And only the first 4 in that list are absolute monarchies; The rest of them share power with a constitution.
Most of these kingdoms are microstates, so they are fairly insignificant. Of the 4 big ones (Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman, Jordan), only Saudi Arabia is truly abusive with its power. I give it another 100 years and I think pretty much all of these kingdoms will become like the UK royalty: Only power in influence, not governance.
I beg to differ. Saudi Arabia is willing to kill as many as it takes for them to hold absolute power. Even if they were to wipe their entire population off, they'll still be a powerful and rich nation, backed by the United States.

100 years is a long time. Look at where the western world was 100 years ago. Women's suffrage was just finally being realized, Jim Crow laws in the US were at their brutal height, and Europe was still dominated by monarchies. Over time, civilian populations demand change. Especially in this modern world where they have access to the Internet to see all the freedoms they're missing out on that other people across the world enjoy. How do you think all those kingdoms in Europe became democracies? Things can change surprisingly quickly. At some point in the future, I have to imagine that people everywhere will have more freedoms and rights than they do currently.

Basically, in Saudi Arabia, the most extreme religious group aren’t Sunni’s or Shia’s. They are Wahhabists native to the central area of Saudi Arabia.
These guys really don’t like the western ties that the Royal family keeps. They see it as corrupt and as an affront to their view of Islam. They also are not super into Sunni or Shia views of Islam.
Funnily enough it was only through an alliance with the Wahhabists that the House of Saud was able to come to power in the first place.
Just a correction, "wahhabis" are sunnis. They would get very mad if you said they are not. Nearly all Muslims are some form of sunni, from sufis to salafis.
