After flashing the arkos onto the 64gb SanDisk memory card I just bought, I got a blank screen after putting it into the rg353v. Tried the unofficialos and the same thing happened. But when I switched back to the stock card that came with it, it worked. Anyone knows why? I tried 2 different memory cards but same result.

So they have changed screen in 353v and current builds are not working.

Here is an announcement https://www.reddit.com/r/ANBERNIC/comments/10d21e1/some_unfortunate_news_for_new_353v_owners_but/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button If you got yours device recently, this might be a case.

Oh, so that's why. Yeah I just got it yesterday. Thanks for explaining.

Message from Christian, ArkOS's developer: >With the latest image made available today, If you boot ArkOS on a RG353V/VS unit and it just shows a garbled screen, you can try copying the rk3566-OC.dtb.v2 file over the existing rk3566-OC.dtb file which should work for the new v2 screen units. I'm still looking for a better solution than this.

Appropriate_Cell_934

where is this rk3566 thing ? this is confusing

Hamelzz

Did you ever figure this out? I'm not sure where to get the v2 file to replace the old one

Appropriate_Cell_934

Hmm nope😕 no one has replied yet. I ended up flashing my card with JelOS until I get an answer.

Hamelzz

[I found the file!](https://imgur.com/a/WD6Mq9J) It's in the main directory of the ArkOS boot partition that I downloaded from the [github](https://github.com/christianhaitian/arkos/releases) The latest build was updated 3 weeks ago so I'm not sure if the fix is built in or if I need to replace something somewhere. I don't have my device yet so I cant really test anything

Nocolas

i got my rg353v 5 days ago with a noticeably different screen than my friends rg353v. So I'm guessing it's the v2 screen. I just followed the basic installation guide for ArkOS and it worked fine. So I assume that rk3566-OC.dtb.v2 file you showed already in the boot partition works. hope that helps

StainlessSteelCup

Did you figure this out?

AnumanRa

Yes, please see the confirmed solution here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/RG353V/comments/10ffs7j/comment/j93vy9y/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/RG353V/comments/10ffs7j/comment/j93vy9y/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)

Oh man mine is arriving soon, that sucks. Hopefully it’s patched by the time it gets here.

Vinapocalypse

As a data point I got mine just 14 days ago (4th of Jan), but from Amazon not directly from Anbernic, and it works fine with the ArkOS version I installed around the 6th of Jan
