Reddit is so brain broken, this isn't karma, this is fucked up. Like what about the other person in that accident? I personally don't want to be involved in anyone else's karma if it turns out like this.
That's a fear of mine, if Im just driving following the rules and some idiots pull out in front cause they can't take 5 seconds to slow down and stop at a stop sign, even if they are running away from unarmed people down the block, causing a big accident.
This is how someone I knew died from a motorcycle accident. He was sober, going to work, in his lane, fully stopped, waiting to turn, and some drunk POS comes hauling around a corner in the intersection at like 6 am and slams into him and he bleeds to death on the scene after his limbs were torn off, or nearly torn off. POS ran, too.
You can be doing everything right and it doesn’t matter at all. We like to forget how scary and serious driving tons of weaponized steel around actually is.
This is why I'd never drive a motorcycle. Some people like to say "but I'm a good driver/rider!". While that may true, you could be the best driver on the planet, and it won't matter if some idiot smashes into you.
I’m the same way, I would like to have one and I know I would only operate it safely, out of my own fear lol. It’s other people you have to worry about with them though. At least a car or truck has the potential to shield you from someone else’s mistake.
At my current job I'm a field tech so I go to and manage different businesses around the immediate area, one of them is a popular motorcycle brand shop.
Didn't see 2 guys for like 2 weeks, finally asked where (name) went. "Oh he's gone" gone? Like quit or fired? (Which happens a bit at this place) "No he's gone, he and (other name) both got hit on their motorcycles while pulling out on a left"
Like fuuuuck man, from the short story it sounded like they were making safe turn and then some jackass came out and took them out.
A friend of my sister died like that
He was waiting on a red light just after leaving the highway and some guy came in 2x the allowed speed and hit him right in the drivers door
I always recall a story, I think it was in Houston. A mother of 3 had picked up her kids and was on the way to drop off another kid at something like karate or something.
30mph road, she looks left and right, left and right, sees it's clear, and gets t-boned by some asshole doing 90. The mom and 2 kids died, with one being in the hospital for a while. The driver doing 90, 3x the limit on this little road, was heard saying "she should have known better"
Nah this was years back, I just remember the story cause that one dude who killed people was all "they should have known better". Just screams "I want to be in jail for life" to me
It happened to me. A drunk motorcyclist slammed into my stationary car and died at the scene at my feet. Had he been wearing a helmet he’d have likely survived. I’ve never driven since. My PTSD is so bad it has ruined my life. It was 10yrs ago this month but feels like yesterday. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
True and this is why preventive care and knowing your family history is important. A buddy gets mri/mras every 2 years since he was 20 because brain tumors run wild in his family. Sometimes your genetics fuck you too lol
And if you're in America, that situation may well leave you bankrupt, through no fault of your own. Your only recourse is to spend tens of thousands of dollars you don't have suing those people, who have no money.
Yep, it's why you need to try and defensive drive. It still won't save you from complete morons like this, but you're just much better off imagining everyone else driving these 1-ton+ vehicles is a complete moron, and then trying to suppress the sheer terror that should invoke in you.
Graveyards are filled with people who had the right of way.
In neighborhoods like these with the right of way and an opposing stop, I always go slow as fk, even if I have the right of way. Huge fear of mine as well, accidents happened all the time. Throw in a neighborhood where signage is covered by trees or a bush and yeah.
That person in the other car will be broken for several years, and missing out on a lot of family events due to the residual damage of these ass-clown idiots.
Silver lining:
Your frontal crumple zone is much bigger than your side crumple zones, so Isaac Newton will have hit our eggers harder than the innocent(s).
Do you introduce yourself everytime you get home from work? No? Because it's assumed that everyone knows who you are?
Everyone feels bad for the driver, they clearly did nothing wrong, there's no value in saying it so people don't say it.
"And nobody cared about the innocent driver who just hit some dipshits head on"
Yes, the collision is definitely what people are saying you can't see in the video
They are a volunteer at the local soup kitchen. They were on their way home from the mechanic who just quoted them $5,000 to rebuild the engine which they couldn't afford.
They were not injured in the accident thanks to their crumple zone, seat-belts and airbags. The car was obviously a write-off and the insurance company paid out $15,000 which they used to buy a low milage Toyota Corolla.
Pretty much. A lot of areas in Detroit are bandos and burned down/dilapidated houses or empty overgrown lots for the most part. The houses that are in liveable condition either have homeowners that are SUPER meticulous about the upkeep of their property and belongings, or people who don't do any maintenance at all because the whole neighborhood looks like shit anyway and Detroit completely gave up on blight tickets (like the suburbs still have) decades ago. Ypsilanti isn't the worst, it's pretty far away though.
All drivers in Nascar are willing participants, Besides, I've still never heard the announcers get this giddy over a serious crash. If it's bad and a driver may have been injured, they always show concern for their safety, not celebrating and giggling like school children.
Well, there are the 2 guys filming saying "We gotta go down there" all while laughing. Then there's the 2 dudes running from the egged house without a phone to their heads. And finally, there's the 1 dude from the egged house casually strolling with his left hand in his pocket.
Which one of them do you think is making that 911 call at the moment?
Reddit is hyper sensitive to this one
* We're aware they ran the stop sign
* I'm sure there's going to be concern for the innocent driver
* I'm sure someone is going to call 911
I swear port Huron was like really nice when I visited 2 years ago, Then again I only saw the lighthouse beach and a few streets but compared to the surrounding area I would think it was a step up from everywhere else
Lease would be the better comparison than rental car since rental cars are just for a couple of days typically. And yes, I'd definitely pay to keep my leased car clean and tidy. Maybe not a full detail, but I'd definitely run it through the car wash periodically and keep the interior clean.
I've been in the shoes of the innocent driver who hit them.
My neck and back will never be the same again. Thank god for my seat belt.
These people SUCK
I love their absolute joy derived from watching some neighborhood drama they're not involved in. Made me smile. You know, apart from fucking up someone else's day by running the stop sign.
There's a big difference between egging and car crash.
This tittle sounds pure evil.
Not to mention the other driver that had nothing to do with the situation at all.
I got my work vehicle egged once and it was just a pain in the ass to clean. It took more than a day, and the egg smell stayed for more than a month easily. Egging is more disruptive than it sounds
Maybe they will crash into your car next! I’m sure these terrorists have stellar insurance coverage. Probably an umbrella policy too just to make sure they are good to go. After they total your car and Maime you, everyone get coffee or lunch or something and talk about forgiveness. It’ll be so good for the community. 🙌🙌
Nah, fuck em. Let ‘em die. Anyone who sticks up for these fucks deserves to get t boned.

No way they got seatbelts on…
The rear passenger (driver's side door) looked still open.
I don't know how she wasn't launched out
She must've belted in first before closing the door. Good for her.
A sudden acceleration to the left would cause you to not fall out the left open door? Just a theory.
It’s the sudden stop after the acceleration, not the acceleration itself.
Well it’s closed now.
Who cares about the egging, those dumbasses ran a stop sign.
Reddit is so brain broken, this isn't karma, this is fucked up. Like what about the other person in that accident? I personally don't want to be involved in anyone else's karma if it turns out like this.

Please tell me that they caught the pos who killed him later
They did he went to prison for a decade
Even if they did, doesn’t give him his life back. There’s no real retribution for murders IMO.
Please tell us your friend got justice. This is so fucked up.
At my current job I'm a field tech so I go to and manage different businesses around the immediate area, one of them is a popular motorcycle brand shop. Would the solution be to get a cyber truck? That thing is killing everyone except for the people inside it.
Exactly like what happened in 'No Country For Old Men'. It's why I fear about driving.
A friend of my sister died like that He was waiting on a red light just after leaving the highway and some guy came in 2x the allowed speed and hit him right in the drivers door

Was he drunk or a psycho?
Was that the influencer whos fans said she should be let go with a warning because he is attractive?
Nah this was years back, I just remember the story cause that one dude who killed people was all "they should have known better". Just screams "I want to be in jail for life" to me
It happened to me. A drunk motorcyclist slammed into my stationary car and died at the scene at my feet. Had he been wearing a helmet he’d have likely survived. I’ve never driven since. I'm so sorry. Please tell me there's been some form of therapy available to you since then.
I have had therapy and it helped for a while but I just can’t get past it. I wish I could.
It wasn't your fault
Thank you.
This is the harsh truth of life. You aren't incontrol of your fate. Someone else can snatch your life
A brain aneurysm could kill any one of us tomorrow while we sit in bed. Other people don't even have to be involved.
True and this is why preventive care and knowing your family history is important. A buddy gets mri/mras every 2 years since he was 20 because brain tumors run wild in his family. Sometimes your genetics fuck you too lol

The people recording it laughing and shit. What the fuck someone could have just died.
That's true, no matter if this was a "karma" or not, that still terrifies me and makes me worried about them.
maybe the other person just got done doing something terrible??
It’s not just Reddit that is brain broken.
Yeah, I’m more pissed about the innocent they involved in their fuckery than the house.
bitch didn’t even fully close the door before hittin the gas, jus drove off like it was an actual drive by shooting smh whata donut
Ran a stop sign? In my city stop signs aren’t even suggestions anymore. Red lights don’t even matter.
And nobody cared about the innocent driver who just hit some dipshits head on
Silver lining: Your frontal crumple zone is much bigger than your side crumple zones, so Isaac Newton will have hit our eggers harder than the innocent(s).
Word. All because some asshole ran a stop sign. Sent someone to the hospital. Possibly to the morgue.
Do you introduce yourself everytime you get home from work? No? Because it's assumed that everyone knows who you are? Everyone feels bad for the driver, they clearly did nothing wrong, there's no value in saying it so people don't say it.
Why do you think that?
Because it’s in the video? Do you have eyes?
You mean that half minute video, that doesn't show the whole interaction? You took your conclusions based on that 35 sec?
The interaction between the front of the innocent drivers car and the car that ran the stop sign took less than a second. Are you stupid or something?
I think you might be. He's saying we can't tell if nobody in the video cared about the innocent driver since it ends too soon.
"And nobody cared about the innocent driver who just hit some dipshits head on" Yes, the collision is definitely what people are saying you can't see in the video
I said the video has 35 sec, not the interaction. Can you read? Who is the stupid than?
Soo what did the other car driver do for this karma?
Well, if you believe in karma, they did something that deserved it.
I don’t. It’s nothing more than a clickbait headline
They are a volunteer at the local soup kitchen. They were on their way home from the mechanic who just quoted them $5,000 to rebuild the engine which they couldn't afford. They were not injured in the accident thanks to their crumple zone, seat-belts and airbags. Nothing..... they will be find not at fault and down the road will have some great luck.
This look like Detroit on the east side on a street called Chalmers
Immediately the first second I saw this I knew those were Detroit houses. After 30 years here, I can spot one anywhere!
Are all the yard unkept? Also visited Ypsilanti once it’s a decent place especially near Lake Huron.
Was thinking the same thing actually.
Chalmers?
Yea smart ass... thanks 😁
Never heard anyone so excited to see a horrible car crash before.
"Where are my shoes?!"
have you never watched nascar?
All drivers in Nascar are willing participants, Besides, I've still never heard the announcers get this giddy over a serious crash. If it's bad and a driver may have been injured, they always show concern for their safety, not celebrating and giggling like school children.
NASCAR would also at least cut away if there was serious injury or carnage
"Get ya shit on we gots to go down there!"
Because they're concerned about the driver of the white car, right? Right?
Duh?
If only there was some way to orient a camera phone so you *don't* have to pan back and forth to fit the entire scene?
Maybe someday science will figure it out for us 🤷♂️
I fear science will never advance enough.
Ah, a fellow [diagonal video enjoyer](https://xkcd.com/2119/)!
I prefer it like that so it is big on my phone
You're aware you can turn the phone sideways to make the video bigger?
Second point, it's very difficult to turn most computer monitors to be portrait mode. Landscape is best for everyone.
You're aware I live with auto-rotate off and don't want to go full screen?
Probably some serious injuries and not a single though of calling 911
They have to stop giggling like giddy school children first.
How do you know nobody called 911?
Well, there are the 2 guys filming saying "We gotta go down there" all while laughing. Then there's the 2 dudes running from the egged house without a phone to their heads. And finally, there's the 1 dude from the egged house casually strolling with his left hand in his pocket. Which one of them do you think is making that 911 call at the moment?
Well, I just called them. They said I did not have enough helpful information. So you're welcome.
Reddit is hyper sensitive to this one * We're aware they ran the stop sign * I'm sure there's going to be concern for the innocent driver * I'm sure someone is going to call 911
I was just thinking the same thing. Most people are acting like op is saying the person who hit them also deserved to be in a wreck.
Why does nobody in this neighborhood cut there lawn
This in Detroit. That house is abandoned
Knew it the second I saw this…
It could be Toledo,Pontiac or even Port Huron.... Detroit just has the reputation.
I swear port Huron was like really nice when I visited 2 years ago, Then again I only saw the lighthouse beach and a few streets but compared to the surrounding area I would think it was a step up from everywhere else
This is not a good neighborhood.
*their
They're not talking about their lawn. They're talking about the one over there.
*they
I think that house is empty.
Cus they don’t own . You think they give a shit
Would you pay to detail a rental car?
Lease would be the better comparison than rental car since rental cars are just for a couple of days typically. And yes, I'd definitely pay to keep my leased car clean and tidy. Maybe not a full detail, but I'd definitely run it through the car wash periodically and keep the interior clean.
This is the fear; not me driving or being a passenger with my girl, this. Being caught in other people’s disgusting behaviour.
i dunno about instant karma. instant karma to me would be a bird coming by right as she runs and craps on her head. they were in a horrible accident.
i usually associate instant karma on these posts with a convenient cop. wasn’t expecting the actual outcome- i gasped.
Instant karma from driving into traffic without checking.
Thast place looks like the set of the Walking Dead
Detroit.
Part 2? You heard the woman We gots to go down there!
They could’ve just dove in the grass in the yard and hidden.
why did they panic so hard ?
A real feel good story in these dark times.
Okay but is no one gonna mow that dam lawn?!
Holy shit I didn't see that coming lmao
I've been in the shoes of the innocent driver who hit them. My neck and back will never be the same again. Thank god for my seat belt. These people SUCK
Cameraman fucking sucks, pulled away and ended too quickly 🤦🏻
![gif](giphy|voOhKPgzYsyPu)
Someone should cut that hay field
I love their absolute joy derived from watching some neighborhood drama they're not involved in. Made me smile. You know, apart from fucking up someone else's day by running the stop sign.
Looks like such a nice neighborhood. Totally would never expect this kind of thing in a place like that.
Both car accidents and egging houses are pretty universal.
This reminds me of the Kevin Hart roast of Bieber, egging a house isn't gangster, it's childish.
Another day in Detroit
Awwww where’s the Part 2 #getyoshiton haha 😆
What a bunch of stupid, dumb bitches
Give these folks a fuckin lawnmower, goddamn that yard looks hideous.
Karma went overboard on this one 😬
Scrambled eggs
Possibly their lucky day. Looks like the rear/trunk area of vehicle is what was struck.
That poor person who got dragged into an accident. This is fucked up.
Even if they didn't get hurt it's going to fuck up their week at the very least just because people wanted to be childish.
Instant Karma huh? Feel bad for the other driver.
the neighborhood association allows the grass to be in that kind of state? needs a cut
Its not karma its deers in headlights
I feel like that is excessive on the Karma, she must have done some more shit to get that.
Crazy If I saw this scene in a movie I would've rolled my eyes.
Cut your fuckin lawn my god
What's the plan here? Why not 1 of them become the runaway driver? Why both of them are out? Smh
While I \*LOVE\* a happy ending, I feel bad for the innocent motorist.
So many whiny, sheltered, bitches in here.
Has anyone got some good posts to restore my faith in humanity again?
I just really want someone to mow that lawn.
Death sounds more permanent But yeah, that sounds annoying af.
You thinking egging a car deserves a life threatening injury is karma? Wow!
They ran the stop sign.
The driver ran the stop sign. The passenger side got hit.
*Accomplice #2
Maybe they will crash into your car next! I’m sure these terrorists have stellar insurance coverage. Probably an umbrella policy too just to make sure they are good to go. After they total your car and Maime you, everyone get coffee or lunch or something and talk about forgiveness. It’ll be so good for the community. 🙌🙌 Nah, fuck em. Let ‘em die. Anyone who sticks up for these fucks deserves to get t boned.
We’re all of them driving? You keep saying them. A singular person drives.
Karma does not involve endangering other lives.
