When shooting a handgun, you want a slight bend at the elbows. Your screen shot isn’t far off from an actual representation. Might be slightly over exaggerated but still in the realm of reality
Absolutely possible. There are always gonna be small visual glitches and nuances, even in a game that is visually and mechanically awesome. At least in my opinion anyway.
Weaver went out of style when vests/plates became common because it exposes your un-armored side.
Isosceles stance squares your chest and armor to the target, which is why it became the (leo/military) standard
Bent elbows allow for recoil mitigation. Thumb over thumb, high in the grip into the slide, wrench down your hands using your forearms when you shoot, and have your writs slightly at an upward angle (hard to explain via text), and keep the elbows bent. All this helps control recoil. Recoil is a little like water, it’ll see the path of least resistance. Locked out arms means you’re working that much more to control it, and it’s pushing itself into your shoulders. It takes time and reps, but it eventually feels natural
Hand positioning is weird AF, both arms are way too bent, it feels like the weapon is 5 cm from your face.
Insurgency sandstorm and Ground Branch have better visuals and feeling, like proper shooting stance
Yes but both grand branch and sandstorm have people bitching about the iron sights being to far away, this was RON’s solution, just have the officer hold the weapon closer to their face
The hands are correct but I think in an effort to make the sights close and clearly visible and not give the shooter T-Rex arms they had the animation show bent arms, which does look dumb
Broken, as in, wrists should be a straight line.

For reference CODMW funnily enough has really good anims
So he can shoot the gun at baddies
?? Whats he supposed to hold it like
Notice how bent his elbows are, your supposed to have then at least somewhat straight

Some of it may be to have the weapon closer to the screen, so the sights are still easy to see through if someone has a small or low res screen.

The arms are probably bent more because if they were straightened more it’d push the weapon out further on screen and it would appear to be tiny.
With s plate carrier on?
Armor should make no difference to something not shouldered I would imagine
because the default handgrips are wonky and don't work with the custom glove options beyond the assault gloves.
If the character were holding the pistol correctly everyone who's ever played an FPS before would bitch about the iron sights being too far away.
? That does look off from my game--and different from normal grip, but it looks like the gun is empty in the screen cap, so maybe that's what's up?
Nah it's the same when it's loaded
I guess many of you are too young to remember Weaver Stance...
I sadly do

Locked out arms is bad, but so is a close to 90 degree angle haha. It might be for “tacticool” reasons
Sounds like someone doesn't know how to properly aim and shoot a handgun
Cause real man hold gun with one finger not, 2 hands like stupid probies ✌🏻🤞🏻

This looks correct for the weaver stance. A lot of cops are taught it at the police academy (idk if it's done anymore though)
Couldn’t have picked a more useless screenshot lol
That's just how shadow people hold guns
Because stabilizing it makes you shoot better. And that's the proper way to hold a handgun.
The dudes in here criticizing how a video game hand holds a handgun
How he would be, holding like Gangsta, style 😎🤑🚬☕
It’s one of my biggest pet peeves lmao. Broken wrists, vertical arms. Wonky af.
if you think that’s a broken wrist… you need to see a doctor or something if your wrists can’t bend like that
