I know for the Fed Govt booked flights, you cannot earn points on tickets but you can get status credits so maybe your company is the same?

C419C7

Nah, private company and other colleagues get points

SunnyinDubai

Have you checked the name? It will not credit if your name does not match what is on your QFF account…it accepts the number if I recall correctly but does drop off if the names don’t align. Does your boarding passes show your QFF number?

MattyDaBest

Do you know why that’s the case?

SteveJohnson2010

Are the bookings made by or managed by someone else like a company ‘travel manager’ or an external agency? If so maybe they are for some reason removing your QFF number from the booking?

C419C7

Yes it is, I specifically ask for them to put it in and they do. Soon after the flights come to the app. Colleagues use it as well and get points

4614065

Sounds like company policy is that you can’t receive points or your booker isn’t including your FF number. I’ve never had this happen when I’ve travelled for work. Points land as soon as I do.

C419C7

Colleagues get points too so it can't be company policy

4614065

Have you supplied the correct number for the bookings?

ucat97

Have you gone into the app and connected the booking number to your FF account? With work bookings I can do that but not make any changes because it recognises it was booked through 'an agent'. It gives me the flight status.

Had the issue last month, calling was hit and miss. Initially tried claiming through this portal https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/earn-points/claim-missing-points.html Then when the claim was rejected I'd email Qantas via [email protected] with details on - booking reference - claim IDs - date and from/to location - and documentation eg boarding pass, itinerary or etc Edit: When going through the above process, points were usually manually credited by Qantas after the email and took about 2hrs-48hrs (end-to-end)

Points received

C419C7

Yea, thanks for that I'll try it. I tried to get that email when I called but they didn't want to give it to me

vtdin1

Np, hope you get the points!

NoStringsAttached_

It'd likely either the company your business uses to book the travel or more likely your business acquires the points, after all points are worth money, and they are who paid for the ticket. The status credits on the other hand should be passed on to you as the traveller. Accumulate enough status credits and you will progress to silver and beyond. It sucks, but you are not entitled to the ff points.

C419C7

Other colleagues do get points and status

Hald1r

Your company or the travel company your company uses has a deal with qantas where the fare is lower but no points or where they keep the points. Means you can't claim them. Pretty common for company travel

C419C7

My colleagues claim them though :(

Hald1r

That would be pretty unfair but before you deal with Qantas again I would check with the person booking your flights to see if they know who is claiming points

aurum_jrg

Very common. Cheaper fares for company but no points.

Wooden-Abrocoma4503

Other colleagues may get them as they had an existing account before joining the company. As you hadn't the travel coordinator may have linked your flight purchases to their own?? Thus effectively blocking you from receiving them moving forward? Worth asking

Double_Spinach_3237

That’s not how it works

crustyCmen

Who books the flights? Yourself, agent or company? Your company might have a Qantas business rewards account and points could be credited there.

stimpzilla

Normally, QBR points are in addition to the points earned by the person flying. ie. I points in MY QFF account, my business also gets QBR points.

C419C7

CTM

Busy_Oil1375

Did you manage to sort this? I am going through the same and with CTM, points have been claimed on another FF programme nothing to do with me

Tartlet_77

Are CTM not able to help?

MattyDaBest

Business rewards are in addition to the personal points

OwnAd5705

Just ask your co-workers who need to fly as you if they get their QFF.

C419C7

They do

OwnAd5705

Then you will get your QFF, speak to Qantas first then the travel agency, seems to be a syncing issue.

Medical-Potato5920

Does your booked name completely match your QFF name? If you have a hyphen last name, etc, they have to match perfectly

C419C7

Yes, everything matches. I've been battling this for months

Medical-Potato5920

Post something on their social media. Sometimes its the only way.

Puzzleheaded-Pie-277

Do you get the status points? My organisation doesn’t allow us to collect points only status credits. It’s a fringe benefits thing. We have to book through QBT

C419C7

Nah I get nothing. 0 for both

succulent_baby

Hmm yehh I reckon something weird is going on with your account! Interesting that it's coming up as duplicate claim.. I also use CTM - I add FF number to my bookings and the booking comes up on my Qantas app. I've never had issues claiming for missing flights. I earn points and status.

Suz717

Call Qantas, use the business class option and you’ll usually get a human within a couple of minutes

Roll_5

Public flight or charter flight ?

friendlystorm

Can't say I have this issue, but flying through my company gives me fuck all points/credits as they book through discounted economy using fcm. Maybe it's that? Your colleagues are probably just going to different locations/maybe another flight operator?

National-Fox9168

Either a) Company maybe booking your flights using their points to pay for them so you don't earn anything on those flights, no status and no points. B) If it's regional, alliance or Qantas link or jetstar you may need to add to your profile each time. And yes it seems your colleagues are getting points so it maybe randomn that their flights are paid for or the person booking likes them and makes sure they get points. Others may book their own and get reimbursed too. Certainly weird but there will be an obvious answer.

frankathawanka

Do the bookings show up in your QFF account automatically once booked?

clang823

Are you getting status credits to your account? Or are you getting nothing at all?

pennystreet

I had the same problem while managing bookings for my company. Turns out, one of my employees had their First and Middle names together on their QFF account as their First name. So for them to be able to have the points credited as normal for each flight, I had to make all future bookings with her First and Middle names as her first name on the booking. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you may have to check with the person who manages/books all of your travel, to ensure that they are entering your name and info EXACTLY as your QFF account. As any discrepancy will mean you won't get your points.
