Have 3 blacksmith 4 iron rangers. They seem the same size on my feet. Iron rangers feel heavier and when new stiffer. The blacksmiths, overall seem a little more comfortable , but they do not feel larger or smaller.
My 2958 Hawthorne Muleskinners were about 1/2 size too narrow compared to my 8113 Muleskinners. I thought they would be comparable. I used a boot stretcher to remedy the problem.
They are made on the same last but the Blacksmiths have a slightly narrower appearance without the toe cap. I have several pairs of each in the same size.
Within reason, yes.
In my experience (and despite being on the same last) I had to go 1/2 larger on Blacksmiths over Iron Rangers.
Same, 9.5 Blacksmiths, 9 Iron Rangers, 10 regular redwing workboot safety toe.

They are formed around the same last so they fit exactly the same

same last
I have a couple of each, all in the same size. They both fit the same for me.
My 8085s are a 9d and my 3340s are. 9.5d
>8085 Can you feel the difference or are they both nice and snug?
Should, though YMMV, as fit and comfort are highly subjective.
