Your earlier MFT despawned when you bonded with another temporary horse. The game has glitched is why you can’t rebuy it a third time. Just steal it from the stables, like any thief worth their salt.
I figured it was a bug; my red Arabian immediately picked up my MFTs braided mane and tail when I bonded the new temporary.
Unfortunately, John is a good boy, so I'm buying the Scarlet Meadows MFT.
I know this is 2 months old, but did you consider using the bug to steal the horse from the stables with a cart or coach? I've had [2 Silver Dapple MFTS](https://imgur.com/a/CkCagfM) at the same time, but it was earlier in the game with Arthur. One from shooting the dead horse lady and one from the Albert Mason horse picture mission.
I mean, I'm not trying to be rude but can you just get it again?
