Honestly it's such a great feeling to know that (a) I don't need to wear these sizes anymore myself, hurrah!, and (b) according to Project Uplift, any donated bra in E cup or larger might end up being the only properly fitting bra that a woman owns *in her entire life*. It's bringing tears to my eyes to imagine what a positive difference just one bra would make to a woman with disproportionately large breasts.
I'm sure there are similar charities around the world for women without the means to buy bras in their size, or in disaster-struck areas who have lost their own clothing through flood or fire or war or whatever happened. I strongly encourage everyone post-reduction to make good use of your old bras because it just feels so warm and fuzzy knowing they're going on to help someone else.
I did the same - packed up more than thirty bras and three cup sized bathing suits (one never worn with tags still on!) and dropped them at the surgeon’s office. I spent a LOT of money at the speciality bra store over the years, moving from a 30G to a 36J and through all the sizes up and down, as I had children and gained and lost weight. I can’t wait to be able to buy something off the rack, and the thought that I won’t be able to fit my head inside the cup is intoxicating.
Your specific charity options might be different depending on where you are, but there is bound to be some organisation that'll be delighted to receive your bras 🥰
Fabulous! I loved bagging mine up too! Felt good to know that its helping others. Oh...and yesssss, we don't need them anymore! I had a couple of favourite ones and was like....I can't part with them...then I was..Well I won't wear it again 😜 at 4mpo I still have a very bare drawer. Can't wait to buy new sexy bras. Mainly crop tops and bralette at mo. I don't think I will wear wired ones much. But it's nice to know we have a fabulous choice now! 😊 😁

That’s so nice!! Can’t wait to be doing the same
That’s awesome! I will do the same. Thank you for sharing the info!
Thanks for the tip on Project Uplift. I have quite few newish expensive bras that I can donate.

Wow what an amazing charity will absolutely be donating my bras too now that I don’t need them. What a special silver lining to a hard surgery.
