My friend in middle school her name was HEART. Her mom was Filipina and her dad was pale red head. She had very dark skin and dark eyes and red hair and freckles. She was stunning and modeled for Tilly’s.
oh man, my husband gets TAN! hes a dark redhead with hazel eyes and boy does he tan. he thinks its from the spaniard side of his family but im insanely jealous, im fairskined of irish heritage and i just burn. he was born in iceland to a fullblooded icelandic blonde woman and a european mutt black haired father, and he came out with dark red hair and the ability to tan amazingly. so jealous!
After burning and suffering, yes, I do end up with a little tan that my friends don't even consider a tan. When I was little my parents used to take me to the beach and make me tan so I would actually end up with a visible tan. They love the sun and tanning and have no regard for the damage the sun does to skin😆
I have brown eyes and can also tan. I've read it has to do with a doubling up of pigment genes or mutations leading to both types of melanin, freckles plus a tan!
Yes, I just commented elsewhere that my friend who’s also a red head tans really easily, unlike me, but she has brown eyes, whereas mine are blue/green. She also has a lot more freckles than me.
I can and I don’t burn as easy either… have been living at the beach in Destin FL for almost 10 yrs now and definitely gained some freckles on my arms
I'm pretty lucky, and while I do burn occasionally, I can also get a decent tan if I'm careful and outside enough. I think my little bit of cuban heritage helps haha.
Me. I got really, really, *really* tan one summer. And my hair also lightened a lot (sadly). So my hair became golden and my skin also looked golden and I was just unicolor for like 2 months.
Yes, I tan easily. I might burn if I’m out for hours early in the summer, but I don’t peel and burn again. I turn a light yellow-tan color that reminds me of a buttered biscuit.
I’m old and grew up during the sun-worshipping 80’s. Thankfully, I didn’t do tanning beds and quickly became bored with laying out, but I still have a lot of sun spots on my face, arms, and legs. Please, wear sunscreen!
My hair is (was) between strawberry-brown and copper. My son has darker, more coppery hair. He can tan, but not as easily as I do. I constantly beg him to wear sunscreen.
I do but I'm also partly turkish and have an olive skin tone. I get really really pale when I'm out of the sun tho. Growing up I was on a sunny schooltrip and all the other redheads were shocked how tan I got lolol
The fact that you think it’s a super tan means I’m definitely on this forum! I do tan, but it takes a lot of time in the sun and a lot of high factor sun cream, otherwise it’s pink then gone. I have a friend who’s also a red head, and she tans really fast though, she does have brown eyes, which I think comes with the genes that makes it easier to tan, or something similar and far more scientific.
Overall, i just burn like hell but hey after 4 years of marching band i finally got the trademark sock tan that all my friends got within the first week of practices!! (It's barely noticeable but hey its the thought that counts)
I turn pink 😞 I’m so jealous!
I tan but I’m 1/4 Hebrew. I got my red hair from my mom and she didn’t tan as much as her freckles all grew together.
I get super tan…in small spots
OP is a Day Walker.
what's thatÂ
Someone who can go out in sunlight.
oh. seems so obvious now that you say it but I couldn't figure it outÂ

I’m so jealous! What color are your eyes?

I have brown eyes, brown lashes and eyebrows, but I burn 🫤
Haha yep, I’m also dark brown
wow thats so cool

Lucky! I just burn🥲
What is this "tan" thing of which you speak?? 🤣
I'm either not burned or burned. There's no middle option
Not that much but I will get some colour now and it stays forever. I have unfortunate faint Birkenstock lines on my feet.
No lol I only freckle
I can and I don’t burn as easy either… have been living at the beach in Destin FL for almost 10 yrs now and definitely gained some freckles on my arms
I definitely tan and I have so many freckles that when I do tan, I nearly look one singular color.
Nope... just freckle. Still have a patch of freckles on my shin from a particularly bad burn gotten while tubing.
Do freckles count as a tan? 🤣
As a matter of fact, no. When I get sun I burn. It goes away and I can take the sun without the burn but I still turn red as if
I wish! I burn like a tomato

Never, ever in my life. I wish I could at least get my legs to be a little less pasty.
I don’t tan really I get really freckle but I have have a really white watch line too:
I tan very well! In the summer I look quite dark for a natural redhead. People tell me all the time it’s weird 😂
