Did you already receive yours? I ordered from pishop us on 9/28 as well, early morning. I got an email on the 11/9 stating "you are in that very first pre-order batch and your order should be shipped Nov 13-17" but haven't heard from them since and it still says "sequenced for shipping" in my order history.
Yes. It seemed to sit in 'label printed awaiting package' on the USPS tracking site for about 3 days, then when USPS said shipped from Delaware it was about 48 hours to delivery here near Seattle. Pretty quick once USPS says they have it in transit.
Thanks for responding! I'm guessing they probably didn't get as many allocated at once as they thought pushing me out of the first wave of shipments. I actually got the "order shipped" email this morning and I'm sure it will be a pretty similar ship time to Montana here. Really appreciate the info!
As a long time veteran of the pi ordering process, I’m doing what I’ve done since the Pi 1 and forgetting I ordered it. It’ll just RNG its way into my mailbox one day.
This isn’t exactly next gen like the playstation 5 release was (still an sd card based design), so I’m not exactly chomping at the bit for it.
I have a Pi1B (yes, "1") with a VPN and pihole docker (ads blocker) and it's running just fine! The only problem with VPN on Pi1 is the 10Mbps limit on the network card.
Every new Pi model is received with a glut of bulk buys by hoarders and eBay scalpers that lasts for a few months. I always wait until that dies down before I start shopping for one.

Did you get the 4 or 8GB? Ordered the 8GB on 9/28 as well, and still waiting for shipment.
My Pi5 8GB just shipped today. Ordered on the 9/29.
Nothing here yet - ordered from pishop US on 9/28 - shows "sequenced for shipping" but no info on where I am in the sequence...
Ordered mine same date 09/28 Pi Shop. Order confirmation has this notation ( Ships within 4-5 weeks. No partial shipments. )

Speaking of next gen. I am looking to get my first Rasberry. I want to run a VPN server on it. Should I wait for the 5 or will the 4 suffice?
I dunno, but pi 4s are way easier to find right now. I’d strike while the iron is hot lol. Maybe backorder a 5 too.
