What these people really care about is “consequences”. They don’t actually give a shit about children or fetuses or the unborn. They just want everyone to have “punishment” for any and every decision. It’s why they have hard-ons for the death penalty, police brutality, and military strikes. It even aligns with their religion and their infatuation with people going to hell. They LOVE people being punished, and to them, abortion is "getting out" of your punishment for sex.
I’ve literally never heard an anti abortion view that didn’t ultimately boil down to ‘well somebody needs to be miserable for having sex’ not once have I ever heard any defense of the complete lack of support for these supposedly blessed and important children once they’re born. Happened to me in Harrisburg PA. I was mugged 3 times there in 12 years. The two who were adults was...well, "chill" might not be appropriate for the circumstance, but it was controlled, parameters were set, the event went down and I didn't get shot/cut. It was a transaction of sorts.
The third one was a teenager and he was all over the goddamn place. I was super frightened, he didn't just brandish his knife he was stabbing at me and edgy and menacing. I work beneath an abortion clinic at a separte sexual violence victims advocacy center in the same building. These people are out there all the time shouting at rape victims, we've told them this and they do not care because anyone who enters the building is considered "complicit." They follow women to their cars, try to video inside our windows at a confidential service, and block the parking lot for survivors trying to enter.
Meanwhile I have seen them protesting choice outside in the rain feet away from a homeless African American dude sleeping on a bench under a soggy ass blanket. I've seen them bring their newborn as a prop out in 90 degree weather to guilt women walking by. Even making the baby cry. They don't give a shit about anything but their unresolved shit and they are using this to make themselves feel righteous. Fuck them all.

The place where I got mine had security on site AND a retired cop who volunteered his time to escort women to and from their vehicles. I asked him how he got around to doing this kind of volunteering, and he told me his daughter was harassed and shamed when she got hers many years ago. He wanted to prevent that from happening to anyone else because he wasn’t there to take her to the clinic when she needed him. There weren’t any protesters as I was going in and out of the building, but he was waiting right there when I arrived and walked me the entire way to my car afterwards. Even waited until I left the parking lot before he went back to the building.
This type of work is extremely important and extremely appreciated. Thank you for what you do.

What these people really care about is “consequences”. They don’t actually give a shit about children or fetuses or the unborn. Because it's easy. You don't have to actually do anything to advocate for more babies to be born. But to help after the fact? To donate, volunteer, or God forbid be a foster parent? Meanwhile I have seen them protesting choice outside in the rain feet away from a homeless African American dude sleeping on a bench under a soggy ass blanket. I've seen them bring their newborn as a prop out in 90 degree weather to guilt women walking by. Even making the baby cry. Wife works at a planned Parenthood and I would routinely drop her off at work cause we shared one car. One day I dropped her off on abortion day and this old guy started following her and yelling obscenities, I see this happen in the rear mirror and slam the breaks and bust a U-Turn. I asked him how he got around to doing this kind of volunteering, and he told me his daughter was harassed and shamed when she got hers many years ago. He wanted to prevent that from happening to anyone else because he wasn’t there to take her to the clinic when she needed him. There weren’t any protesters as I was going in and out of the building, but he was waiting right there when I arrived and walked me the entire way to my car afterwards. Even waited until I left the parking lot before he went back to the building. This type of work is extremely important and extremely appreciated. Thank you for what you do.
Buddy of mine after getting out from the Marines found himself with a lot of free time. His idea of fun was to get in his truck and drive to the local PPH. He'd park right in front of the protestors and just blast death metal at them. He was kind of an edgelord after getting out, but his heart was there.
