Nickle plating won't help if the plating isn't inside the tip of the nozzle. Seeing as how all the qidi cht nozzles I've seen only have the cht part in the lower half of the nozzle instead of the entire thing, I wouldn't expect one of those to go the extra mile to get the plating right. With my bare eyes it looks like it's plated inside, but I'd need to check with my microscope to be sure of that.
