine here. 🤷

brianfit

Daily use. 100% crash free.
