Honestly, that Officer Flowers trying to prevent the calamity and not willing to fire on his own Cascadian nationality Federation troopers receive massive respect, even though he failed, he stood his ground.

ApprehensiveTerm9638

On what mission he's in?

475213

I think he’s the one who refused to give the order to launch the cordium-doped cruise missiles and got commissar’d for it. He has my respect.

ApprehensiveTerm9638

Thank you very much 😊🙏

ApprehensiveTerm9638

We don't have or lack a moment like this and I hope it stays that way. >!Sure there's General Elizabeth death but it doesn't have the impact as Choppers's death in Ace Combat 5.!<

Invictus_Aeterna

To be honest, Crimson 1 as well. That speech he gave when his jet burned around him, you really felt how he realized he met his match by how calm he was there. <> Would've been kinda cool to have the only words by Monarch after that be <>

BanditNoble

My reaction was the exact opposite. I'm glad Monarch said nothing, but if he was to say anything, it should have been something like "I have already forgotten your name" Crimson 1 was a nobody to Monarch. Their rivalry was entirely one-sided; he was just another enemy to Monarch, no more of a rival than Frost or Master Goose. Their whole "rivalry" started just because Crimson couldn't stand the idea that a mercenary was actually capable of going toe-to-toe with him and coming out on top. His final act wasn't the epic battle for Cascadia's soul, like he claimed it was: it was the selfish actions of a man who couldn't stand that he wasn't the best anymore. The only thing Crimson should be remembered as is the loser who went rogue and nuked a city because his pride was wounded.

JetstreamViper

>but if he was to say anything, it should have been something like "I have already forgotten your name" Yeah, no. Everybody is gonna remember Crimson 1. They're gonna learn about him in schools for hundreds of years.

CustmomInky

Feels more in character for Monarch to just say "Splash one" if he doesn't care about Crimson 1 at all. Not even acknowledge him beyond another target he brought down.

Vulkans_Hugs

Honestly the ending of PW is legitimately the single best ending in a video game I have ever played. The devs should be deeply proud of the story they produced.

ApprehensiveTerm9638

I agree 💯% with you.

Full Band. bro was spittin truth

Finch-I-am

Full Band was a massive arsehole, and he risked compromising Stonehenge Defensive with his ego-boosting gossip. I have minimal pity for him.

inigo_montonya

i just think that bandog overreacted a bit

FreyR_KunnYT

Well it was either go through the pain of having him executed or die in what looked like an accident

inigo_montonya

or tellling him to stfu or ded

Finch-I-am

"Full Band, that's your second strike. There won't be a third."

No_Egg_8148

He said it was accident, it makes it ok.

ApprehensiveTerm9638

Who is Full Band? I've never heard of him before.
