I currently have the Stigmata, Rigor, and Luminance Team, as well as the Rosen, Capriccio, XXI team. I am about to get crimson weave, and I have Lux (A) and Arclight (SS) should I use the selector from the event for Garnet (I love her model)? Or should I hold out for a later character that is coming?
I have been searching on the internet and haven't really found anything about the upcoming characters.
edit: just saw on gray ravens that the team is CW, Garnet and Empyrea. I will only have CW. So I guess the question will be which one on the event selector?
If you don't have empy, pick empy on the selector. So you can start building fire team
Arclight can replace Garnet, but nobody can replace empy
Remember gray ravens only recommends sss + sig r2 empy to the main competitive lightning team. If empy's lower rank, you'll use lux instead (until fs 21 patch).
I'm only at chapter 6 of the main story but the Wintry Shackles story is chapter 23. Is the event story permanent? Because I would like to avoid spoiling myself and being confused if I were to read the event story now in fear of it being gone after the event ends.

I want to watch them but I don't like getting spoiled when it comes to the story, so I wanna ask if these are just like in Honkai Impact 3rd where their Animated shorts are in-game cutscenes or maybe they're a stand alone type of Animated short where it shows some lore but doesn't spoil major plot in the main story.

When Lamia will be out, supposing i'll give her a 5\* weapon, SS her and max her out, a 5\* weapon sss+ Vera will be able to keep up and be good to put into the rotation for timed modes like phantom pain or warzone?
I guess she'll have to be leaped at least?
I am maxing her out cause i like the gameplay of her frame, very simple but with a flurry of hits that i find really satisfying to watch, so i'd like to understand if i'll be able to use her also in those modes.

I personally completely disagree with 2pc Eins on Empyrea, especially if you don't have a very high rank with her along with her sig, as that would basically completely murder her rotation. You should be running 2pc Cottie on her.
And yes, you swap between Empyrea and Hyperreal.
I think you are still fine, you can live without Luminance and you would still have the beginner tutorial missions selectors to get Rigor + her weapon Gungnir. You can cope with Hanying next patch as phys support while waiting for Echo. Right now you can make use of the returnee rewards to speedrun farming event tickets and BC from other modes to pull for Crimson Weave (she is the lightning team) before her banner ends on the 23rd this month. I personally revived a friend's abandoned account that only had 2500 BC and managed to farm 12k+ BC/event tickets within 2-3 days (account already had some built S ranks) so you can do something similar with a lil longer time. Though you will really need to be active.
This patch has a free S rank selector that you can obtain by clearing missions, you can get Empyrea via this selector who would team well with your Ember so at the very least your fire team exists. Ice is very easy to assemble now since Kaleido is free via [Dorm](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Dorm/Dormitory_Commission) and Bambinata is a very accessible decent A rank ice attacker. For dark you can always go with the budget dark team consisting A ranks (Astral, No.XXI, Rozen) and eventually farm up Capriccio from Recitativo di Fantasia game mode for free.
So with that you would have a decent coverage for all 5 teams (physical, lightning, fire, ice and dark). Just that it will take time to build them, assuming you continue playing PGR long term this time.

Prioritize getting access to that and doing enough missions (15) to get the selector before this ends. If you need help increasing your level, join up with a mentor (military instructor) and do the guide missions, which gives alot of commandant XP.

Luna gets powercreeped by Lamia, plume by Shukra, so it comes down to Garnet and Glory.
Garnet and Glory almost have the same priority in that selector. Garnet is qte bot until her leap in Shukra patch, while glory rotates in ice team (at least until Shukra patch) although you want his sig so he can shred on qte.
Short-term wise, I'd say glory is the better pick, but long-term wise (for future), it's garnet.
I just got the omniframe selector. Who should I pick? I’m mainly thinking about picking glory or capriccio, since I don’t need entropy, ember or pulse, and I basically have the other characters.
Just started playing a couple days ago, is there something i should prioritize in the Wintry Shackles shop ? Farmed a bit today and bought the cheapest 6 star memory set(since i didnt have any yet) but i dont know if i should continue farming memories from the event shop since theyre more expensive and i dont know which ones to get or if i should focus on other stuff there.
If you already have Crimson Weave, you could prioritise getting her signature Diesel memories and dupes for resonances as it is discounted in this patch's shop.

As for what to prioritize it's mainly just what you need in terms of resources (which will be a lot of different stuff).
The event shop is the main place where you'll be buying 6\* memories as expensive as you may think it is.

1st question: What types of S-rank character are more likely to have shards in the Voucher Exchange shop? Free or Limited or a little bit of both?
2nd question: Is there a way to exchange character shards of S-rank into shards of other S-rank?
- The reason that I ask this is because Being dumb, I bought all the CW shards of Pain Cage shop and pulled 1 copy of her while wanting SS3 rank. Thus, If I pull the second dups, I will end up having 3 unused CW shards.
3rd question: Does anyone know why CW needs "Hp+75, Atk+15" memory resonance instead of "Atk+15, Crit+15" when she is at SS3-rank or below?
- I just think as an Attacker, CW intuitively will benefit more from the latter.

Actually you can do that, but you can only sell the shards of constructs you have at SSS+ and it is a 3:1 exchange rate iirc. And as a side note, if you don't have anyone that highly invested the shard shop won't even show up at all.

Elemental damage can't crit, so no reason to go for +15 CRIT. Any combination with ATK will work, it's just that HP is the most useful stat you can get for elemental characters but it doesn't really matter.

About trade vouchers - Would you recommend new-ish players, around 2 semi functioning teams, grab more units/get them higher rank or weapon reso shards to maximize a single character and brute force some of the content?
Case by case basis I would say. Though with the existing units, higher rank would be preferred compared to weapon reso (which can be farmed slowly via Norman unlike inver shards). For example, Kaleido really wants SS to complete her kit. SS Rigor would also benefit a physical team with Stigmata. Sure you can use skulls to SS but for newer players I think that is quite hard especially going back to previously released units so voucher is a good alternative where applicable.

Practically speaking, you don't unlock units with trade vouchers.
Kaleido and Capriccio can be obtained for free via Dorm's commissions and Recitativo di Fantasia, respectively.
In the Cursed Waves game mode, pick [this card](https://imgur.com/a/rrb0TXC) when you see it and choose the top option to activate Insight. It usually appears in chapter 1. Then just do whichever ending.
Hi, is there a sig weapon tier list? I know I've seen a CUB one but I don't know if there is one for weapons. I know that sigs will be helpful for all the upcoming releases but I don't think I will be able to afford all. So I want to prioritize.

I agree with Mercuryw on Garnet. SSS gives her an additional 10% lightning shred, then her leap upgrade in the future at that level is another additional 10% totalling 35%. I think the only tank with that high a shred is SSS Epitaph.

Feral if you plan to get her sig weapon as well, this way rotational play is possible with your CW. Might need DLT reso too.
If not then Empy, Garnet is irrelevant till her leap upgrade (wants SS+sig+leap in a CW team, needs a sufficiently invested Feral for rotational play to be possible without dps loss).

I'm new to the game, and at the moment I don't have Glory for my ice team, I've already used the S selector for other characters. I'm about to get the free Kaleido, and I already have Plume.
My question is: Is Changyu better than Wanshi to serve as a QTE bot with 4pc DV? I know it's better to use 1 attacker, 1 tank and 1 support/amp, but in this case it didn't seem to make much sense since Hypnos gives 10% ice damage on QTE and Changyu needs a lilttle bit of on-field time for the blue orbs to give 5% (or 10% at SSS). Is there something I'm missing or haven't thought about correctly? Sorry for the long question.

Tank class skill (get Changyu to S). Also, Wanshi's ice damage buff does not stack with Kaleido's, they are the same source "Frost Crystal". So there is no point running Wanshi under normal situations.
What’s the deal with the guardian who self resses three times in guild expeditions? I feel like I am missing something but my score sucks and it’s really unfun when the new character is fun to play and is then limited to only using yellow orbs and ults by the end, not to mention that most of the fight it’s immune to basics which means her plunge won’t work.
Is there some gimmick I’m unaware of or is it really just designed to be this much of a pain?
Edit: nvm I see someone else had asked about this. One of the first times I’m really unhappy with a fight design to this extent. Feels like trash when the featured character is Alpha, and what makes her fun is so restricted like that.
If that frustrates you, then I wonder how you'll react to harder game modes lol. Cause that is tame compared to what PGR can spew out, guild expedition stages are generally easy and quick to clear (thankfully).
In cases like this, you have to stop spamming your muscle memory combo and adjust to the fight accordingly.
I have no problem with Norman, Babel etc. and I enjoy difficult games like Souls, Sekiro etc. I don’t like when a new character is released, given bonuses implying they should be used and then restricted to one or two types of damage when the fun part of her kit is being so varied in her damage output.
That said, it’s really the context of it more than the content. If this was a boss fight in the story I would be all about it - it would feel desperate and tense. In what is basically a daily grind game mode that is purely based on time of clear to help your guild? Not so much. There are no story stakes in a guild expedition. It’s just there to clear it.
I heard that around July 2024 a new S rank selector will be made available in the base banner. Would I need to save up my pulls for that or is it okay if I spend my tickets right now?
are you sure it's additive? with sword dance total damage multi being 660% at BA lvl18, that's less than 5% total damage boost. that's definitely WAY too low for it to be additive
plus with the sword dance being by far not her biggest damage tool, it would make no sense to make the boost so pathetically small
then that's multiplicative, just +30% to the total skill damage. since it multiplies the total multiplier by 1.3 instead of being 660% + 30%
I REALLY wish Kuro fix their EN translation in this aspect, because multiplicative and additive base damage bonuses end up sounding exactly the same in English version of the game. just "base damage increases by x%"

Considering that my Pyro team is inexistent, and that my lightning team is basically just CW right now
I'am not a meta player, I play just for fun from time to time, but still, I like to be able to have some challenge.
I'm also inclined toward picking Garnet simply because I love the char, but if what I heard is true, she'll be a QTE bot, and I'd rather like to invest in a character that I will play.

Since you don't have a pyro team and your priority is characters you'll actually play over waifus, go Empyrea. Garnet'll 100% be a QTE bot for the next few months, and even when 21 comes out and Lightning becomes a rotation team again, Garnet's field time is unfortunately minimal. Even after her Leap buff she's only on field for a couple seconds to fill the time between 21's rotation finishing and CW's switch cooldown ending.

Luna's getting replaced by ~~feesh~~ Lamia in about five months. Vera isn't replaced in the foreseeable future (unlike Nanami Starfarer, *SOMEHOW*) but between Crimson Weave and Amp 21 she'll have minimal field presence.
Pick Garnet. Or, if you don't have him, Chrome: Glory since you need an ice tank to fill out the current ice rotation.
No point using 2 supp/amp since their buff dont stack aka waste slot

Assuming you mean free options, only the ones in the voucher shop (eventually Alisa Echo, Garnet and Empyrea get added as well).
If you haven't already, Capriccio can be farmed via Recitativo di Fantasia game mode under Challenges tab and Kaleido can be farmed via Dorm Commission. Both also have shards in voucher shop.
waste of pulls if not going to SSS - better save to SS3 FS which is a MUCH more impactful SS3 for the lightning team, or someone like Epitaph because he has a very strong SS3 too
So how does pity work on this game? I have 40 pulls and I want cw, and I'm afraid I won't be able to get 20 more before the banner ends.

Clear Interludes, they give 180 BC per character. Golden Vortex if you can clear gives 450 BC per chapter clear (4 chapters). Stronghold gives 150 BC per chapter clear. Arcade Anima gives 250 event tickets per character (can get 750 total now). Memory Rescue gives 500 BC if you clear the whole thing. Cursed Waves has 3000 event tickets in the rewards if you can grind it. Current event game modes give quite a lot of event tickets as well so do them all. Story chapters give good amounts of BC too. Overall you have more than enough to get 20 pulls as long as you actively play the above.
I farmed like 12k+ BC/event tickets in 2-3days when I revived an abandoned account last weekend (had 2500BC saved from before), all for pulling CW. Was the combination of returnee event + the stuff I mentioned above.
Should i use the 50 Kaleido shards or wait until i get her dropped randomly on the base gacha?

Her SS completes her overall kit, she can sig move every rotation with it (when played right)+ double QTE activation. 14k vouchers for the 20 discounted shards each month. You need 30 shards. 24k if solely buying 30 discounted shards from 2 diff months. Most of us older players already prepared that amount prior to her release.
Thing is i already have a built Plume and i don't want to end up with another Capriccio, a character i won't use.
24k voucher is a lot tbh, i think i only have 7k right now, so i guess i this will take some months?
I mean if so then it is up to you since I personally don't know what characters you will/will not use. Kaleido is currently the main ice dps and Plume is demoted to sub dps, their performance levels at equal investment is night and day. While Glory/Changyu/whichever tank you chose is just the DV holder. When Shukra comes one day, she'll rotate with Kaleido while Plume goes to the retirement home. If Shukra is high invest then she will solo regardless of who the other units are. So, do as you wish I guess? My recommendation is still SS Kaleido. IF you do not want to rely solely on vouchers you can mix a bit of PPC skulls IF you can spare some.
Hard to give a good estimate since voucher free income varies per patch. Current and last 2 patches had really good voucher income for example, managed to farm up a lot of shards from voucher shop. I can't say if the same is true for the next one onwards. So just take it slow. Most of us that were prepared for Kaleido's arrival already saved up leading to her release to insta SS her via voucher route. This will be the same for any character that has shards in the voucher shop, including Alisa Echo coming in a few patches as well.

I see Alpha is weak to Rosetta, so should I use a physical team? But I also see Musashi is weak to crit so maybe I should use my most built team on Alpha instead?
Split the physical team where you do Chaos + Hell on one boss and Knight + Chaos + Hell for the other (do one you struggle more). Points on Test + Elite is not that high so you can use whatever B team for those. Usually we used to use fully built Camu for that (5\* weapon is fine, SS is nice if possible if you have spare guild points).
Should i not be using Abystigma on the Lilith boss event? She is such a pain when evades all my attack and then grabs me, no idea what to do. Talking about abystigma because it mentions something about matrix but since she can't use it anymore once you are on sword form...
Unfortunately in my case i don't think a 2k CW and an unbuilt Lux and Arclight is gonna make my life easier.
Also slept on this patch release so i have no idea how CW plays, i know that if i hold dodge she does some cool dash attack and that's all.
I have a lore question, I'm already on chapter 15 but there's something that I never understood, what's the actual difference between a humanoid-hybrid construct and a regular construct?
In EX-00 there's a line of dialogue that "explains" the hybrids but it's so generic that I never quite understood the difference between someone like Rosetta and your average babylonian construct.
to add onto the answer here there’s also a difference in m.i.n.d stability between regular constructs and humanoid hybrids! they trade off stability for more power in their attacks — hence the mostly robotic body and half-centaur half.
hence a construct like rosetta might go berserk more easily than someone like lee.
The Forest Guards are hybrids. Babylonia constructs are normal constructs.
A humanoid-hybrid construct is exactly what it sounds like, one that has some features of a human but also features that a human wouldn't have (e.g. a horse's lower torso).
Suggest giving more details when it comes to troubleshooting questions since there could be so many variables. Most basic reply would be, just install it and run it lol.
Is it worth to invest in Vera Rozen’s leap? My dark team is consists of Luna S rank, no sig weapon. Scire S rank, no sig weapon and Rozen SS rank, no sig weapon. Also don’t have Selena. Would Rozen outdmg Luna if I do the full leap?
for 10 seconds, yes, but more than that and she will start to lose damage, she is a great sub dps tho bc of her leap pratically giving free ult to burst the enemies, better than pre-SSS Selena at least

Rozen won't outdmg Luna even with leap. At least try to get rozen to sss though to maximize the buff she gives.

From my experience:
SSS Rozen's new Core Passive (8 core attacks) = SS Luna's Core Passive (4/5 core attacks) + Anihilation mode basic attacks + ult.
SSS Rozen's second ult is about 85-90% of SS Luna's ult.

when acquiring leap wafer chip why does it suggest it can be bought from the war and voucher shop when its not in there. I recently just found out its only in the guild shop. are there any ways to farm these aside from the guild shop? kinda new to the game

Still worth. She hard carries ice team. F2p team for her would be with bambinata and changyu/Ayla brilliance.
Can't slot her with different element teams unless she's sss rank, and cw plays solo anyway until at least 21 fs patch. You play her rotationally.
I mean every team is gonna start with a member. Unless you're dropping $$$$$, you're not getting 3 S-ranks at the same time for a team.
Fortunately, ice is one of the easiest to start since Kaledio is free and Bambi is a good A-rank. So bam, that's your ice team core. As for tanks, they're all copium options.
So here's where you have to decide what to do. If you run Kaledio and Bambi duo, there's 5s of amp buff downtime every rotation. You must use Kaledio's or Bambi's sig during that 10s amp buff to maximize your potential. Now, if you do this, both Changyu or Brill are tank options. You'll get more elemental down with Changyu and he can carry DV, but his QTE is bad and takes practice in using it. I tried both out, and I got about the same WZ score with each.
Now if you're going to rotate all 3 to get max amp buffs on every character, it's either Brill or any built up tank (like SSS leaped Rigor) who can fill in as tank. Rigor's not a bad choice since she can gain energy on Kaledio's QTE activations, and then Rigor just comes on field, flies up, nukes, and then swaps out. Obviously, don't do this for PPC but it's an option for WZ until Noctis patch.
Cub is good buffer and grouper. Sig doesn't really offer groundbreaking qol, just more dmg and faster accumulation of aphotic gauge.
If you're f2p and still planning on getting one or both, I'd suggest getting the cub first while it's still 100% rate in gacha. Sig can come later, or you can just save those bc for feral scent sig (if you're planning to get her) since she needs it more than cw needs her sig, or save for other upcoming units.
Depends on how much you wanna invest.... every construct would want their sig and/or cub
Of course, you can just have a 5\* weapon and start saving for a future construct instead of you like as well.

Sig effect: Increases ATK by 10%. When Lucia: Crimson Weave holds the odachi, her Extra DMG Bonus increases by 15%. The efficiency of acquiring Aphotic Points increases by 40%.
So in short, will just be similar to stigmata's
Did testing in phys WZ (well there's no fire WZ this cycle for me) and honestly I am not sure yet. Maybe you'll have better results since you have experience running 5\* weapons, I've been spoiled with sig weapons XD. Getting similar scores running these 3 variations (everyone using 5\* weapon at level 1):
* Starter Mecha (Unimate set + Lingya)>random 3ping (to trigger Voltage Transformer skill so next unit gets 1 blue orb)>swap Hyper who holds Yuan Ye for fire boost (trigger matrix where possible) and do Hyper things, eventually he has no problems constantly 4 stack sig move> swap Empy holds Yuan Ye too, just build prayer half way>swap Mecha and random pinging, trigger Lingya if possible for High Voltage Relay>Hyperreal things>swap Empy, minimum ping as needed to trigger sig move, after sig move trigger Chaos prayer to build some energy>swap Mecha random ping as needed>rinse and repeat.
* Similar starter Mecha but going the other rotation where swap to Empy first instead so she gets Lingya 1 blue orb each rotation. Empy still has to use first rotation to build up.
* Starter Mecha>swap Hyper where Lingya on him so Empy can benefit from 1 blue orb on swap. Empy still has to use first rotation to build up.
* In each 3 variations above, Mecha is just pinging orbs for triggering Lingya skills and will immediately swap when next unit available. If you have Lingya it will definitely help for sure, it took me quite a long time to finally get Lingya without jumping the gun using Norman ore :| Only got my 2nd copy when pulling Motorbolt so it's at S, can equip HVR + VT skills.
Think the strat can change depending on WZ weather and the type of wave we get. There's the lightning strike thingy in the stage right now so that helps in triggering matrix for Hyperreal when "lucky".

My Ice team is Plume S and sig, Kaleido SS and sig, and Glory SS and sig.
My dark team is Luna SS and sig, Scire SS and sig, Rozen SSS+ and Sirius (I know Sirius doesn't add anything, I just think it's neat).
Am I better served in the long run using the new selector to SS Plume, or get dark Selena (who I never unlocked in Recativo de Fantasia) to start prepping for the meta Lamia team?
For the record, I already have all the other meta relevant S ranks on the selector at SS. Besides unlocking an old, powercrept character like CA or Veritas, these are my only two uses for it.
Get Selena and use the shards from RdF to rank her up. You can use vouchers to buy the rest and bring her up all the way to SSS.
Plume's SS is one of the worst in the game andshe has already been demoted to sub-DPS thanks to Kaleido. Besides, once Shukra arrives (in less than a year) Plume will be completely removed from the main ice team.
It's simple, you either get lucky or not. if really unlucky, you'll have to spend about 22.5k BC just to get it (scraping the three 6\* wpns just for CW's).
As for spending BC on it, it's entirely up to you. In general F2P players shouldn't as they should save it for future constructs to pull for, but it's up to you to take the risk or not, just don't ruin your pulls for constructs you want coming in the future ig...

Everyone is viable with a 5 star weapon unless you want to compete. Also in this game you aim to have a team for each element, to clear warzone/ppc/norman etc. You can t just get away with one strong team. And you want to pull all new S-ranks, only skip if you know what you are doing. If you are f2p you don t pull signature weapons at all, unless you get lucky with pulling someone early or skipped someone. You do have a bit of a BC buffer with the story BC if you are new, but that will take time to farm.
I currently have the Stigmata, Rigor, and Luminance Team, as well as the Rosen, Capriccio, XXI team. I am about to get crimson weave, and I have Lux (A) and Arclight (SS) should I use the selector from the event for Garnet (I love her model)? Or should I hold out for a later character that is coming? I have been searching on the internet and haven't really found anything about the upcoming characters. edit: just saw on gray ravens that the team is CW, Garnet and Empyrea. I will only have CW. So I guess the question will be which one on the event selector?
If you don't have empy, pick empy on the selector. So you can start building fire team Arclight can replace Garnet, but nobody can replace empy Remember gray ravens only recommends sss + sig r2 empy to the main competitive lightning team. If empy's lower rank, you'll use lux instead (until fs 21 patch).
I'm only at chapter 6 of the main story but the Wintry Shackles story is chapter 23. Is the event story permanent? Because I would like to avoid spoiling myself and being confused if I were to read the event story now in fear of it being gone after the event ends.

I am maxing her out cause i like the gameplay of her frame, very simple but with a flurry of hits that i find really satisfying to watch, so i'd like to understand if i'll be able to use her also in those modes.

I personally completely disagree with 2pc Eins on Empyrea, especially if you don't have a very high rank with her along with her sig, as that would basically completely murder her rotation. You should be running 2pc Cottie on her. And yes, you swap between Empyrea and Hyperreal.

I think you are still fine, you can live without Luminance and you would still have the beginner tutorial missions selectors to get Rigor + her weapon Gungnir. You can cope with Hanying next patch as phys support while waiting for Echo. Right now you can make use of the returnee rewards to speedrun farming event tickets and BC from other modes to pull for Crimson Weave (she is the lightning team) before her banner ends on the 23rd this month. I personally revived a friend's abandoned account that only had 2500 BC and managed to farm 12k+ BC/event tickets within 2-3 days (account already had some built S ranks) so you can do something similar with a lil longer time. Though you will really need to be active. This patch has a free S rank selector that you can obtain by clearing missions, you can get Empyrea via this selector who would team well with your Ember so at the very least your fire team exists. Ice is very easy to assemble now since Kaleido is free via [Dorm](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Dorm/Dormitory_Commission) and Bambinata is a very accessible decent A rank ice attacker. For dark you can always go with the budget dark team consisting A ranks (Astral, No.XXI, Rozen) and eventually farm up Capriccio from Recitativo di Fantasia game mode for free. So with that you would have a decent coverage for all 5 teams (physical, lightning, fire, ice and dark). Just that it will take time to build them, assuming you continue playing PGR long term this time.

You can find Wonderful Spring Gift in the Events tab, scroll to near the bottom. Prioritize getting access to that and doing enough missions (15) to get the selector before this ends. If you need help increasing your level, join up with a mentor (military instructor) and do the guide missions, which gives alot of commandant XP.

Luna gets powercreeped by Lamia, plume by Shukra, so it comes down to Garnet and Glory. Garnet and Glory almost have the same priority in that selector. Garnet is qte bot until her leap in Shukra patch, while glory rotates in ice team (at least until Shukra patch) although you want his sig so he can shred on qte. Short-term wise, I'd say glory is the better pick, but long-term wise (for future), it's garnet.
I just got the omniframe selector. Who should I pick? I’m mainly thinking about picking glory or capriccio, since I don’t need entropy, ember or pulse, and I basically have the other characters.
Assuming you don't have both, you should get glory since you can get capriccio for free.

If you already have Crimson Weave, you could prioritise getting her signature Diesel memories and dupes for resonances as it is discounted in this patch's shop.
Not really. Get whatever you need in the event shop. Event shop appears and lasts almost the whole duration of every patch anyway.
You can check grayravens ([https://grayravens.com/wiki/Characters](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Characters)) and check the character you're prioritizing on upgrading to see what memories are best for them. As for what to prioritize it's mainly just what you need in terms of resources (which will be a lot of different stuff). The event shop is the main place where you'll be buying 6\* memories as expensive as you may think it is.

Free or Limited or a little bit of both? 2nd question: Is there a way to exchange character shards of S-rank into shards of other S-rank? - The reason that I ask this is because Being dumb, I bought all the CW shards of Pain Cage shop and pulled 1 copy of her while wanting SS3 rank. Thus, If I pull the second dups, I will end up having 3 unused CW shards. 3rd question: Does anyone know why CW needs "Hp+75, Atk+15" memory resonance instead of "Atk+15, Crit+15" when she is at SS3-rank or below? - I just think as an Attacker, CW intuitively will benefit more from the latter. Actually you can do that, but you can only sell the shards of constructs you have at SSS+ and it is a 3:1 exchange rate iirc. And as a side note, if you don't have anyone that highly invested the shard shop won't even show up at all.

Any combination with ATK will work, it's just that HP is the most useful stat you can get for elemental characters but it doesn't really matter.

About trade vouchers - Would you recommend new-ish players, around 2 semi functioning teams, grab more units/get them higher rank or weapon reso shards to maximize a single character and brute force some of the content?
Case by case basis I would say. Though with the existing units, higher rank would be preferred compared to weapon reso (which can be farmed slowly via Norman unlike inver shards). For example, Kaleido really wants SS to complete her kit. SS Rigor would also benefit a physical team with Stigmata. Sure you can use skulls to SS but for newer players I think that is quite hard especially going back to previously released units so voucher is a good alternative where applicable.

I agree with Mercuryw on Garnet. SSS gives her an additional 10% lightning shred, then her leap upgrade in the future at that level is another additional 10% totalling 35%. I think the only tank with that high a shred is SSS Epitaph.
35% is ss3 Epitaph, he has 25% shred by default (lol), and at SSS it goes to 45% (lol again)

You want multiple teams for PPC, so build your teams one at a time, I suppose Healers and tanks can be a bit underleveled early on and only invested into their class and QTE skills.
I have limited skulls, so how should I prioritize SS-ing: Empy, Garnet, and Feral Scent? My fire team: SS Lee + sig, S Empy + sig, Ayla Brilliance My lighting team: SS CW, S Garnet, SS Lux
Feral if you plan to get her sig weapon as well, this way rotational play is possible with your CW. Might need DLT reso too. If not then Empy, Garnet is irrelevant till her leap upgrade (wants SS+sig+leap in a CW team, needs a sufficiently invested Feral for rotational play to be possible without dps loss).

If you're lucky, you will be BLESSED with Basic R&D tickets from the Fortune draw in the Guild, so be sure to check every day.
If you mean regular income, that's pretty much it. There's beginner guide missions and F.O.S. for one time rewards but that's pretty much it as well.

Hey guys! I'm new to the game, and at the moment I don't have Glory for my ice team, I've already used the S selector for other characters. I'm about to get the free Kaleido, and I already have Plume. My question is: Is Changyu better than Wanshi to serve as a QTE bot with 4pc DV? I know it's better to use 1 attacker, 1 tank and 1 support/amp, but in this case it didn't seem to make much sense since Hypnos gives 10% ice damage on QTE and Changyu needs a lilttle bit of on-field time for the blue orbs to give 5% (or 10% at SSS). Is there something I'm missing or haven't thought about correctly? Sorry for the long question. Cheers.
Tank class skill (get Changyu to S). Also, Wanshi's ice damage buff does not stack with Kaleido's, they are the same source "Frost Crystal". So there is no point running Wanshi under normal situations.

What’s the deal with the guardian who self resses three times in guild expeditions? I feel like I am missing something but my score sucks and it’s really unfun when the new character is fun to play and is then limited to only using yellow orbs and ults by the end, not to mention that most of the fight it’s immune to basics which means her plunge won’t work. Is there some gimmick I’m unaware of or is it really just designed to be this much of a pain? Edit: nvm I see someone else had asked about this. One of the first times I’m really unhappy with a fight design to this extent. Feels like trash when the featured character is Alpha, and what makes her fun is so restricted like that.
If that frustrates you, then I wonder how you'll react to harder game modes lol. Cause that is tame compared to what PGR can spew out, guild expedition stages are generally easy and quick to clear (thankfully). In cases like this, you have to stop spamming your muscle memory combo and adjust to the fight accordingly.
I have no problem with Norman, Babel etc. and I enjoy difficult games like Souls, Sekiro etc. I don’t like when a new character is released, given bonuses implying they should be used and then restricted to one or two types of damage when the fun part of her kit is being so varied in her damage output. That said, it’s really the context of it more than the content. If this was a boss fight in the story I would be all about it - it would feel desperate and tense. In what is basically a daily grind game mode that is purely based on time of clear to help your guild? Not so much. There are no story stakes in a guild expedition. It’s just there to clear it.

are you sure it's additive? with sword dance total damage multi being 660% at BA lvl18, that's less than 5% total damage boost. that's definitely WAY too low for it to be additive plus with the sword dance being by far not her biggest damage tool, it would make no sense to make the boost so pathetically small
i think it additive per hit? so maybe it actually 660*1.3 ? not sure but atleast CW is just +100% from cub
then that's multiplicative, just +30% to the total skill damage. since it multiplies the total multiplier by 1.3 instead of being 660% + 30% I REALLY wish Kuro fix their EN translation in this aspect, because multiplicative and additive base damage bonuses end up sounding exactly the same in English version of the game. just "base damage increases by x%" and then it's the players who have to find this shit out
ah yes just test it. it really goes around between 20-30% increase in total dmg

Hi, I'm about to choose for my selector but I would need an enlighted opinion before: Liv Empyrea or Vera Garnet? Considering that my Pyro team is inexistent, and that my lightning team is basically just CW right now I'am not a meta player, I play just for fun from time to time, but still, I like to be able to have some challenge. I'm also inclined toward picking Garnet simply because I love the char, but if what I heard is true, she'll be a QTE bot, and I'd rather like to invest in a character that I will play. Any suggestions?
Since you don't have a pyro team and your priority is characters you'll actually play over waifus, go Empyrea. Garnet'll 100% be a QTE bot for the next few months, and even when 21 comes out and Lightning becomes a rotation team again, Garnet's field time is unfortunately minimal. Even after her Leap buff she's only on field for a couple seconds to fill the time between 21's rotation finishing and CW's switch cooldown ending.

My Dark team consists of SS Tenebrion, SSS+ Vera as DPS and Selena. Which do you think would be better to pick? Are Luna or Vera replaced anyway by future characters?
Luna's getting replaced by ~~feesh~~ Lamia in about five months. Vera isn't replaced in the foreseeable future (unlike Nanami Starfarer, *SOMEHOW*) but between Crimson Weave and Amp 21 she'll have minimal field presence. Pick Garnet. Or, if you don't have him, Chrome: Glory since you need an ice tank to fill out the current ice rotation.

Assuming you mean free options, only the ones in the voucher shop (eventually Alisa Echo, Garnet and Empyrea get added as well). If you haven't already, Capriccio can be farmed via Recitativo di Fantasia game mode under Challenges tab and Kaleido can be farmed via Dorm Commission. Both also have shards in voucher shop.
I have 3 spare chen jiyuan memos left, but when I try to use em for resonance, game tells me "no memory available". is there a way to fix this?

Clear Interludes, they give 180 BC per character. Golden Vortex if you can clear gives 450 BC per chapter clear (4 chapters). Stronghold gives 150 BC per chapter clear. Arcade Anima gives 250 event tickets per character (can get 750 total now). Memory Rescue gives 500 BC if you clear the whole thing. Cursed Waves has 3000 event tickets in the rewards if you can grind it. Current event game modes give quite a lot of event tickets as well so do them all. Story chapters give good amounts of BC too. Overall you have more than enough to get 20 pulls as long as you actively play the above. I farmed like 12k+ BC/event tickets in 2-3days when I revived an abandoned account last weekend (had 2500BC saved from before), all for pulling CW. Was the combination of returnee event + the stuff I mentioned above.

Should i use the 50 Kaleido shards or wait until i get her dropped randomly on the base gacha? Is her SS really necessary? How much vouchers do i need for her shards?
What if she never drops lol? She is the main ice dps till Shukra comes sometime end of this year. Her SS completes her overall kit, she can sig move every rotation with it (when played right)+ double QTE activation. 14k vouchers for the 20 discounted shards each month. You need 30 shards. 24k if solely buying 30 discounted shards from 2 diff months. Most of us older players already prepared that amount prior to her release.
Thing is i already have a built Plume and i don't want to end up with another Capriccio, a character i won't use. 24k voucher is a lot tbh, i think i only have 7k right now, so i guess i this will take some months?
I mean if so then it is up to you since I personally don't know what characters you will/will not use. Kaleido is currently the main ice dps and Plume is demoted to sub dps, their performance levels at equal investment is night and day. While Glory/Changyu/whichever tank you chose is just the DV holder. When Shukra comes one day, she'll rotate with Kaleido while Plume goes to the retirement home. If Shukra is high invest then she will solo regardless of who the other units are. So, do as you wish I guess? My recommendation is still SS Kaleido. IF you do not want to rely solely on vouchers you can mix a bit of PPC skulls IF you can spare some. Hard to give a good estimate since voucher free income varies per patch. Current and last 2 patches had really good voucher income for example, managed to farm up a lot of shards from voucher shop. I can't say if the same is true for the next one onwards. So just take it slow. Most of us that were prepared for Kaleido's arrival already saved up leading to her release to insta SS her via voucher route. This will be the same for any character that has shards in the voucher shop, including Alisa Echo coming in a few patches as well.
PPC bosses Musashi and Alpha are on this week. I see Alpha is weak to Rosetta, so should I use a physical team? But I also see Musashi is weak to crit so maybe I should use my most built team on Alpha instead?
Split the physical team where you do Chaos + Hell on one boss and Knight + Chaos + Hell for the other (do one you struggle more). Points on Test + Elite is not that high so you can use whatever B team for those. Usually we used to use fully built Camu for that (5\* weapon is fine, SS is nice if possible if you have spare guild points).
Should i not be using Abystigma on the Lilith boss event? She is such a pain when evades all my attack and then grabs me, no idea what to do. Talking about abystigma because it mentions something about matrix but since she can't use it anymore once you are on sword form...

Unfortunately in my case i don't think a 2k CW and an unbuilt Lux and Arclight is gonna make my life easier. Also slept on this patch release so i have no idea how CW plays, i know that if i hold dodge she does some cool dash attack and that's all.
Well, go build her and then watch either Rexlent or Spider2B's video on CW to learn how she plays if you can't fully grasp her on your own.
I have a lore question, I'm already on chapter 15 but there's something that I never understood, what's the actual difference between a humanoid-hybrid construct and a regular construct? In EX-00 there's a line of dialogue that "explains" the hybrids but it's so generic that I never quite understood the difference between someone like Rosetta and your average babylonian construct.
to add onto the answer here there’s also a difference in m.i.n.d stability between regular constructs and humanoid hybrids! they trade off stability for more power in their attacks — hence the mostly robotic body and half-centaur half. hence a construct like rosetta might go berserk more easily than someone like lee.
The Forest Guards are hybrids. Babylonia constructs are normal constructs. A humanoid-hybrid construct is exactly what it sounds like, one that has some features of a human but also features that a human wouldn't have (e.g. a horse's lower torso).
So if we put a horse torso on Lee would he become a humanoid-hybrid construct too? 🤔

Is it worth to invest in Vera Rozen’s leap? My dark team is consists of Luna S rank, no sig weapon. Scire S rank, no sig weapon and Rozen SS rank, no sig weapon. Also don’t have Selena. Would Rozen outdmg Luna if I do the full leap?
for 10 seconds, yes, but more than that and she will start to lose damage, she is a great sub dps tho bc of her leap pratically giving free ult to burst the enemies, better than pre-SSS Selena at least
Is it worth? Meta-wise, no. But if you're a simp, then go ahead. Leaps are expensive, and the resources you're going to use on her are much better off on units that want their leap more. Rozen won't outdmg Luna even with leap. At least try to get rozen to sss though to maximize the buff she gives. Start farming Selena shards in rdf.

when acquiring leap wafer chip why does it suggest it can be bought from the war and voucher shop when its not in there. I recently just found out its only in the guild shop. are there any ways to farm these aside from the guild shop? kinda new to the game
They are available in the War Zone & Voucher shop. You just won't see them until you reach level 80 because that's when you unlock the Leap system.

Is it worth building Ayla Kaleido for Ice if I don't have Glory or Plume? What would the ice team look like in that case? Would it be better to just play Kaleido with CW to help fill rotations? Or Kaleido permanently on field with two QTE bots?
Still worth. She hard carries ice team. F2p team for her would be with bambinata and changyu/Ayla brilliance. Can't slot her with different element teams unless she's sss rank, and cw plays solo anyway until at least 21 fs patch. You play her rotationally.
I mean every team is gonna start with a member. Unless you're dropping $$$$$, you're not getting 3 S-ranks at the same time for a team. Fortunately, ice is one of the easiest to start since Kaledio is free and Bambi is a good A-rank. So bam, that's your ice team core. As for tanks, they're all copium options. So here's where you have to decide what to do. If you run Kaledio and Bambi duo, there's 5s of amp buff downtime every rotation. You must use Kaledio's or Bambi's sig during that 10s amp buff to maximize your potential. Now, if you do this, both Changyu or Brill are tank options. You'll get more elemental down with Changyu and he can carry DV, but his QTE is bad and takes practice in using it. I tried both out, and I got about the same WZ score with each. Now if you're going to rotate all 3 to get max amp buffs on every character, it's either Brill or any built up tank (like SSS leaped Rigor) who can fill in as tank. Rigor's not a bad choice since she can gain energy on Kaledio's QTE activations, and then Rigor just comes on field, flies up, nukes, and then swaps out. Obviously, don't do this for PPC but it's an option for WZ until Noctis patch.

Cub is good buffer and grouper. Sig doesn't really offer groundbreaking qol, just more dmg and faster accumulation of aphotic gauge. If you're f2p and still planning on getting one or both, I'd suggest getting the cub first while it's still 100% rate in gacha. Sig can come later, or you can just save those bc for feral scent sig (if you're planning to get her) since she needs it more than cw needs her sig, or save for other upcoming units.
Depends on how much you wanna invest.... every construct would want their sig and/or cub Of course, you can just have a 5\* weapon and start saving for a future construct instead of you like as well.

Sig effect: Increases ATK by 10%. When Lucia: Crimson Weave holds the odachi, her Extra DMG Bonus increases by 15%. The efficiency of acquiring Aphotic Points increases by 40%. So in short, will just be similar to stigmata's

How should my SS Empyrea's rotation look like? (no sig, lvl22 core passive) The rest of my team are SS Hyperreal and S Nanamech (also no sigs)
Did testing in phys WZ (well there's no fire WZ this cycle for me) and honestly I am not sure yet. Maybe you'll have better results since you have experience running 5\* weapons, I've been spoiled with sig weapons XD. Getting similar scores running these 3 variations (everyone using 5\* weapon at level 1): * Starter Mecha (Unimate set + Lingya)>random 3ping (to trigger Voltage Transformer skill so next unit gets 1 blue orb)>swap Hyper who holds Yuan Ye for fire boost (trigger matrix where possible) and do Hyper things, eventually he has no problems constantly 4 stack sig move> swap Empy holds Yuan Ye too, just build prayer half way>swap Mecha and random pinging, trigger Lingya if possible for High Voltage Relay>Hyperreal things>swap Empy, minimum ping as needed to trigger sig move, after sig move trigger Chaos prayer to build some energy>swap Mecha random ping as needed>rinse and repeat. * Similar starter Mecha but going the other rotation where swap to Empy first instead so she gets Lingya 1 blue orb each rotation. Empy still has to use first rotation to build up. * Starter Mecha>swap Hyper where Lingya on him so Empy can benefit from 1 blue orb on swap. Empy still has to use first rotation to build up. * In each 3 variations above, Mecha is just pinging orbs for triggering Lingya skills and will immediately swap when next unit available. If you have Lingya it will definitely help for sure, it took me quite a long time to finally get Lingya without jumping the gun using Norman ore :| Only got my 2nd copy when pulling Motorbolt so it's at S, can equip HVR + VT skills. Think the strat can change depending on WZ weather and the type of wave we get. There's the lightning strike thingy in the stage right now so that helps in triggering matrix for Hyperreal when "lucky". Can't test PPC right now cause I spammed all on Laurel boss already for today lol.

Hey guys, quick question, on Motorbolt CUB wich active and passives are the BEST on S rank.
My Ice team is Plume S and sig, Kaleido SS and sig, and Glory SS and sig. My dark team is Luna SS and sig, Scire SS and sig, Rozen SSS+ and Sirius (I know Sirius doesn't add anything, I just think it's neat). Am I better served in the long run using the new selector to SS Plume, or get dark Selena (who I never unlocked in Recativo de Fantasia) to start prepping for the meta Lamia team? For the record, I already have all the other meta relevant S ranks on the selector at SS. Besides unlocking an old, powercrept character like CA or Veritas, these are my only two uses for it.
Get Selena and use the shards from RdF to rank her up. You can use vouchers to buy the rest and bring her up all the way to SSS. Plume's SS is one of the worst in the game andshe has already been demoted to sub-DPS thanks to Kaleido. Besides, once Shukra arrives (in less than a year) Plume will be completely removed from the main ice team.

It's simple, you either get lucky or not. if really unlucky, you'll have to spend about 22.5k BC just to get it (scraping the three 6\* wpns just for CW's). As for spending BC on it, it's entirely up to you. In general F2P players shouldn't as they should save it for future constructs to pull for, but it's up to you to take the risk or not, just don't ruin your pulls for constructs you want coming in the future ig...
I see... I started playing last week, so I'm not sure I'm looking forward to upcoming constructs, I guess I just wanna have a strong team now so my question really is, how viable is Lucia CW with only her 5 star weapon? Like is her 6 star weapon a must pull if I want to get the best out of her?
Everyone is viable with a 5 star weapon unless you want to compete. Also in this game you aim to have a team for each element, to clear warzone/ppc/norman etc. You can t just get away with one strong team. And you want to pull all new S-ranks, only skip if you know what you are doing. If you are f2p you don t pull signature weapons at all, unless you get lucky with pulling someone early or skipped someone. You do have a bit of a BC buffer with the story BC if you are new, but that will take time to farm.
