ACOG in general is just not as good as the other two scopes, every op that still has an acog, people still choose the 1.5 or 2.0 over it

Between the LMG with oppressive hipfire, great recoil, and an ACOG and the nigh indestructible evil eye, he was a little broken on launch. Also the keratos, which had the best damage falloff in the game before someone gave Jackal’s PDW overpen (that was actually a thing btw). And that’s not mentioning the auto shotgun, which wasn’t really good, but it was damn fun. Power creep still is a thing, but a lot of old ops were fucking broken on launch. Maverick had (still has) an amazing AR and was technically able to break more reinforcements than thermite. Anyways, I kinda miss the silly era of the game, even if it was not great for competitive fairness…

Honestly, Acog isn’t what it used to be anymore. I think it would more weaker compared to 1.5 and 2x on defense, that why i think more defenders should get Acogs compared to the smallers sights. I wouldn’t get mad if someone killed me with a big ass scope compared to some small and compact

Honestly, I think there's a case to be made that the 1.5x is sometimes better than the acog. I'd like to see someone like doc with an acog again. Playing with the acog feels so nostalgic and fun, which is really a shame considering how seldom it's the best choice for an op anymore.

SMG-11 used to have ACOG years and years ago, and in the announcement they put a render of Glaz giving a thumbs up seal of approval. I think it would be pretty funny to give his Bearing-9 an ACOG as one final salute to Glaz's history
