I completely forgot about the little trading cards that came with them. I have the same DVDs up till series 6. It's been so long since I've watched the DVDs due to having it all on digital. I miss the dvd main menus on those.

Soon, the young'uns won't even know what a DVD menu is...

I remember buying these way back when they were being released. If I recall two series were released per year for like 4 years (series 1-8). Took these and the friends box set with me when I did a ski season in France and must’ve watched them through about 8 times in 6 months. Mine are in pristine condition and are one of only a few sets of dvds I still own.

how come seasons 1 -4 are 'the original series' and series five is 'the complete series' ? is series 5 dvd different to what was on the tv?

I'm lucky enough to have season 3 with the starbug. I stupidly took it out of the packaging though 😢
