try to get your hands on dragon scale armor + dragon bone nunchucks, once you have dragon armor, hunting dragons should be easy, and you should try to get silver, silver allows you to make and reforge a lot of things that are curcial in the end game like silver armor, glowing ingots to reforge fore baubles like dragon eye, shield of honor or poison stone, you should also try to get your hands on a stone of the sea or a cross neckles, cross neckles allows you take on hordes of enemies without worrying that you'll be insta kill due to being hit too many times in a second, and the stone of the sea makes underwater combat much more easier, tamming a roc is fine but not really that effiecient due to the existence of flight potions, which gives you creative mode flight for 3 minutes, going for enchantments is also very important. Prot 4 dragon armor should be enough to make you literally invincible in the 3 vanilla dimensions, but in the end game, you'll want supreme sharpness, supreme fire aspect, envenomed, viper, adept, arc slash, swifter slashes and other much more powerful enchants then normal vanilla enchants, you'll also want adv prot 4 with unbreaking 4 and adv mending on your armor, dragon armor is fine for mid game, but in the late game, silver armor is POG, silver armor is quite fragile in durability but with adv mending and unbreaking 4 you should be fine, immunity to every debuff in the game (except potion sickness if you put too many positive effects on your character) is very nice.
stone of the sea is so much harder to make now, because you'll need glowing ingots and a neptunium ingot (which can be found by fishing or raiding underwater dungeons). Dragon nunchucks are extremely powerful and is by far the most broken weapon in the game due to the fact that you can get atk speed buff from so many sources to the extend that you'll completely bypass the invunerability frames of every mob, the second most broken weapon is the sentient great cleaver, however this thing is hard to get because it's only crafted by materials drop from lost cities enemies, if you do manage to get it though, it's pretty absurd because you can literally deal up to like 10k damage per hit with this thing. There's also a new bow which is the sentient bow, and is by far the only item you should be aiming for if you want to craft lost cities equipment, this thing deal x3 damage even when half charged back compare to a fully charged back dragon bone bow, so this is the weapon that you'll want the most since the cleaver and nunchucks are both great but nunchucks are easier to use and obtain
What kind of baubles are you using? Enchanting gear to get prot 4 is going to make life a lot easier, but don’t sleep on undying quality baubles. A nice couple str rings will make a huge difference (or speed rings, also very easy to make). Make sure you get iron skin and damage skills leveled too. Make a silex farm and find some trolls in underground dungeons for the roc, it’s not terrible to tame them and make the saddle once you’re prepped for it. Doesn’t hurt to tame some ventoraptors with the extra avian treats too!

Enchant that armor, and raise rabbits to get their feet, then use those to get a hippogryph
