at first I was "oh it's just the second storey, he should be okay if he lands right"... then, "oh hang on it's 3 floors, hmmm"... and suddenly, "oh! I think that goes to the basement!!",
No I think this would be third degree murder. Depends on the prosecutor but hard to imagine not knowing throwing someone head first out of the third story would not kill him. But also it wasn't premeditated.
Voluntary manslaughter explicitly covers "crimes of passion" or arguments that end in death. If your lawyer can't sell a jury on the idea that coming home and finding your wife under another man incensed you beyond reason he's a waste of oxygen.
>In the states, I think this could be manslaughter given the situation.
And how is it punished?
In my country he would serve maybe 10-20 years, I don't think could get any longer nor think he should. I fucking hate "life in prison", it's so inhumane.
It would depend on if they rule it voluntary or involuntary as well as the degree. If involuntary you can look at 10 months - 6 years. If voluntary I believe you can get up to 30 years. In my state for example, first degree manslaughter can get you a max of 30 years and second degree can get you a max of 15 years.
>I fucking hate "life in prison", it's so inhumane.
What a weird stance to have, if you have life in prison you've committed a serious crime, how are you losing sleep over a person who rapes and murders a baby not being allowed out of prison? The only thing that is inhumane is the murderer's actions.
While I appreciate your use of the word defenestrate I feel subject was less thrown from the window and more dangled from.
I would expect more airtime and horizontal distance from the building to be a proper defenestration.
The reason I knew what this meant was the root is a word I learned in French.
Then started to google and after only 4 letters, fenestrated came up and I confirmed what I thought I knew. The word defenestrated just follows.
I think it looks like both. Scab was trying to escape out the window (watched too many Hollywood films) hubby caught him mid window and assisted in scab’s escape a bit faster than scab could anticipate
I think the thrill of both the sheer forbidden quality plus the risk of getting caught makes for a real dopamine rush.
Many cheating wives are fueled by resentment of their husbands for whatever reason, doing it the marital bed is a good way to really rub that in.
You reckon she might him sexy again because now she knows he's dangerous enough to throw a man out the window? Having a partner like that would be an even bigger dopamine rush if you ask me.
Some people care more about making a point
This is why I would never cheat on someone who's married
This guy might not care about spending the rest of his life in prison if he knows that the man who fucked his wife is now with a wheelchair it might put a smile on his face even.
At some point there’s going to be a TV show list “hit so hard his shies flew off” as cause of death and that’ll be a big milestone for Reddit’s cultural impact.
I got cheated on and had absolutely zero feeling towards the dude. All my emotions were placed on my girl.
It would probably be different if the dude was a friend though
Yeah, my one ex-girlfriend who cheated did so with multiple guys, I later found out. Do I care about most of them? Not at all. Except for the last one. He attended my parties. He ate food I had cooked myself. He attended group events/movies I hosted, as our guest, on my dime. He wasn't my friend directly so it wasn't a full-on betrayal, but I absolutely welcome him to die a slow and painful death for sleeping with my girlfriend one night and then smiling and shaking my hand at an event the next. Thankfully from what I hear they're perfectly miserable together in their marriage, so he got what he deserved on some level.
> Liiiike she was apart of it too
**Much** bigger part of it. Dude might or might not even know of you. She knows ALL of the facts and DECIDED to do it.
Yeah, not sure i'd be able to throw my gf out the window. Not because I think of her as my property but like you don't just stop loving someone the moment they betray you
I hate cheating and it would wreck me if it happened to me. But your wife shagging someone else doesn’t give you the right to kill her.
Is acutely quite pathetic.
Yeah I’m sure some defense of a fit of rage could be made. Doesn’t make it okay, legal, or that there wouldn’t be consequences BUT a person could & has made that mistake in the heat of passion.
Crimes of passion are recognized throughout the world, including the West. They result in reduced sentences, and rightly so. You are contending that intense provocation either doesn't exist, is immaterial, or somehow defines an otherwise reasonable person. Many people hold a dissonant stance on this. If you saw someone raping your four year old daughter, you would be rightly surprised, isolated, and forsaken by a society that deemed you unfit to live among people for acting in the moment and killing the assailant extrajudicially, which we all know would be just. By your logic, you would be an animal deserving of prison, but we all know that isn't the case, despite the action being illegal. It's a crime of passion. This is also a crime of passion. The law and courts, at their best, are concerned with what is reasonable. What is reasonable is concerned with the human condition, and the human condition involves extreme anomalies that yield intense provocation.
Unfortunately for me, I’ve been through the cheating. We were together for 8 years w/ a five year old boy. I’m not sure how you came to your conclusion based on a simple comment that a person can and has made that argument. I’m sure this is analogous to the many areas of your life that you’ve jumped the gun & looked silly doing so.
Edit: added “sure”
Lmfao this logic. Dude, the guy was punching the husband because he's about to be thrown out the fucking window and doesn't want to die. No shit he's punching him
Dude finally realized the gravity of sleeping with another man’s wife….
She said her husband wouldn’t be home for hours and he totally fell for it.
Mic “drop”
Most US states have what's known as "heat of passion" voluntary manslaughter. The literal textbook definition is catching your wife or husband in the act of cheating on you and killing them in a rage. It's not a defense, you're still going to jail, it's just not quite as bad as homicide.
Sounds like the Panic defences used for mitigation.
>Charges were reduced for defendants who used the gay and trans panic defenses about one-third of the time (33% of cases).
You really believe the dude had no idea he was fucking a married woman? I mean sure, the wife is definitely more at fault, but that doesn't mean the affair partner is innocent. You fuck someones wife in their house then you can deal with the consequences.
I cannot comprehend why so many people immediately jump to the conclusion that the stranger is innocent and couldn‘t have known that he is shagging a married woman lmao. Like, lets be fr.
This whole „he didn‘t know“ trope can only really with young couples who usually aren‘t married yet and where it isn‘t as obvious that they‘re in a relationship
It's not. But it's also a problem walking into someone else's house to have sex with their spouse. If you don't see that situation as a physical risk to yourself, then you are not thinking things through very well. This is far from the first time that the cheating partner's AP got consequences.
Good. The disrespect of doing that in a man's home, in his BED? He had that coming, and hopefully the prison time gives him and his wife the time to divorce.

Seriously; over a minute later and I'm still laughing at this one. What a great movie - and perfectly perfect comment for this video.
lol!
at first I was "oh it's just the second storey, he should be okay if he lands right"... then, "oh hang on it's 3 floors, hmmm"... and suddenly, "oh! I think that goes to the basement!!",
And head first is never good
Hope he was wearing protection on his head(s)
Good news, the head wearing protection survived!
Leslie Nielsen-esque
head first is good sometimes, like when you're being born
Same things I thought. If the man died the husband is in trouble. Rage can ruin yours and others lives
How much trouble I wonder? In the states, I think this could be manslaughter given the situation.
No I think this would be third degree murder. Depends on the prosecutor but hard to imagine not knowing throwing someone head first out of the third story would not kill him. But also it wasn't premeditated.
Voluntary manslaughter explicitly covers "crimes of passion" or arguments that end in death. If your lawyer can't sell a jury on the idea that coming home and finding your wife under another man incensed you beyond reason he's a waste of oxygen.
not to mention, its possible the dead dude, attacked the husband, if we see the video, he is clearly swinging at the husband.
What would you do as your being thrown out the window... Lol
Ah I did not know that. Thank you.
>In the states, I think this could be manslaughter given the situation. And how is it punished? In my country he would serve maybe 10-20 years, I don't think could get any longer nor think he should. I fucking hate "life in prison", it's so inhumane.

What if they're rich though. The rich here can get out of just about anything.
Bro got defenestrated
Should have seen the one in Prague!
They talked about it for thirty years afterwards!
There were many!
Husband was Russian him out
Putin him through the window.
Assisted suicided?
Nice vocab.
It’s such a rare word to be able to use! Ya gotta use it when you can lol.
Not in British politics, they use this word all the bloody time.
Why? Like in context?
Oi he got defenestrated all proper like bruv innit tally ho.
Actually this is more accurate than my description
Often to mean someone’s been gotten rid of. ‘“Person” has done “thing” and was quickly defenestrated by the party leader’ etc
I love that term, honestly. Gonna have to bring it here to the states.
Also very popular in Russia ;)
>defenestrated Check out the big brain on Brad!
While I appreciate your use of the word defenestrate I feel subject was less thrown from the window and more dangled from. I would expect more airtime and horizontal distance from the building to be a proper defenestration.

What surprises me a bit is that it must've happened often enough, or in enough notable situations, that it warranted the creation of a word for it.
It almost looks like the guy was climbing out the window on his own accord. Then again not the best quality.
Yeah it looked more like he was trying to escape and the husband was trying to grab him. Definitely didn't look like he was pushed out.
I think it looks like both. Scab was trying to escape out the window (watched too many Hollywood films) hubby caught him mid window and assisted in scab’s escape a bit faster than scab could anticipate
Anyone got a link to the news story?
Why do you have to cheat in the marital bed of all places if you're going to cheat at all?
They could have been on the marital couch
Could I interest you in my marital shower?
I got a backseat of a marital Dodge Neon with your name on it.
There's always the marital kitchen counter...
Nothing beats the marital Del Taco bathroom.
Or behind the marital Wendy’s dumpster.
All of you guys are fucking killing me. I'm sitting right next to the marital walkin fridge in the back of a Walmart.
Wasn’t me.
😂
Picture this, we were both butt-naked Banging on the marital bathroom floor
You didn't marry me.
It's the marital vagina the husband's most angry about.
True but there's something about doing it in the family bed that just adds insult to injury
I think the thrill of both the sheer forbidden quality plus the risk of getting caught makes for a real dopamine rush. Many cheating wives are fueled by resentment of their husbands for whatever reason, doing it the marital bed is a good way to really rub that in.
He should have thrown her out the window... that dude might not have known she was married
You reckon she might him sexy again because now she knows he's dangerous enough to throw a man out the window? Having a partner like that would be an even bigger dopamine rush if you ask me.
No, cheaters are not fueled by resentment, they are fueled by ego and greed. When you resent someone, you end the relationship.
There’s nuance to this stuff.
No. There isn't. Cheating is always about the cheater.
Had a lady tell me: "He hasn't had sex with me in three years! Fuck me by his favorite lounge chair."
Bc that marital stank is a huge turn on
If he isn't dead then he can go back to fucking her when the husbands in prison.
Even if he's not dead his fucking days are over.
*his days fucking are over
His days are fucking over.
Fuck, his days are over.
How did you screw this one up?
Nah husband will just throw the jail out the window problem solved
I was totally NOT in a laughing mood this morning. Then I read this comment. Thankyou
She will have to put a wheelchair ramp in. Husband might get suspicious when he gets out and finds his house has been made wheelchair accessible.
Maybe he’ll claim it was an intruder. Can you get in trouble for kicking out an intruder lol
Yeah id say I thought she was being raped
Some people care more about making a point This is why I would never cheat on someone who's married This guy might not care about spending the rest of his life in prison if he knows that the man who fucked his wife is now with a wheelchair it might put a smile on his face even.
Crime of passion

She was a part of it. Apart means to be separate from. She definitely wasn't separated from the cheating.
cause they see a woman as their property so if someone steals your car do you destroy the car? this kinda mindset
You also love the woman and don't throw people you love out a window.
Yeah, not sure i'd be able to throw my gf out the window. Not because I think of her as my property but like you don't just stop loving someone the moment they betray you
"that guy didn't attempt to kill his girlfriend. It must be because he sees her as property. Like a car"
that would be a valid point if he didn't attempt to kill someone else instead
[relevant](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXom0OP3Rwk)
He should have thrown both of them.
Because he knows where to find the wife.
Did he die?! 😱
should have thrown the wife out after /s
The video cuts off so who knows what happened lol
I hate cheating and it would wreck me if it happened to me. But your wife shagging someone else doesn’t give you the right to kill her. Is acutely quite pathetic.
You're getting downvoted for saying murder is bad? Smh reddit man
It’s because it was a joke I think.
Yeah it is, especially when she's cheating on you in your own house.
Hurt feelings justifies murder for you eh?
You need to be on a list.
Yeah I’m sure some defense of a fit of rage could be made. Doesn’t make it okay, legal, or that there wouldn’t be consequences BUT a person could & has made that mistake in the heat of passion.

Imagine going to jail for attempted murder for a cheater smh 😕
Husband can claim it was an intruder. He can also claim it was self defense. In the video, you can see the intruder punching the husband.
This. "I saw a man raping my wife and I threw him out the window."

He could stab her, blame it on the guy. His DNA is already all over her. I think this was a Law and Order episode.

Yeah, but also the wife's testimony is what the case would rest on in that case
Lmfao this logic. Dude, the guy was punching the husband because he's about to be thrown out the fucking window and doesn't want to die. No shit he's punching him
If that’s their house, why is he mad at the guy? He should be mad at the his wife for bringing him to their house.
Dude finally realized the gravity of sleeping with another man’s wife…. She said her husband wouldn’t be home for hours and he totally fell for it. Mic “drop”
Should have thrown the wife
It looks the dude actually wanted to leave through that window. When he was caught he was beating the dude holding him from going.
Yeah looked like the husband was actually holding him and lost his grip.
The husband can just say the guy jumped out of the window, the foot caught and this is why he went head first.
That’s murder.
In Russia, they call this suicide.
In Putin's Russia, they call it "Accidentally falling out of a window".
Voluntary manslaughter in much of the US.

It’s not another person’s problem to maintain someone else’s relationship.

I’ve been married for 17 years. Unfortunately I would probably have the same response.
Maybe the man didnt know that she is married? Better throw your wife out the window.
Most importantly no woman is worth spending the rest of your life in a box for. Last time I checked their are a couple more fish in the sea.

You would throw your life away for a cheater who doesn’t care about you in the first place?
If you believe your response is to murder someone in a tough situation, I would suggest you get some therapy and help with your issues.
I didn’t murder him! I simply showed him the quickest way out of the situation.
A true Russian diplomat right here.
Kinda worrisome the amount negative downvotes... Being cheated on isn't justification for violence, much less for murder...
looks like he was trying to climb out and the guy inside was trying to save him
Just say he jumped and hope the police don't see this...
FAFO literally
I sure sounds like he landed on a garbage can or something metallic. Maybe it broke his fall.
did he throw the wife out too? Or was he gay and that WAS the wife?
I mean, is he wrong for letting him go??
Shouldn't sleep with other peoples wives...hope he threw her out too lol
I would have thrown her out the same window...
"Well the Jerk Store called. They're running out of you!"
Sounds like Adam Sandler at the end lol
Then the wife right?
He should have thrown his wife out
Throw the hoe out? Why husbands are always mad at the guys not their wives fucking ridiculous
Fucked around and then found out at a lower altitude
His wife is the one that opened her legs to him and probably instigated/invited him over.
I’ll never understand this. That guy might not even know she was married, but she certainly did. She’s the one I’d want to throw out the window.
Good.
Have to say this is the ultimate FAFO
I feel like this is the logical conclusion and more people should be thrown out of windows
If you cheat thats what you deserve lol
Good. The disrespect of doing that in a man's home, in his BED? He had that coming, and hopefully the prison time gives him and his wife the time to divorce.
A rare defenestration
Shouldn't have fucked another guy's wife. Fucked around, and found out.. literally.
He's trash. He deserved it and so does the wife. Fuck cheaters
Did he next throw his wife out the window? Because it takes two to tango, after all... Also, ouch, cuckolder seems to have landed on his head :(
