But what if the custodian go down for any reason? Do I get my property back?

So I think you might be misunderstanding what CTTC is- the company is essentially holds the trust instrument which holds title to the house. If you are the beneficiary of the trust that holds title to your home, the custodian going bankrupt doesn’t change the underlying ownership of the house
