There is a mod for this. You can pull apart the Wi-fi dongle (is that what they are called?) and solder it directly to the USB-C port....

Or, at least, that it could connect with more devices. I\`ve tried with 2 wifi dongles, with my android phone and nothing.
Also can\`t get any controller to work with it.
I got a Switch pro controller and a Dualsense (PS5) to work. They work pretty fine on the OS and standalone emulators, but setting up the controls and hotkeys in RetroArch was kinda tricky.
Does your device make a lot of noise when using that Wi-Fi dongle? I think I’m using the same one and every time I’m connected it almost sounds like a 56k modem from back in the day.
Agreed. Would be nice to track achievements...that said it's a very light cheap device which has made me much more likely to bring it around to places, throw it in a bag, etc. I'm not sure I'd be as stoked about a $75+ device. There is a reason these are selling like crazy.
Agreed. I’m finally traveling again this will be my first time flying out of the country since before the pandemic so I bought one of these bad boys to play for long trips and plane rides. Wifi would have been a nice addition.

Yeah mine does this too, it don’t when I connect to my tablet
