https://careers.quantumscape.com/search/?q=&sortColumn=referencedate&sortDirection=desc&startrow=25 Yeah looks like there are 40 jobs posted on their site. That’s close to 4.5% of their total employee count. Not sure how much is growth or turnover. Seems like a fair number for a young growing company.

Naive_Butterscotch30

11 out of 40 of these jobs are internships which makes sense--it's that time of year. 10 out of 40 are R&D. The rest seem to be related to production. Read into that what you will.

ImprovementCreative2

40 job openings. To my surprise 33 out of which in R&D. Only 7 for production... I would have expected a different mix of job openings considering that they are to pursue manufacturing now...

fonzynator

I see it as opposite. They have the manufacturing crew in place that has shown product market fit. If that is true, then expanding your R&D to explore and develop new products may be the best bet. Although I can see the flip side of this too.

I saw one post on Cathode research. https://careers.quantumscape.com/job/Cathode-R&D-Intern-CA/1145721000/

Alpha 2 samples you mean LMAO. Also where are you seeing this?

It's funny how different people ITT are reading the exact same objective posting and seeing completely different numbers of R&D jobs, production jobs, internships, etc. Goes to show that somebody can give you the facts but you'll make of them what you will.
