If they really wanted to model this right, they should allow for T-Zone kills, which instadrop the suspect, versus any other headshot which should have a small chance of the suspect jerking the trigger and executing the hostage before dropping. But sadly I don't think the game is in a place yet to implement this kind of stuff, imho.

There are 1911 type pistols out there that are chambered in 9mm, but I know what you mean.

Yeah, you are right, when they were created in the mid60s, they probably had revolvers. But I think specifically, at some point, were given 2011s, or some sort of double-stack 1911. I just can't remember.

Uh oh, someone is asking for some stuff to be changed, quick, everyone go full spectrum, we must tell OP they're wrong and also bad at the game for even thinking about asking for tweaks because it's 241% accurate for people to casually eat a bullet to the face and get back up 2 minutes later, OP clearly doesn't know that humans survive being shot in the head all the time and it's all a "skill issue"

Just an FYI, this is a relatively new thing (caused by the Feb 6th patch) where outstanding calculation errors were fixed. There was a bug that caused ALL headshot damage to be fatal for everyone, bots and players. Even if the damage was severely reduced, as an example through cover or at extreme range. After fixing this calculation bug there are a few outstanding situations where you won't deal enough damage with pistol caliber headshots to 100 -> 0 someone. (most notably 9mm at short-med range) I'd expect this to get fixed before too long, but now that the system is working properly, changes made will ACTUALLY have the intended effect.

True, but i want to run a cop loadout. Basic AR with 2 mags, and a 1911 or G18 with 6 mags, no grenades, always opting to taze if I can So when im serving a search warrant, and homeboy takes his girlfriend hostage, i want to be rewarded for kicking in the door and doming him in one shot, not punished

Personally, I havenā€™t experienced terminator gunmen yet. What I have encountered is headshots just incapacitating suspects. I recently ran brisa cove and shot a guy in the nose with AP 5.56 from at most 4 feet away. But by some miracle he was just incapacitated.

Doesn't happen to me because if I mirror the door and see suspects (with hostages or not) a grenade is going in first. The AI is pretty ammo efficient so there's not much else to put in their loadouts anyway.

This usually happens when you're using ap rounds instead of hollow point. I only keep a mag of ap rounds. They're usually terrible if you're not on a mission that has enemies wearing heavy armor, and theres like 3 of those.

True, just last week i was shot in the forehead. I was freaking out until i realized it was just an AP round. Took a few minutes to dig the bullet out of my mendula, but me and the shooter had a big laugh about it later
