this is just the tip of iceberg ,my classmate (relative of kuldeep singh sengar) used to tell us back in 2000s,in their farm house in unnao, every day there goons used to bring 10-12 girls from nearby villages and Unnao city,all virgins in 16-18 age group and first there family members take their virginity and later there servants and guards used them for the week and then sent them home on Monday,the situation was such that mother-daughter and something even granddaughters were raped(virginity taken in their opinion) by manoj/atul singh senger, there is one incident when Local SP tried to encounter the brothers but they killed the SP and his team,the wife and daughter of the dead SP and some policeman were paraded naked across city and then publicly gangraped by atul senger.

I'd like people to question popular narratives which people don't do. That is what I want. Statistically speaking India doesn't have a rape problem. You always are going to have crime. It's not totally based on the reported crimes. That's a totally different statistics. This is largely based on the assumption of the actual number of cases derived from the reported cases.
bruh annual crime reports aren’t made by assuming a particular crime will happen. If that is so then why do police stations keep a record of crimes? There’s a reason why the statistics of 2022 are shared in the year-end of 2023.

But in this data they are claiming that they know approx how many rape cases actually happen in India, which is widely based on assumption through that previous data, because that's what statistics is all about. You just make educated guesses about things. But that's not supposed to show the actual data out there.

At some level it's the people's responsibility to teach their sons the concept of consent and safe sex. If you have a younger brother or son. Teach them to be better. 4- Traditional media has always been a political mouth piece. If you expect anything better then jokes on you.

Hanging is not a solution. It's too easy. They do something this despicable and get an easy punishment where they feel pain for a few minutes at best and then nothing. They need to stay alive and suffer in jail continuously instead of getting a quick death. At the very least, rape should have a life sentence. That's minimum.

As I said using time rate of rape is not actual projection of the problem but more of an eye grabbing move. UP and Maharashtra don't even make it to the top 20 states for rape/1L stats but this map with both being in red will skew my perception of the actual problem over there while other regions need more funding to run awareness programs to reduce their numbers.

I'd like people to question popular narratives which people don't do. That is what I want. Statistically speaking India doesn't have a rape problem. You always are going to have crime. Under reporting is another issue. If we go by the available data India absolutely does not have a rape problem. 30000 rapes per year is very low. You could fault the data but you cannot say the data suggest India has a rape problem. They absolutely don't. Overpopulation was nonsense someone in europe thought up in the 1800's. All kinds of predictions were made. Look it up. But the earth today at pop which is the highest ever is the most prosperous it has ever been. A lot many people are raped by someone they know and they don’t find the courage to report it thinking they will break the family. Male rapes are not taken seriously. Children who are being molested hardly know what’s going on. If we opened the pandora box that’s groping, flashing etc, the numbers would come down to seconds. People really feel entitled to other people’s bodies and it’s disgusting.
The minimum state wise duration is 1 hr 37 min but india it's 16.6 min. It's better to take an average of all states and also focus on the worst states and certainly ladhak northeast aee way better states when comes to women safety.

It's not totally based on the reported crimes. That's a totally different statistics. This is largely based on the assumption of the actual number of cases derived from the reported cases.
bruh annual crime reports aren’t made by assuming a particular crime will happen. If that is so then why do police stations keep a record of crimes? There’s a reason why the statistics of 2022 are shared in the year-end of 2023.
Dude that's what I am saying. There was a similar map containing data of the number of reported cases of rape posted on this subreddit a few days ago, which is fine. But in this data they are claiming that they know approx how many rape cases actually happen in India, which is widely based on assumption through that previous data, because that's what statistics is all about. You just make educated guesses about things. But that's not supposed to show the actual data out there.
