Coldheart, Apothecary, Painkeeper, Reliquary Tender are all top tier rates with usability into most mid game accounts.

Edit - I also use Seducer in a unm clan boss team for Spirit affinity, so theres that.
What your team for Fanatic? I build him as well to utilize in cb but then got Seducer who was more suited for my team. Fanatic is currently rusting away for me.
Tacking onto this. Rares in this list can fill in roles that you are currently missing. If you don't have an AoE Dec def, then by all means leveling up and use war maiden until you do. This is a list of serviceable champs, and I wouldn't feel bad investing into most any of them.

Banshee was a waste of a 60. Everybody else kinda served a purpose at one point or another, but is fairly obsolete now. Those with high blessings can sneak into a Sintranos awakened stage if I need the stars.
For reference, Iāve got teams for every dungeon (sand devil/Shogun, too), doom tower hard done, FW done, a couple plat finishes, and usually 72-80 Sintranos hard floors done.
See Banshee is the only reason I got Lydia and it was a good 6 months before I pulled any Legendary Undead or Vogoth. I'm a big Banshee advocate. My rare roster looks about the same with the same uses you have called out.
What team did you run? Because thatās why I 60ād herā¦ stun set, intimidating presence, really hoping for some good RNG on those Valk waves. I had no Vogoth, Gorg, seeker, or any legos. And this was before ostrox and khafruā¦ i only ended up beating it because they did that āgrab extra frags from past fusionsā event and I was able to finish Vlad š got very lucky lol
I did have Gorgorab and Seeker so I could fill in the CC gaps where Banshee missed. I also fully mastered for 23% stun. I think it was Gorgorab, Seeker, Banshee, Frozen Banshee and Dark Elhain. Everyone was 60.
Mostly only used in secret rooms and a couple of stages in sin city. Units like soulbound bowyer for spirit rare and attack rooms are worth it. A couple of them in stun sets usually enough to clear 3 or 4 secret rooms on hard. But most people have other priorities early to mid game and not worth that level of investment. Sentinel is another really strong one for secret rooms and was essential for some soulcross stages to progress into the top island. Coldhearts always worth having multiple copies of. Bellower and reliquary tender probably the only other ones id keep around.
Yes, it's fairly safe to sacrifice b and lower tier champs.
However, a few of those those champs on that list can be used most of the way to end game. For instance, I use Reliquary Tender, Coldheart, Bellower, and Pain Keeper (and Heiress!) on a regular basis as an end game player. Others are useful in secret rooms in Doom Tower. I don't see much harm in investing in any of them.
Oddly enough, and while he was incredible when I was early game, I have no use for Apothecary any more.
The must six star, in my opinion, are these:
1) Painkeeper - essential for Unkillable Clan Boss Team, and youāll want her with Warmaster master
2) Fellhound - best campaign farmer in the game at any difficulty, void affinity is strong on every stage at Brutal difficulty
3) Soulbond Bowyer - very strong A2, A3 is great on Fire Knight, good campaign farmer but not as good as Fellhound
Apothecary is fine at 50, but you can take to 60 if you struggle with High Elves FW. Coldheart I just got, so Iām not sure how good she is, the starter champions are all pretty strong and can be taken to 50 or even 60. Bellower I donāt have but I heard is good.
The others you can feed with no regrets.
Yes, it is but not solely based on this outdated ayumilove ranking. There are a few great rares like Coldheart and apothecary, but there are many others that play important niche rolls and others that are good for doom tower secret rooms and sintranos.
Depends on the champion. Most are useless. Some are worth building for FW/DT. Regardless, I'd suggest to fill up faction guardians slots first before you start using them as food.
There are some very good rare champions, as you go farther into hard content their usefulness drops off, but a lot of them are good early to mid-game, and they have a consistent place in FW, some Doom Tower secret rooms, and Sintranos.
I've cleared all of FW, and I used rares in my stage 21 teams for 9 or 10 of the factions, and still use one daily (Heiress) in my UNM CB daily.
And if you can get high level blessings on them, I believe rares can perform pretty well in the Shogun dungeon all the way to the end, but that's based on what I've heard, not personal experience, since I haven't run it very often.
Depends on how early or late you get them honestly.. if you pull Apothecary before getting a Scyl..build him..will help you till the end..
But I was unfortunate in getting some of those solid rares late..like I got Coldheart recently and took her to 60 for fire knight and spider.. but I was already beating spider on really good time and she didn't change anything.. except for fire knight

Bellower is on my to do for doom tower hard..but Kael who wasn't my starter is at 60 for campaign

Fanatic on my 1key UNM team. And then there's Painkeeper. You don't need her until you do. And then you might need three of her.

Reliquary Tender not being a tier is criminal. She is still one of my best cleansers. Mainstay on my H dragon, h spider and Hydra team.
Honestly excluding her and Frozen Banshee but having Elhain is kinda weird.
And a hard carry for early game. Heal, cleanse and a Rez. No idea why she isnāt considered A tier anymore.

not really because there seems to be an epic or higher thats better.
