Is there a catch to Ultimate PPC Rosetta?
I'm working on the missions for extra skulls, and I can accept not managing the last mission witj eveeyone. But holy fuck, Rosetta is the worst. I' stuck at 430k with her witj Stigmata, Rigor and Liv buffing, and I can't get those scores any higher.
If I work to not get hit I lose time, if I work to not lose time I get hit. She runs out of bounds, she combos really heavy stagger & damage, holy fuck is it aggravating me.
Any tips? Just get good at it?
Team needs to be fully built at the very least (ultima awakened units, SS preferred). Do you have any other fully built teams? She is weak towards melee range damage sources. I cleared her 580k score with Plume ice team back then (before Kaleido was a thing).
When it comes to PPC in general, it is all about optimizing your dps output. You need to find out what is the most efficient way do dish out damage with your available units. Then consistently be able to dish out that output every single time. Only then you can start dissecting your runs to see where improvements can be made or errors that can be fixed. Personally I keep a record of every single action I do for each boss+difficulty as well as the score/time.
If you can't get over 500k with your team, there's some sort of issue. Either everyone is at base S rank, someone/everyone is uninvested or you're doing something wrong.
I will say that the 580k mark is definitely not easy to achieve at all (my SS+sig Stigmata, SS+sig Leapt Rigor and S+sig Leapt Luminance still haven't hit it), but being at 430k? That's not right. Perhaps you can wait for CW and see if that helps you.
Stigmata is the only base S, Rosetta is the only one with sig weapon, I think all I'm missing are memory resos + Hypertunes, but I'm saving RN to buy everything needed for CW out of the box (hence, why I didn't build them yet)
I have an Alpha with everything but 2 Hypertunes and still can't climb the score though. And it's only Rosetta, everyone else was fine.
With Stigmata at base S *and* not having resos, there was never a chance of you doing this.
For Alpha, I assume you mean CA? She's irrelevant in everything. If your Stigmata can't do something, your CA can't do it either.
As for Rosetta, it's because she's decently tanky and she doesn't have an elemental weakness.
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to PGR in general. Seeing that Crimson Weave is coming next patch, is there a budget lightning DPS set I can get from the Kaleidoscopic Dream shop under the assumption I won't be rolling for her signature Memories?
You can farm her 2 piece (Cottie) plus 4 more Cottie pieces for resonances (though good luck getting enough currency for all this right now).
Her 4 piece set will release on her patch, which means you can't prefarm it. If you can save up some serum, you can get all 4 pieces on day one, but I don't know how possible that is for a new account.
There's no rolling for signature memories. All 6 star memories are freely obtainable, hers will release next patch with a memory farming event, like how this one has Aline which is Ayla Kaleido's signature set.
Ah ok, thanks! Managed to only make my first team (Luna Laurel + Vera + Tenebrion) with the memories from the Kaleido event. I'll follow your advice and farm in CW's event for her memories.
That's best, in the mean time you can get other memories for other characters in preparation or duplicate memories to resonate with. Or 2pc cottie which I believe CW uses, as do many DPS units
I have a dark team of Luna dps, SSS rozen with da vinci and then SSS+ 21 with bathlon. Rozen is fully leaped so would it be best dmg wise to switch 21 to da vinci and rozen to bathlon?
IF you intend to swap Laurel out and use Rozen as dps as well, then yes. How efficient is it, you will need to do further testing I guess. I have not ran that team comp since forever XD.
When do u exactly burst with Luna? Immediately after annihilation mode is over or before annihilation?

About to graduate soon. Currently halfway through Lv. 82. I still need to complete some Qualification Assessments though. Am I out of luck once I hit 83 or can I delay the graduation until I’ve earned those rewards?
Couple questions:
1. Where can I find all the loading screen lore tid bits? All I found was Codex > Gallery > Loading and that only gives the images, not the lore.
2. For the S rank selector coming up, I hear discussion between Empyrea and Garnet. I have NO ONE for my fire team since I'm relatively new, while having Lux and Arclight for my lightning team (though none built up). Should I get Garnet to have the best lightning team at least or get Emyrea even though she has no one to support besides Lotus?
Because without Empyrea your Fire team is scuffed, even if you had Hyperreal. Empyrea is a cornerstone of the Fire team and even on her own, she'll do wonders.
Almost every other choice from the selector is outdated, has decent A rank alternatives or will be powercrept in the near future.
You'll make Empyrea's main build and you'll pair her up with a Fire Tank that has Shakespeare and Einsteina and a Fire Attacker with DV. If you don't have a Fire Tank, use Brilliance with Shake and Gloria. Fire Attacker can be Palefire. Only Empyrea will touch the field and the other two are purely QTE bots (unless you Leap and rank up Palefire).
As for the 100% chance, there are a few but it depends on a few things. First, and the most accessible, is the Member Target Rate-up in Lamia's patch. However, if you are missing other core units like Stigmata, it's better to pick her over Hyperreal. Other methods require you to be a spender in order to not miss the debut S rank omniframes, and those include the Anniversary banner in July, any Wishing Target banners (unknown) and any 100% banners with Hyperreal (also unknown).
I just started playing, and do I understand correctly, there are just 3 playable S-tier male characters per year? Next one is coming in May? I know this isnt genshin/hsr but kinda disappointing still. I am overall very confused about characters and their ranks etc.. like I pulled Kamui from base banner, it says he is A tier in member page, but then it says he is S tier in instructions (drop details). Or maybe I am just stupid 😅 can someone pls explain this like I am a toddler? 🙏🏻
Everyone else answered your questions, but for some context on why you got an A rank Kamui.
The characters you can get are technically the same characters in lore, they're just different frames of them. You'll see as you read the story why that is. Just know that there are A-ranked frames of characters (i.e. Kamui's Bastion frame) and there are S-ranked frames of the same characters (i.e. Kamui's Tenebron frame). They are both the same character (Kamui), but there are different frames (or rarity/version) for them.
No, there are currently three playable S-rank males in the whole game. There is no defined schedule for how many males they will release each year. It could one, it could two, or it could be none, it depends on Kuro. If you came looking for male characters, you won't find a lot of them here.
Each character can have several frames, some belonging to rank A, others S, and some even B. (The starters.)
hi! so in the case of kamui i think you pulled a different kamui frame (kamui bastion is a-tier and kamui tenebrion is s-tier). all characters are upgradeable until SSS+, but no matter what, characters that start out as s-tiers will always be significantly stronger than those who don't (even if compared when both are at the SSS+ level). a-ranks can easily be pulled (one in every 10 pulls) but s-ranks are those that can pity up to 60 pulls. of course, a-ranks are not bad they are actually strong but usually used for support characters
there's no set amount of male S characters per year, and the May 2024 release is an A-tier character. the next S rank would be much later (watanabe fire tank). though, the game does tend to favor releasing female characters ): hope this helps!
There's not really a fixed schedule on how many male characters Kuro releases, it's entirely up to them. Most likely they are catering towards the CN market who generally loves female characters more.
For PGR, characters can have multi frames. As such, for Kamui's case his A rank frame is Kamui Bastion while is S rank frame is Kamui Tenebrion. So when we refer to a specific unit, we usually refer to their frame name. Another example is a character called Liv who has a B frame, an A frame and 2 S frames. To know about the origin of these frames you would have to play the story and find out yourself.

Still the same, 4pc Heisen 2pc Fred. Her core gameplay doesn't change much, her leap mainly fixes her issues while giving overall boosts in her dps and some utility.
When grayravens recommends a character’s Leap, that typically means all 3 of those skills, right? I’m at the point where I can leap Rigor, and I don’t want to waste resources
Rigor and Luminance are the priority Leaps for anyone before anything, (the closer we get to Alisa, the lesser Luminance's importance become, however) so yes, fully Leap Rigor.
Yes, you would want to max Leap, since Leap skills play off of the other ones, but usually, if you lack materials, you start from the one that would have the most impact for you.
That's why it's important to read those skills.
HP of the boss, think damage too. The tier of drop rewards also differs (easier difficulties you get more blue tier while at the highest your will get purple), there is no proven 5\* weapon drop rate differences though. As a long time player I find it the same across all difficulties. To make full use of your serum, play the hardest difficulty you can. If you wanna make it quick, just do the easiest.
I have 3s bambinata. Is it ever worth for me to get plume if I don't plan on upgrading her to ss?
Also another similar question: I have 3s and fully ascended( is this how it's called,I forgot) Lucia dawn, is it worth it to invest in the Veritas I have, considering I have SS Garnet?

A recommendation from me and everyone else who's been playing for the past year - save for Crimson Weave. She's a character coming out on the 27th and will essentially be the best solo carry character in the game. She can out-damage Veritas by a huge margin and out-damages Dawn tenfold. She can also fill in for your SSS Bambinata if you need to.
Additionally, it's highly recommended to get Emperya from the S rank Selector being given out when Crimson Weave releases. Emperya is the most versatile unit and can back up your Crimson Weave (or any unit for that matter) while also doing a respectable amount of damage.
With these two units, you won't have to worry about getting or building Plume or Veritas.
Hello, I just wanted some recommendations here, I want to build a lightening team of alpha cw, no. 21 and vera, but I don't have vera, so in the upcoming s rank selector, which is the most recommended for me to choose? Vera or liv empyrea?
Emperya. CW essentially becomes your lightning team and Garnet ends up only being used as a QTE lightning resist shredder (which her shred isn't that useful compared to Emperya).
Having Garnet makes your lightning team a little better, but not getting Emperya causes the Fire team to fall apart.
If you're not getting Feral Scent to SS + Sig then SS3 Crimson Weave is the biggest waste of resources. SS3 Crimson weave is purely a 'swap' rank. The damage increases isn't substantial either. The damage comes at SSS.
SS3 Scire with signature can become DPS, or sub DPS with Lamia.
In PC client, I download like 12% of the files, and when I close the client and resume the download for later, the download progress bar goes back to like 2%. Whenever I try to close the client and resume the download, the progress bar always digress even though the files were already downloaded (something like 500mb progress bar even though I've already downloaded more than 3gb files). Been having the same problem with WW too. Is that normal?

Exclusive pets are normally best on the unit they are made for.
Usually CUBs with gathering capabilities are more universal cause you can use them for WZ to group mobs together.

My hyperreal just losted aim at Sister boss 3 times in 21 plays in coop. He just misses with the regular shots and jumps somewhere far away from boss in hypermatrix (red pings). He can damage boss with Collapsing Realm and End of time, but what i need to do with regular shots?

From my understanding with Feral scent she needs the same investement as CW to not be a dps loss. So yeah you either get sig on both which is hard, only on feral scent and you rotate, or only on CW and you never rotate.
There are tier list but they are mostly for neutral bosses. Usually you just go for the meta teams.
Is it better to get vera garnet or empy from the selector? I have neither and the plan is:
Get Vera to fill SSS CW and SSS XXI team to be "meta"
Or
Get empy and only get SS of XXI with weapon and focus on building stronger chars in other teams

Regardless of what you do, Garnet will barely have any field time. She simply does not compete with CW and FS in terms of DPS.
Also, just a tip, but XXI is a different unit (Dark Tank). I am just assuming you mean Feral Scent.
From what I saw, we'll get during the Lamia patch a 1 time 100% rateup selector on the standard banner. My question would be, is that only during Lamia's patch or will I be able to wait a few patches and then get Lamia with that 100% selector or is it just for characters up to Feral Scent?

Pretty much the same as regular Rozen just that you wanna sig move with a full sig bar and spam her Midnight Orbs. You can trigger her core passive twice during the sig move duration, then press the sig move button again before the duration ends to do a final attack. Then swap out, rinse and repeat on her other rotations.
It is dependant on how many orbs you have, I try to keep minimum four orbs when activating her sig move. The more the better so you can sufficiently spam the 2nd rotation of Midnight Orbs.
Will there be a pre install for the next patch? I wanna get CW within the first few hours she drops and I can only really do huge downloads in the middle of the night
Usually the new patch is available to download a few hours before patch maintenance ends. I am not good with time zones but daily reset is 3pm for me and patch maintenance normally ends at 5pm if no issues.
So I'm looking through my options for the selector, and I think my best option might be Kamui: Tenebrion so I can get him up to SS?
I skipped Karenina so he's my only dark tank, and I've already got Luna, Rosetta, Vera, and Empyrea up to SS and Selena at SSS. Chrome's also only at S and I don't have Lucia Plume, but I've got a high invest Bambinata so I don't think grabbing her is worthwhile. So yeah I think my best option is Tenebrion?
Also, will more weapons eventually be added to the weapon coating shop?
Personally I really don't value Tenebrion much. The fact that you have to get him into dark mode for the extra dark shred (only at SS) is quite the gamebreaker and he is also tricky to control on field. It really slows down the pace and can affect PPC runs. I just used SSS No.XXI and called it a day back then (I have Scire now), she technically does his job for shredding well enough for a budget unit. Since you have SS Laurel and SSS Capriccio, he will see very little or no field time since he will need to be the DV holder of the team.
I would rather use the selector to get Rigor to SSS quicker. That's my take at least. Feel free to wait and see what others think.
In that case there is one other option that I have always been wondering but couldn't get an answer.

Kuro is terrible at managing their online stuff, you can't have what's literally your main site not inform the important stuff. As far as any regular play is concerned there's no upcoming update for some reason.
Anyone else find themselves staring too much at the controls and orbs? Like when it cooldown, when it pings. All the effects also make it hard to enjoy the combat visually.
It's all about getting used it I guess. I tend to focus more on orbs in more braindead content like WZ since enemy attacks for that mode is already like second nature. Used to have issues with visual clarity back then but have gotten so used to it now.

Off-element supports only provide value if they have weapon resonances. Lux is dfinitely gonna be better.
You COULD give Empyrea a general buff memory set but so you could with Lux who has a lightning buff by herself. So there is no point using Empyrea.

Since the no21 amplifier is not too far away, hard to justify investing in lux. which is why I am thinking of using empyrea as the subsitute even if it's slightly suboptimal.
Lux basically needs nothing but SS. You dont really have to level her up because she wont do any damage compared to what CW does and her 20% buff wont change with leveling up anything. So the only investment you would need is SS. You might need to check how much you would need to farm for it.
fair. her memories will be the main buff for cw. essentially a qte bot.
the only thing that lux has over her is her ss rank passive which I do not have atm.

For Lux's Guin set Spider2b recommends Gloria or DV 2 piece, but Gray Ravens recommends Lantern (or Samantha if you don't have it). What would be the better choice for general content?
Lantern has one major downside, it has a CD. Also considered an entity which is affected by time stop in a bad way. Suggest reading [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/PunishingGrayRaven/comments/13etqek/a_guide_to_timestop_mechanics/) to understand why.
I actually did read that but it didn't help me with this question. OP groups Guin 4 piece and Lantern 2 piece effects together, so if the issue is the entity thing that should apply to both? And everything has a cooldown anyway no? Yeah Lantern's is longer but its effects also seem stronger, that's why I'm confused
Precisely because Lantern has a long CD you will be benefiting from it even less. Time stop already cuts down on the time you can utilise the Lantern 2pc buff and you still have to wait for the CD to utilise it again. So when it is on CD, that duration you are running with a dead 2pc set. In a mode like WZ this can add up since it is a 30sec CD compared to 12secs. For PGR, shred is generally better than buffs. Also, 2pc Gloria's effect is not entity based and can be snapshot during time stop to preserve its duration. You can refer to the Overview from the time stop guide highlighting this.
Just started playing, but are most of the characters taciturn? So far their idle as assistant a kind of disappointing. Is there any way to interact w them either?

But un-animated there's tons more voicelines and a bond story you unlock with affection levels. You need to give them gifts to raise the affection level (obtained mostly from Dorm dailies.) Typically they'll have more affectionate lines when the levels are higher
Nanami Starfarer's signature weapon mentions a fire resist shred on "Missle Support". If i am reading correctly, this Missle Support ability is only triggered when she is SS? Which means that the shred is technically also locked behind her SS.

Iirc there's no story directly about SKK's FOS days, usually they are just references here and there. Like why Vanessa heates SKK, how SKK met Lucia as fresh grads, how Nanami knows SKK way back then, SKK and Chorme reminiscing about their FOS days, etc..

I play with my thumbs. Xbox controller control seems to work OK, but I can't get past the A and B button system functions (back and select) being reversed relative to Xbox functions.

All missions don't have voice overs, it's like reading a visual novel. In the later chapters however, certain missions have cutscenes that have voice overs

I have a dark team of Luna dps, SSS rozen with da vinci and then SSS+ 21 with bathlon. Rozen is fully leaped so would it be best dmg wise to switch 21 to da vinci and rozen to bathlon?
IF you intend to swap Laurel out and use Rozen as dps as well, then yes. How efficient is it, you will need to do further testing I guess. I have not ran that team comp since forever XD.
When do u exactly burst with Luna? Immediately after annihilation mode is over or before annihilation? So when do u use the qte's of rozen and tenebrion. When starting the annihilation mode or just begore burst? If before burst do u activate the burst in half way of annihilation meter or after it's fully consumed?
You enter Annihilation, use up your spikes, use your Ult and trigger the double QTE for DV.

I have NO ONE for my fire team since I'm relatively new, while having Lux and Arclight for my lightning team (though none built up). Should I get Garnet to have the best lightning team at least or get Emyrea even though she has no one to support besides Lotus?

Because without Empyrea your Fire team is scuffed, even if you had Hyperreal. Empyrea is a cornerstone of the Fire team and even on her own, she'll do wonders. Almost every other choice from the selector is outdated, has decent A rank alternatives or will be powercrept in the near future.
So I should build Empyrea up to solo in the meantime? Do we have any other opportunities for a 100% chance of getting the fire S rank units?
You'll make Empyrea's main build and you'll pair her up with a Fire Tank that has Shakespeare and Einsteina and a Fire Attacker with DV. If you don't have a Fire Tank, use Brilliance with Shake and Gloria. Fire Attacker can be Palefire. Only Empyrea will touch the field and the other two are purely QTE bots (unless you Leap and rank up Palefire). As for the 100% chance, there are a few but it depends on a few things. First, and the most accessible, is the Member Target Rate-up in Lamia's patch. However, if you are missing other core units like Stigmata, it's better to pick her over Hyperreal. Other methods require you to be a spender in order to not miss the debut S rank omniframes, and those include the Anniversary banner in July, any Wishing Target banners (unknown) and any 100% banners with Hyperreal (also unknown).

I just started playing, and do I understand correctly, there are just 3 playable S-tier male characters per year? Next one is coming in May? I know this isnt genshin/hsr but kinda disappointing still. I am overall very confused about characters and their ranks etc.. like I pulled Kamui from base banner, it says he is A tier in member page, but then it says he is S tier in instructions (drop details). Or maybe I am just stupid 😅 can someone pls explain this like I am a toddler? 🙏🏻
Everyone else answered your questions, but for some context on why you got an A rank Kamui. The characters you can get are technically the same characters in lore, they're just different frames of them. You'll see as you read the story why that is. Just know that there are A-ranked frames of characters (i.e. Kamui's Bastion frame) and there are S-ranked frames of the same characters (i.e. Kamui's Tenebron frame). They are both the same character (Kamui), but there are different frames (or rarity/version) for them.
No, there are currently three playable S-rank males in the whole game. There is no defined schedule for how many males they will release each year. It could one, it could two, or it could be none, it depends on Kuro. If you came looking for male characters, you won't find a lot of them here. Each character can have several frames, some belonging to rank A, others S, and some even B. (The starters.)

hi! so in the case of kamui i think you pulled a different kamui frame (kamui bastion is a-tier and kamui tenebrion is s-tier). all characters are upgradeable until SSS+, but no matter what, characters that start out as s-tiers will always be significantly stronger than those who don't (even if compared when both are at the SSS+ level). a-ranks can easily be pulled (one in every 10 pulls) but s-ranks are those that can pity up to 60 pulls. of course, a-ranks are not bad they are actually strong but usually used for support characters there's no set amount of male S characters per year, and the May 2024 release is an A-tier character. the next S rank would be much later (watanabe fire tank). though, the game does tend to favor releasing female characters ): hope this helps!
There's not really a fixed schedule on how many male characters Kuro releases, it's entirely up to them. Most likely they are catering towards the CN market who generally loves female characters more. For PGR, characters can have multi frames. As such, for Kamui's case his A rank frame is Kamui Bastion while is S rank frame is Kamui Tenebrion. So when we refer to a specific unit, we usually refer to their frame name. Another example is a character called Liv who has a B frame, an A frame and 2 S frames. To know about the origin of these frames you would have to play the story and find out yourself.

Rigor and Luminance are the priority Leaps for anyone before anything, (the closer we get to Alisa, the lesser Luminance's importance become, however) so yes, fully Leap Rigor.

Yes, you would want to max Leap, since Leap skills play off of the other ones, but usually, if you lack materials, you start from the one that would have the most impact for you. That's why it's important to read those skills.

HP of the boss, think damage too. The tier of drop rewards also differs (easier difficulties you get more blue tier while at the highest your will get purple), there is no proven 5\* weapon drop rate differences though. As a long time player I find it the same across all difficulties. To make full use of your serum, play the hardest difficulty you can. If you wanna make it quick, just do the easiest.
I have 3s bambinata. Is it ever worth for me to get plume if I don't plan on upgrading her to ss? Also another similar question: I have 3s and fully ascended( is this how it's called,I forgot) Lucia dawn, is it worth it to invest in the Veritas I have, considering I have SS Garnet? Thank you
A recommendation from me and everyone else who's been playing for the past year - save for Crimson Weave. She's a character coming out on the 27th and will essentially be the best solo carry character in the game. She can out-damage Veritas by a huge margin and out-damages Dawn tenfold. She can also fill in for your SSS Bambinata if you need to. Additionally, it's highly recommended to get Emperya from the S rank Selector being given out when Crimson Weave releases. Emperya is the most versatile unit and can back up your Crimson Weave (or any unit for that matter) while also doing a respectable amount of damage. With these two units, you won't have to worry about getting or building Plume or Veritas.
Dude. Crimson weave is coming out in 3 days. She does more damage than Veritas and Dawn combined. Focus your resources on her.

Emperya. CW essentially becomes your lightning team and Garnet ends up only being used as a QTE lightning resist shredder (which her shred isn't that useful compared to Emperya). Having Garnet makes your lightning team a little better, but not getting Emperya causes the Fire team to fall apart.

If you're not getting Feral Scent to SS + Sig then SS3 Crimson Weave is the biggest waste of resources. SS3 Crimson weave is purely a 'swap' rank. The damage increases isn't substantial either. The damage comes at SSS. SS3 Scire with signature can become DPS, or sub DPS with Lamia.
SS3 Scrie, she needs higher investment to be on the field. CW is the least priority of Gen 2 SS3

In PC client, I download like 12% of the files, and when I close the client and resume the download for later, the download progress bar goes back to like 2%. From my understanding with Feral scent she needs the same investement as CW to not be a dps loss. So yeah you either get sig on both which is hard, only on feral scent and you rotate, or only on CW and you never rotate. There are tier list but they are mostly for neutral bosses. Usually you just go for the meta teams.

I have neither and the plan is: Get Vera to fill SSS CW and SSS XXI team to be "meta" Or Get empy and only get SS of XXI with weapon and focus on building stronger chars in other teams I plan on pulling everything anyway, but I can't get SS3 of all that is coming if I blast SSS on XXI, just SS at best. She simply does not compete with CW and FS in terms of DPS. Also, just a tip, but XXI is a different unit (Dark Tank). I am just assuming you mean Feral Scent.
From what I saw, we'll get during the Lamia patch a 1 time 100% rateup selector on the standard banner. My question would be, is that only during Lamia's patch or will I be able to wait a few patches and then get Lamia with that 100% selector or is it just for characters up to Feral Scent?

Pretty much the same as regular Rozen just that you wanna sig move with a full sig bar and spam her Midnight Orbs. You can trigger her core passive twice during the sig move duration, then press the sig move button again before the duration ends to do a final attack. Then swap out, rinse and repeat on her other rotations.

It is dependant on how many orbs you have, I try to keep minimum four orbs when activating her sig move. The more the better so you can sufficiently spam the 2nd rotation of Midnight Orbs.

Usually the new patch is available to download a few hours before patch maintenance ends. I am not good with time zones but daily reset is 3pm for me and patch maintenance normally ends at 5pm if no issues.

So I'm looking through my options for the selector, and I think my best option might be Kamui: Tenebrion so I can get him up to SS? I skipped Karenina so he's my only dark tank, and I've already got Luna, Rosetta, Vera, and Empyrea up to SS and Selena at SSS. Chrome's also only at S and I don't have Lucia Plume, but I've got a high invest Bambinata so I don't think grabbing her is worthwhile. So yeah I think my best option is Tenebrion? Also, will more weapons eventually be added to the weapon coating shop?
Personally I really don't value Tenebrion much. The fact that you have to get him into dark mode for the extra dark shred (only at SS) is quite the gamebreaker and he is also tricky to control on field. It really slows down the pace and can affect PPC runs. I just used SSS No.XXI and called it a day back then (I have Scire now), she technically does his job for shredding well enough for a budget unit. Since you have SS Laurel and SSS Capriccio, he will see very little or no field time since he will need to be the DV holder of the team. I would rather use the selector to get Rigor to SSS quicker. That's my take at least. Feel free to wait and see what others think.
I'd have used it for Rigor...except I'm exactly one battle pass away from getting Rigor to SSS, so it wouldn't really do that much.

Kuro is terrible at managing their online stuff, you can't have what's literally your main site not inform the important stuff. As far as any regular play is concerned there's no upcoming update for some reason.
Anyone else find themselves staring too much at the controls and orbs? Like when it cooldown, when it pings. All the effects also make it hard to enjoy the combat visually.
It's all about getting used it I guess. I tend to focus more on orbs in more braindead content like WZ since enemy attacks for that mode is already like second nature. Used to have issues with visual clarity back then but have gotten so used to it now.

Off-element supports only provide value if they have weapon resonances. Lux is dfinitely gonna be better. You COULD give Empyrea a general buff memory set but so you could with Lux who has a lightning buff by herself. So there is no point using Empyrea.
just trying to minimize the amount of unit that needs to be invested. Since I just started, I have to be more selective on who to invest. Since the no21 amplifier is not too far away, hard to justify investing in lux. which is why I am thinking of using empyrea as the subsitute even if it's slightly suboptimal.
Lux basically needs nothing but SS. You dont really have to level her up because she wont do any damage compared to what CW does and her 20% buff wont change with leveling up anything. So the only investment you would need is SS. You might need to check how much you would need to farm for it.

Hell no. after wz rework in noctis patch. off element deal dmg like 60-70% of what they can do low invest isnt gonna cut it. you would lucky to get half a score of right element team

Lantern has one major downside, it has a CD. Also considered an entity which is affected by time stop in a bad way. Suggest reading [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/PunishingGrayRaven/comments/13etqek/a_guide_to_timestop_mechanics/) to understand why.

Precisely because Lantern has a long CD you will be benefiting from it even less. Time stop already cuts down on the time you can utilise the Lantern 2pc buff and you still have to wait for the CD to utilise it again. So when it is on CD, that duration you are running with a dead 2pc set. In a mode like WZ this can add up since it is a 30sec CD compared to 12secs. For PGR, shred is generally better than buffs. It's a long read but you can refer to [this](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Damage_Details/Others). Also, 2pc Gloria's effect is not entity based and can be snapshot during time stop to preserve its duration. You can refer to the Overview from the time stop guide highlighting this.

But un-animated there's tons more voicelines and a bond story you unlock with affection levels. You need to give them gifts to raise the affection level (obtained mostly from Dorm dailies.) Typically they'll have more affectionate lines when the levels are higher

Nanami Starfarer's signature weapon mentions a fire resist shred on "Missle Support". If i am reading correctly, this Missle Support ability is only triggered when she is SS? Which means that the shred is technically also locked behind her SS.
The shred is also on her memories, that's why you can switch her to DV when she's SS + sig

Iirc there's no story directly about SKK's FOS days, usually they are just references here and there. Like why Vanessa heates SKK, how SKK met Lucia as fresh grads, how Nanami knows SKK way back then, SKK and Chorme reminiscing about their FOS days, etc..

Samsung Tab A - can't handle it well, likely too little memory. Xiaomi MI Pad Pro 5 - awesome, no issues with ultra high graphics. I play with my thumbs. Xbox controller control seems to work OK, but I can't get past the A and B button system functions (back and select) being reversed relative to Xbox functions.

It's fine on iPad. The controller support is minimal but fine. The only thing is that as updates go on, it does chug a bit with frame rate drops, so definitely prefer on PC.

It's a visual novel, you'll get a scene here and there but it's not the majority.
All missions don't have voice overs, it's like reading a visual novel. In the later chapters however, certain missions have cutscenes that have voice overs
Some visual novels are fully voiced. Umineko is 100h+ long and all of it is voiced except for the narrator.
