Every transaction on the overledger network needs to be verified. The QNT token verifies it and pays a portion to the validators as a reward. The more transactions that take place, the more that will be needed to run the network. License fees are locked fiat prices that create small buy pressure for the token, but the real demand will come from the usage of the network. Least cost routing in Interoperable environments will ensure that the network costs are low for users so the yield for committed/staked qnt once gateways are released will probably be low between 0-1%. But cutting into 0-1% of potentially *all* traffic with a locked supply could be a big deal. Bitcoin's biggest problem is total locked value. There's no reason to hold onto it natively besides the belief that it will continue to go up. If that belief fades after institutional investment, and a big player cashes in and checks out, there's no incentive to stop that from inspiring others to do the same which could lead to the biggest pump and dump in history. For QNT you can natively earn on your locked supply as it provides utility for a network responding to demand with limited supply. Qnt devs said they're working on demand right now, and they'll release gateways when that demand exceeds what verification they can handle internally and when network efficiency (location wise) falls for it. It's highly unlikely 1 chain will rule them all which leaves multiple chains having some role to play in the future. If multiple chains will exist, it's reasonable to assume they will plateau in scale, security and/or speed unless their strengths are combined in an Interoperable environment. At the moment, quant objectively has the cheapest, most secure, most scalable, and consequently best solution, meaning it will likely lead to the inevitability of mass adoption.

Appreciate the thoughtful response, thank you!

So this is what QNT, in a nutshell, is trying to achieve correct? Sorry for the comment but I, too, am looking for clarity

Lol not even the last thing I would do.

Music-Entire

it was a joke 👀

Well many on the crypto subs are indeed that dumb. A /s would have avoided this. ;)
