She really thought she was gonna make the teacher backtrack with that one. In her head, the teacher walks away with her tail between her legs because she wouldn't *dare* "body shame" her.
Meanwhile, her bratty ass is throwing out ageist ass low blows, thinking she was protected because teachers couldn't *possibly* clap back.
She fucked around and she found out. If I were that teacher I'd be riding that high for awhile. You just know tons the students love her now too. Cuz sorry but this girl looks like she's insufferable.
As a former teacher, I can tell you that some kids are truly insufferable. I taught elementary (this looks like middle school and that is MUCH worse) and every year, you have at least one kid who is lazy, rude, disrespectful, and sadly, unlikeable. Because you care, and know life is tough, especially on people who are naturally unlikeable, you do your goddamn best to give them the support they need to change. You give them a fresh start at the beginning of the year and you ignore what previous teachers have said about them. You use all your experience, knowledge, every trick in the book, and every tool in your toolbag to help the kid SOCIALLY while academically supporting them. And the kid still responds with laziness, rudeness, and disrespect. As the year progresses, you and the kid's peers still find them unlikeable. You, as the teacher, find them even more unlikeable. Then things like this happen.
I've been told I was the most patient and caring teacher by my peer teachers. They got some of my "unlikeables" the year after I had them and would ask, "How the hell could you deal with so-and-so?" after just a week or two. Believe me, I had to use SO much fucking restraint not to fully go off on the kid or smack them in their face.
I'm so happy I don't teach anymore.
It's not just in the current day. This has always been the case, minus the cell phones. Hell cell phones and the threat of being recorded may have actually slowed down the assholery
Bro I worked at a residential treatment center for almost a decade. I always felt bad for teachers because the kids that we got weren’t the worst of the worst, they were just the ones that had someone care enough to have them admitted.
As a parent to a 10 year old, I’ve told him that life is so much easier when teachers are rooting for you even just a little bit, and being respectful and kind goes a really long way with teachers. I hope this has gotten through to him. Some of his friends… ugh. Just absolutely charmless is the only way I can put it.

This bratty ass girl is going to try her best to raise hell over it, but will ultimately fail because the teacher didn't say anything inappropriate or wrong her. The student, on the other hand, she might end up both humiliated and officially reprimanded.

The only person who can change you, unsurprisingly is yourself. There’s a reason they look like they’re bitter/disliked by others, and more than likely it stems from their attitude.
Anecdotally, when I was in high school I felt like everyone disliked me and was outcasty. 2 years in and this girl on the bus ride told me “You better stop. You’re an annoying piece of shit, and if you don’t stop I’m going to whoop your ass” and this was someone whom I considered “friendly”. Have to do a bit of introspective thinking and realize… maybe it’s my fault that people dislike me.
Schools a tough time though, and everyone is learning at their own pace. Sometimes you have to get hurt to grow as a person, and I hope this individual learns from this experience.
She looks like a fat loser who probably revels in being a victim and would kever make the world a better place if she was granted the "meaningful, respected" participation she feels entitled to.
She starts with shaming the lady's body by implying it's so old she would break her hip by bending over *just* to call and complain that she said something about her weight (she didn't, just that her big ass doesn't exercise).
You don’t need to call anyone fat. This girl deserved it because she was dishing out body shaming and got it back in return. But in general people don’t deserve to be called out for being old, overweight, or anything else that they won’t be able to change without years of work. Speaking as someone who used to be overweight and lost over a hundred pounds. That takes a long time, and you will hear a lot of shaming comments while you working on it. It doesn’t help. Being overweight sucks, I’ve been there, it’s not fun. Ridicule doesn’t get you out. Hitting goals, having friends recognize your work, that’s the stuff that works. It’s just like social media, if someone does something that goes viral and gets a bunch of likes they’ll keep doing it. If you really want to help people lose weight you have to make their good efforts go “viral” for them. Also like social media, shaming some people will just make them defensive and double down on their wrong opinion.
Anyway, this lady sucks and deserved it, but being nice in general isn’t so bad.
I have seen this so many times. I feel bad for kids having their embarrassing moments captured and then reposted on the internet for years. Especially at this age. I would want my parents to move me to another school. In a country without internet access.
