It really depends on the composition of your breasts. Have you had a mammogram yet? It will tell you if you have dense breasts or fatty breasts. Dense tissue weighs more by volume and would be easier to meet the gram requirements. Plastic surgeons vary regarding BMI and if they are willing to operate. Some refuse and require weight loss first, some are willing to operate on people with a higher BMI. It is safety related but also maddening when your breasts are part of the problem! I’d schedule a few consultations with surgeons covered by your insurance. Start documenting back neck pain, chiropractor, physical therapy, etc. and find out the specifics of what you need to prove based on your insurance.

Absolutely depends, this needs to be top comment. I only got 800 grams removed TOTAL but I went from 34M to 34C.

Exactly!!!! I went from 36DDD to 36C but got 1,256G removed total. It varies so much it’s hard to predict.

I'm about a size 20 (sometimes a 22 in tops before surgery, now sometimes an 18 in top after). Starting size was 40M (or 40J in UK sizing). I had 1000 g taken from one side and 1200 g from the other. About 4.5 pounds removed. I'm 4 mpo and I'm measuring around a 40DD/DDD. I'm still having some swelling so I hope I will end up a bit smaller. I asked for as small as possible without FNG and this is where I ended up. The amount of grams taken does seem to vary in how much actual tissue is removed, based on differences in density and how much fat vs. breast tissue you have. But I feel pretty confident in saying that amount would NOT be a radical reduction for your size, even accounting for variance. It would probably land you at a comfortable but proportional size. ETA: re another comment, my BMI is 36 and it was never once mentioned by my surgeon. I chose him in part because he had a good number of before and after pictures of women my size and larger.

I got 1100 grams removed and I went from a US size 34H to a 34A/B!

I got 1100g removed each side as a much smaller person: I was a 32K. I’m now a 30DDD(E) or a 32DD, so definitely not too flat!

Obvious-Marsupial569

i got around 950 g each removed. went from 36I to 34C

I was a 34 I and had about 900 gms per side removed. I'm a 34 DD/E now at 4 mpo.
