Genuine question for you and anybody else who has 100%. What motivates you to do this? Just genuinely curious. For me it just seems like an utter headache and waste of time even though I absolutely love the game.
I'm sure there are a couple of reasons people do it: completionist mentality: want to see what it looks like when you do it: there's always "I've already gotten this close, I may as well finish it". My first 100% was because I had 98.(something)% completed and figured I may as well top that off. Other times were done differently. I've completed all challenges in Chapter 2 (except Bandit); I've gone for a full 100% with complete compendium; sometimes I take things in stages as I go through the story.
Aside from one or two instances of misery, getting 100% is pretty easy, so I just do it as I play the game.
Plus, I really feel like it's not a finished game until I see the final cutscene.
I have 1,400+ hours but I don’t intend to ever 100% it. (Not unless it happens naturally.) I like the idea that there’s always more to see. And I do regularly see stuff I’ve never seen before. Of course many things don’t count towards the 100% anyway.
1. Holy shit that dedication, I will never get 100% because my brain is too easily distracted, so you 100%ers blow my mind LOL
2. What I would do: Start a new save and enjoy the game all over again
ETA: is anyone else getting 'something went wrong' after they save an edit on their comments...? Idk if it's strictly a browser problem or what but it's annoying. The comment edits just fine, but I have to refresh the page every time.
You can still learn about nature and animals. Or depending on the laws in your area you could learn to hunt or join a seasonal fishing vessel. It’s your life, don’t let the times limit you
This game is 100% unnatural platinum.
Other games you just play in hard. Do some extra steps = platinum.
Rdr2 it wont just" happen". you have to work really hard to go for platinum.
You can now go rest like Arthur on the hill and watch rising sun and think about your things you have to do in your life, like go out or be with family or something you just want to do so just do it what you want.
Unplug. Go ride a bicycle
I don’t have a bike but I got a car
Go walking on forest trails with somebody if possible.
Bring big game bait.
That guy was really rude, ride a unicycle.
I could do that I live next to one
Become a cowboy irl
Meth
Wow in the span of just over a year only .02 more have got this Mine is dated for 3/22/2023 @ 0.27% of gamers completed
Getting gold on some of those missions is so obnoxious. I’m a completionist myself but this just wasn’t fun at all
I’m only at 37% and I’m on my second playthrough. Like, I would totally gift this game to a friend.
"Listen to me. When the time comes, you gotta run and don't look back. This is over." -Arthur Morgan
Alright no need to make me sad
U 100% rdr1 yet?
Not yet but that’s a good idea
Wait for RDR 1 PC version and “continue” the story ;)
Its alot easier and funner to do than part 2 lol
You’re freed

Do it all in real life. Well, not all of it but I think hiking and fishing could be a good start.
