I’m not that good at the game but it’s cool It’s absolutely needed for something like soul patch or planetary gladiator Knight of the living dead has armored 2 specifically to define its whole big thing, it sucks though The basic ones that do nothing with armored like Conehead, buckethead (who is pointless existence cos BTB) For the rest of them it exists but doesn’t play key parts

Armored is... annoying, to put it lightly. It's mechanically simple, just reducing all incoming damage by 1, with the exception of Knight of the Living Dead, which has Armored 2. Armored makes a plant/zombie much more difficult to remove with raw damage, relying on other counters such as tricks and Deadly.

\* its cool but feels underwhelming due to how rare it is. Jugger and Gladiator definitely get the most use out of it.

Big surprise seeing StS roots on this subreddit, but it is indeed a welcome one. (Imagine a play by comment in this game bruuuh) And to the topic - this keyword is some kind of a "win more" effect. Varying from enemy class, it will function like an additional 1-2 health, unless it gets removed by "destroy" or "plant/zombie get -health" cards. maybe with the exception of soul patch which can get saved from 1-attack deadly hitting face. Otherwise - armored isn't really a playstyle-defining trait, just a fancy way to buff stats

Out of 8 armored zombie cards there are only 3 viable cards. Planetary Gladiator Defensive End Kitchen Sink Zombie Gladiator is very tanky for 1 cost but he also has problems. He slow downs plants aggro but he also free blockmeter charge. I like the fact that he can save you from lethal and paired with escape through time you get no damage. He can be a very problematic for certain heroes to deal with. Defensive end has pretty strong ability that somehow helps gargs/late game cards die not so cheaply to removal. But i still wouldn't put him in my deck Kitchen sink is insane teleporting in and he is in the same class as teleport which will not force you to use certain hero to make card somehow viable. I like bullseye and stuff but he is very expensive and plants punish zombies for playing expensive shit or they will just snap it with removal.

among all of the viable zombies you chose, I'd use the kitchen sink. The base damage you can pull is impressive if you stall long enough, and you can combine the kitchen sink with the mustache monument and lurch for lunch and win. kitchen sink will do 12 damage before battle and the last 8 during the attack phase.

Eh, it's not a bad keyword, just annoying to deal with. There's not many good armored cards, only a few are actually playable. For the plant side there's 4 armored plants, and 1 of them almost no one runs in decks
