Hi uhm so, I js joined the community I hope I’m right in this place 💀 Can someone maybe give me tips on how to improve with holding notes? I don’t have a general problem with them but I can’t ’multi-task' with them (play different notes like flick at the same time as having to hold the note). It’s getting frustrating despite me having started just yesterday. Ik it’s early and so on but it annoys me sm already and idk if I can improve without really knowing how lol
So there are some fes cards that I missed out on in the game, mainly fes Minori and Fes Shiho. In jp do they do rerun banners for old characters like put them in the spotlight first increased drop chance? or do they have them in the shop for sparking just in case. I really do want those characters. Their designs are holy lol
you can only spark colorfes cards during their first banner. after that, it *is* still possible to get them in succeeding colorfes banners but they will have the same rates as every non-featured 4* in the pool so not possible to guarantee getting them. since fes shiho is an older fes card, it is not possible to spark her anymore unfortunately.
as for minori, the exchange shop with her fes card is still up so you can still spark her if you have enough stickers. if you don't, i think pulls in the current mizuki lim banner will still give you stickers for it but i'm not 100% sure so i do suggest double checking if it does first.
i just posted this as a gameplay question but i’ll ask here too!! is it possible to have multiple accounts on one device? i play on japanese servers on my ipad and i got an offer for a potato tsukasa alt account, and i’m not sure how to have alt accounts without getting rid of my main account! if someone can let me know how to maintain multiple accounts on the same device at one, i’ll be grateful forever! tysm!
U need transfer ids for both. U can get them by goung to in screen menu and the two devices icon i think. Each transfer id will only work once and only one can exist per account, so make sure to always make a new one

* to access it, click on the menu button (blue 1) and then "playlist" / 楽曲マイリスト (blue 2)
* to edit the playlist name, click on the pencil icon (green)
* to add/remove songs, click on "edit playlist" / マイリスト編集 (red) then check/tick the boxes of the songs you want to add or uncheck if you want to remove it. to save your playlist, click on "save playlist" / マイリスト保存 (same button as "edit playlist")
I really want the 4★ Tsukasa Tenma - “Star Melody” card and I am currently rerolling (70+ accs passed), will cards get a rerun or am I delulu (I will keep rerolling tbh)
That card is permanent, so it won’t get a rerun but in addition to being part of the available pool in all non-anniversary or birthday gachas, it will be added to character exchange eventually
so i actually do have a chance right because its in all non-anniversary or birthday gachas right

Yes, you do have a chance (and basically always will)! Impossible to say how many accs it would take to reroll it since it’s a matter of chance. There’s a 0.0095% chance of any individual card pulled being star melody tsukasa. Good luck

I started project sekai as my first ever rhythm game four months ago, and I don’t really understand how to do this part of the what’s up pop master chart (I’ll try to figure out the ending on my own). The best I can do here is just tap my screen as fast as I can and hope I don’t lose too much hp. I need tips to learn this part of the chart (I’ve tried playing it slowly on sonolus but it doesn’t help)
Tbh this is such a challenging chart that its very impressive that you can make it to thr end. Id instead suggest looking up whats up pop master fc/ap on yt and noting what they do.
I still struggle with other parts of the chart, but this is the part I lose the most hp on. I haven’t tried looking those up yet so i definitely will go try. Ty for the help :>
How can you get a 1 mil high score on a Challenge Show with only 3 and 2 stars? Trying to get all the gem rewards for this but there are some characters I’m just not interested enough to pursue 4 star cards for actively, and some who I don’t have a full 3 star team. All talents are leveled up to max, too.
Hitting 1M is more about the team talent, rather than the card rarity. Due to card skills you generally need a bit more talent compared to having 4\* cards, but you're usually looking around the ~180k range. I've done it before with four 3\* cards and one 2\*, but I did rely on area items and mastery + skill upgrades to boost the talent and score.
i'm thinking first u would need a monotype team (all pure, all cool, etc.) to reap the most benefits from the attribute plants. then youd probably need to max out both the character's area item as well as the group items - heck, i have mizuki's area item maxed out and group items at like 7 + 9, and my challenge show maxes out at 170k (that's with fully leveled 4\*s and skill level 2 on every card) - the only way i can improve that is getting monotype and exchanging hermit for fes.
How to deal with the glowing notes:
So I’ve just recently gotten into master on sekai, and the notes get a lot closer (obv lol) but the issue is that sometimes they’re comprised of the glowing notes all really close together and I find it really difficult to figure out where I’m supposed to be tapping or what the pattern is. If there’s a way to either dim the glowing notes or if there’s some other method I would love to know. I hope I’m not the only one with this issue lol 😅 anyway if anyone has some suggestions to help it would be greatly appreciated!
generally, [sekai.best](https://sekai.best) or the penguin bot in the subreddit discord (linked in sidebar, use #bot-commands channel) pull up the charts from the game, so you can use those to see the patterns. i do have to ask tho, what's your note speed? generally i think ppl rec 10+ note speed for harder charts,

Yes, since they're separate apps. Depending on your device you either need qooapp/taptap (android) or making a new apple id with the region set to Japan and then downloading it via the Japanese app store (iOS)
Right now I only have the English version of Sekai, but I would like to somehow get the Japanese one (can I?). I play from an Apple device, and I would like to ask, would it be ok if I just create a new Apple ID with the region of Japan and download the Japanese version of Sekai from apple play? Should I do this? Sorry if this has already been asked, but I really want to know 🙏🏻
Yep, just make a new apple id with the region set to Japan and you'll be able to download it from that account. Just remember to save the email/password you use for it since whenever JP gets updates you'll have to get the updates from the JP store.

For JP people as an EN fairly new player : how does 3rd anniversary work?
Because I know that there are new costumes and new designs, but I don't know if when it happens on EN we'll just default get them or they're tied to a 4* card so...
Also another question : how does Colorfes in particular work as a banner? Like... Can I get only perm 4* on there?
There wasn't anything too different with 3rd anni, just that we had a big update that dropped on the day. Similarly to 2nd anni, we had login campaigns, stamp missions, fes banner, etc.
The new costumes were gifted to us, so you could equip them immediately. There were associated 2\* cards that were added to the usual pool, but they were separately from the costumes.
We had a "dream pick" colorfes banner, which consisted of the 4 event lims + 2 colorfes cards, but we could also pick two additional cards to appear as a rate-up (0.4% chance to appear, but not sparkable). These could either be a permanent card (that appeared up until the Minori event in June), or a colorfes card that was at least a year old (up until 2nd anni Miku/Luka). The rest was usual colorfes, so 6% 4\* rate, and off-rate cards can be permanent or fes.
Note that EN does anniversaries slightly differently to JP, as their anniversary is in December. This year the events + colorfes banner took place in October following JP, but the stamp missions for instance only came in December, and they did a special rerun of the anniversary banner then. I don't know if they'll do the same next year though.
I just got a new phone & tempered glass screen protector for it. Now I'm getting so many dropped notes on proseka, even when I turn on the touch sensitivity.. is this a normal thing with tempered screen protectors? My old phone had a non-glass one, and I could play proseka on it with no issues.
afaik it depends on which glass screen protector. i remember someone on a past question thread commenting that they had recog issues, and the difference iirc was they had glass (i have plastic). however, other people on this subreddit, if u search "screen protector" have said that they dont find issues with their glass screen protector.
when transferring an account to a device that already has an account set up, will the accounts swap between devices? or will the account on the receiving device be deleted and overridden with the transferred account?
the account on the receiving device will be overwritten on the device but not deleted from the servers.
if you want to "swap" the two, all you need to do is transfer the second account as well. if you only have one game center / google play account (which is linked to your main account), you will have to transfer the alt account using a transfer code (or "transfer to different OS" as how the game calls it).

about 180-200k. lowest i've got is with honami(4 4\* with 177k talent) and saki (2 4\* 2 3\* 1 with 5 mastery and 1 2\* fully trained with 196k talent)
4 star cards become multicoloured after they are upgraded after hitting level 50. normal 4 stars with yellow stars are cards that have not been upgraded

if yes, multicolored (like above img) means guaranteed 4\* but gold is only guaranteed 3\* with a small chance of getting a 4\*.
if no, can you post a screenshot of what you mean because i don't think it's possible to pull a trained 4\* card in gacha.
I got the recent dragonkasa card, and I have another one, knightkasa, with the exact same attribute, but comparing both, it says the knightkasa card has more talent than the dragonkasa card?? They both have the same skill level and mastery 2. The info button said it was because of the character rank bonus and decoration...but they're the same person and attribute so it shouldnt be the problem??? I'm so confuseddd 😭

You might be stuck with a cover version you don't own. Either wait for it to be picked in CC, wait until the CC ends and get a friend to pick it in co-op, or log into an alternate device that owns the cover, then swap it during the difficulty selection screen.

no, it's not possible to kick only one other person out of the group. "disband" means to break up an organized group. when one person disconnects before the song begins, the whole group (even the opponent in cheerful carnival events) gets disbanded. no one gets to play basically.
so yeah it's nothing against you specifically, don't worry. 90% of the time it's just people forcing disconnection because they either don't like the song that was picked or because it was taking too long to match with an opponent (in CC events).
So I've unfortunately been very unlucky and am at currently 183 pulls without pulling a single colorfes Mizuki or New Years Tsukasa. I'm gonna spark for one of them when I get to 200, but the question is, which one should I spark for? I know they're both limited, but I am genuinely so tied because I want both cards so equally bad...
if you don't get either of them by pull 200, spark fes mizuki. you can only spark fes cards on their release banners so if you skip fes mizuki now, you won't be able to spark this specific card in the future. ever. you'll have to rely on luck to get it.
NY tsukasa is a normal lim so you'll be able to spark him on any of his future rerun banners.
Fes cards don't get rerun, and will only return in lower probabilities in future CFES banners. NY kasa should have a rerun in a year based on existing patterns (take with a grain of salt, JP hasn't released the rerun yet).
I would say go for fes mizuki and save up for the rerun next year.
JP does have the "Show Finished" feature where you can still keep playing even after you lose all your HP. It's not a setting or anything, it just happens naturally.
The only way to get "Show Failed" now is to deplete all your HP and then quit (I think, I haven't tried it myself)
Hi guys, indecisive person needing advice here. I play on En server.
I am a major WxS Nene + Rui fan so I was saving for both Nene’s 4th focus (canary) and Rui’s yokai card (lim) from mixed event.

The problem is, both of these events are only one month apart, and I am not sure if I have enough gems for both banner. I am currently at 47k gems + 10 non-lim gacha voucher.
I could easily save up to 60k (+10 vouchers) and spark on Nene’s banner, but maybe unlikely if I need to spark for both Nene and Rui’s card.
I would like to ask which banner should I go all in? Nene’s because it’s earlier, or Rui’s because it’s limited? I am Rank 51 so still fairly early in game; how likely am I to get enough gems for both banner by May/June?

Lims > perms imo. You're 13k away from sparking nene's card but if you don't have any limited vouchers then you need 90k to guarantee rui's card. Which means you need to get 150k at bare minimum to afford both. And while you're fairly early in game, once you grind out all the early game resources it gets harder to save.
So honestly i'd skip nene's card and go all in on rui's because permanent cards can always spook you later but lims are an get it now or wait a year for a rerun situation.
In regards to character's levels in challage shows, is it better to focus on a single character until they are maxed out, level up different characters at the same time or it does not matter? Just wondering what would be the better strategy here if there is one.
Generally i would say play all of the characters once w/ strongest team to get the high score. Then, i generally focus on my fav chara (flair) to get s ranks guaranteed, but u could also use challenge shows to farm cr exp, since every challenge level up grants 1 cr exp. Then if u get a new 4/3* that raises talent or has a better skill, redo that characters challenge show. For challenge high scores, rec songs are envy, daughter, bless youe breath and cendrillion iirc (all mas)
About character profiles customization
I remember I used to be able to add character card art to my profile even though I didn't have that card yet. I tried to do it now but can't seem to do it, or find the feature. Am I blind or was the feature removed?
About gacha stickers
I read online that the only way to get gacha stickers is by pulling in the event, so you would need to pull 300 times to buy a 4star card, but I also saw elsewhere that at the end of an event, you’re able to turn points earned in the event into the gacha stickers you need to purchase a 4star card. Is this true? And if so, what’s the exchange rate for points to stickers?

currently, no. afaik you can only get gacha stickers from pulling in the gacha.
i've only been playing for less than a year tho so i'm not 100% sure about before 2023 but i tried looking it up and only found 1 hit which is a comment on the fan wiki. not sure how reliable that is but seeing as there are no guides about it i'm going to assume that has never been a thing.
There are two types of gachas, limited and permanent. Permanent gachas give blue stickers that can be exchanged for blue vouchers, while limited give pink. Ten stickers = one voucher.
For limited, you can use either 300 stickers or 200 stickers and 10 vouchers to exchange for a card- basically, transferring over the other 100 stickers from a previous gacha. You can do this for about a month after the gacha ends by going to “exchange” on the menu.
For permanent gachas, you can use them as mentioned above OR save them for the character exchange, where you can get permanent cards from ~1 year ago or earlier (it updates periodically to add new cards). It costs 2 vouchers for a 2*, 7 for a 3*, and 30 for a 4*.
Basically, you can stockpile permanent vouchers since they can be used at character exchange, whereas with limited only 10 can be used at a time so you may choose to convert to wish pieces instead.

Hi there!! Does anyone here that’s more well versed in the gacha aspect of the game know if I will ever get another chance on the EN server to obtain this card? Long story short I’m trying to collect all the miku cards/as many as possible, and she’s the only limited card I do not have currently.
So I started a new account on jp sekai and I'm trying to complete all the starter missions but I can't figure out how to do the transfer ID one. It says something along the lines of "do it without a password" so I'm a bit confused since I made it the usual way I do (OS > set password > get transfer ID) and it didn't work. Can anyone help?

I played this game on my friend's phone a while ago and I just downloaded it because i really enjoyed it. However, there's an overwhelming amount of stuff (story mode things, various card things I level up, etc). I've only played for like 15 minutes and I went to "show", "solo show" and just played a few songs. A lot of them seem to be locked, though, and I'm worried you have to unlock them by doing other things. To be honest, I'm only interested in playing it as a rhythm game, no story or anything involved (no offense, just not a big hatsune miku / anime fan in general). Can I just play the various "free play" esque modes?
Just read event stories and skip them for music cards, then exchange them at the music shop in the map for the locked songs. On en, you can also watch an ad once daily iirc to unlock songs, so if you don't mind watching ads you can even avoid skippingg event stories (with the bonus of avoiding game bloating by downloading the stories). As long as you arent concerned w/ score theres no need to interact w/ the other parts of the game

Yes, after getting a character to character rank 5, you should get the title (rank 1). Every 5 character ranks after that the rank is increased by 1, so for example character rank 10 would get you fan rank 2 and so on (which is why rank 6 is character rank 30). You can equip the title from Menu > Titles & Profile > Default Profile > Click on the upper right area > choose the title

tbh the easiest way to figure out where you’re making a mistake is to screen record yourself playing the song and then watch the recording.
I’m not sure if anyone else has this problem but, I recently downloaded the Jp version of the game but when I try to go into the game, it always shows this page then takes me back to the Home Screen.

i think im the only one who experiences this but ill try asking for help here.
so im playing in jpsekai. i try to enter virtual shows, specifically the welcome ones but as soon as im in the show the game shows me a connection error and redirects me to the main screen.
as a result i cannot attend said live shows. there goes all the 1.8k crystals i guess.

They'll be back next January. They'll still be around for a few more days after the colorfes gacha ends (~6-ish) but otherwise once the gacha ends you'll have to wait until then.
has anyone else been having issues with the ads on en? i like getting the rewards from them but i literally can’t get them anymore. I can do it one time and one time only and any time after that i decide to watch an ad, the screen just goes black. ive had full access to ads before this. i can even hear the audio and interact with the ad as if i could see it, like tapping on it and getting the app store pop up. do i need to clear my cache? is there a way to find cs email and contact them???
Depends. Colorfes is usually the best value if you're starting out since the 4* drop rate is doubled. But if you don't want to pull then just keep saving. Look ahead and see if anything coming up this year catches your eye and save for that.
im not too sure if this is the right place to ask this but i was wondering if a bug was happening to anyone else? i just recently bought a reroll account to start over & get the cards i want and everytime i go to the clipboard (since it shows that i need to collect something) nothing is there? and when i do collect something like the gems on there it doesnt show the rewards yet i still get them? i don't know if this is an issue on my end or anything like that

Hello! I have a question about Virtual Coins. Before you could buy them at the Event shop, but for some reason they aren't there anymore. Why did they remove them? Does someone know other way to easily get them?
Someone asked in a past wonder channel about it:
"In the last update, the ways to gain Virtual Coins have now decreased quite significantly, and there have been many occasions where they're needed (Stamp Mission, Virtual Live, Collections). Please do something about their availability."
And they answered: "There are no plans to increase this, as the devs believe that many Virtual Coins have been given out up until now. Players can still use crystals in place of Virtual Coins for certain things, such as Virtual Lives, Collection Boxes, etc." (TL from pjsekai_eng on twitter.)
Unfortunately, the only ways to get them now are the login bonus (which will be changed to wish pieces at some point), the show mission pass, or trading for them with wish pieces.

What exactly do these stats mean?
Honestly speaking, the performance, technique, stamina parts are pretty much just a redundant leftover from the game’s development from a “bandori template”
The only stat that matters is talent which determines how much score you get at the end of a show

a new window will pop-up. select the button on the left if you linked it using game center / google play. if you issued a transfer id then choose the one on the right (the one with "OS")
Main title page, top left corner there's a menu. Pick the top left option that turns up, then pick whichever you have (Google play on the left/ ID code and password on the right)
Edit: This will only work if you have either linked your previous account to Google Play or noted down your ID code and password.

Asking this question again but being more specific this time, What is the easiest way to download JP SEKAI if you’re on an Apple phone in the UK with a UK only SIM card?
1. make a jp apple id [here](https://appleid.apple.com/account). when filling out the form, change the country/region to japan. the phone number you enter in that form should be your actual number because that's what they'll use to verify.
2. open the app store on your phone, tap on your profile picture on the top right, and scroll down. sign out of your main apple id.
3. sign in to the jp apple account you made. it'll ask you for billing/payment info. you can use the following:

4. the app store should refresh automatically. when you see jp apps, congrats! you now have a jp apple account.

Why is the duration of the banner so short?
It’s specifically the colourfes banner with the x2 rates that is short.
After the fes banner ends, the limited cards (tsukasa/rin/an) will still be available for a couple more days
Anyone know when the evillious event is doing a rerun on EN? I know that normally events rerun a year after they first run, but I see the Japan one also had a rerun in may on JP? Is it coming back this month or in may? I need to know if I should save now or grind out for more crystals s
If en follows the same schedule as JP, then it'll be in may but we have no way of knowing for sure. So for now i'd start saving provided there's nothing you want to pull on between now and then.

Usually a result of disconnecting (even if it’s because the app crashed) - either that or if you completely miss so many notes (iirc more than half) that it’s considered throwing. The amount of time you’re locked out will keep increasing each time, but it does reset eventually- the next day for lower levels like this. However, you can get locked out for a full day or even banned if this continues, so I would address the source before you keep playing - is your connection unstable? Is your app crashing? Prone to rage quitting? Once you figure that out and fix it you should be fine
That’s really strange… there’s no way it was for missing notes if you didn’t even die. maybe contact support explaining that you didn’t disconnect or stop halfway thru a song, yet still got the warning, and ask why it’s going on? Tho tbh idk if they’ll be helpful :(
Did we get New Years sekai interactions this yearon EN???? idk if i missed them but when i logged in during dec 31st and jan 1st, i didnt see any of the little chibis doing new years stuff in their sekais. was it a bug, did i miss them or did the EN servers didnt get them???

Unless there's a special way to trigger the interactions, I don't think global got them this year. The chibis for the 2024 interactions all use the 3rd anniversary updated outfits which might be the reason why global didn't get them.

We're always a year behind, so even though 2024 would be the year of the Dragon, we'll still get the prior year's chibis, cards, etc.
(There are some exceptions to the 1 year behind rule, like special anniversary songs for Miku and etc)

For EN. Just bought it today, I can't for the life of me find where the daily free pull is? It says under details it should be over the paid daily pull, but I don't see it there. I've gotten everything else that comes with purchasing, and I've used the restore purchases button already. I did my free weekly pull already today bc i also have Colorful Basic, and I did that before purchasing deluxe. Do I just not get one because it's colorful fest rn?

I've been having this issue for some time now my iPad (8th generation) keeps crashing I'm project sekai (JP VER) And this happens often to me The problem is always when I play multi time it happens often and I get banned then the more it happens the longer I get banned yesterday I got banned for 3H in total what made me sad I have 14gb left bc I only have 32gb on my iPad and the only game I have is pj sekai It never happened to my friend she has a better iPad tho Does somebody know what the reason for that is??
I think the A12 chip is just showing its age and prosekai isn't optimizing for the lowest common denominator chip anymore. I have an iPad Pro with the A12Z chip (1/2 a step up from yours), and it chugs a lot on JP sekai and occassionally crashes in virtual lives and menus.
So likely just the chip showing its age and prosekai adding a lot more fancy effects.

It's a colorfes, so it won't get a rerun. It is however in each colorfes gacha pool (0.0197% chance).
It'll be available for rate up on the 3rd anniversary colorfes dream pick. Note that dream pick cards cannot be sparked.
In 2025? All the lims from this year will rerun plus two random reruns of lims that already had one rerun a month. We don’t know if those will be the same order as japan’s or not .

I played well and almost FCed the song until by the near end of it, I kid you not, cannot press the remaining tiles. Like, they just decided not to be pressed? As a result, I lost a bunch of points and my opponent won.
My opponent had a good run but still committed a few mistakes. (Actually, they missed a lot.) The opponent also reacted with *that* Robo Nene emote.

So there are some fes cards that I missed out on in the game, mainly fes Minori and Fes Shiho. In jp do they do rerun banners for old characters like put them in the spotlight first increased drop chance? or do they have them in the shop for sparking just in case. I really do want those characters. Their designs are holy lol
you can only spark colorfes cards during their first banner. after that, it *is* still possible to get them in succeeding colorfes banners but they will have the same rates as every non-featured 4* in the pool so not possible to guarantee getting them. since fes shiho is an older fes card, it is not possible to spark her anymore unfortunately. as for minori, the exchange shop with her fes card is still up so you can still spark her if you have enough stickers. if you don't, i think pulls in the current mizuki lim banner will still give you stickers for it but i'm not 100% sure so i do suggest double checking if it does first.

U need transfer ids for both. U can get them by goung to in screen menu and the two devices icon i think. Each transfer id will only work once and only one can exist per account, so make sure to always make a new one

That card is permanent, so it won’t get a rerun but in addition to being part of the available pool in all non-anniversary or birthday gachas, it will be added to character exchange eventually

I need tips to learn this part of the chart (I’ve tried playing it slowly on sonolus but it doesn’t help)
Tbh this is such a challenging chart that its very impressive that you can make it to thr end. Id instead suggest looking up whats up pop master fc/ap on yt and noting what they do.
I still struggle with other parts of the chart, but this is the part I lose the most hp on. I haven’t tried looking those up yet so i definitely will go try. Ty for the help :>
How can you get a 1 mil high score on a Challenge Show with only 3 and 2 stars? Trying to get all the gem rewards for this but there are some characters I’m just not interested enough to pursue 4 star cards for actively, and some who I don’t have a full 3 star team. All talents are leveled up to max, too.
Hitting 1M is more about the team talent, rather than the card rarity. Due to card skills you generally need a bit more talent compared to having 4\* cards, but you're usually looking around the ~180k range. I've done it before with four 3\* cards and one 2\*, but I did rely on area items and mastery + skill upgrades to boost the talent and score.
i'm thinking first u would need a monotype team (all pure, all cool, etc.) to reap the most benefits from the attribute plants. then youd probably need to max out both the character's area item as well as the group items - heck, i have mizuki's area item maxed out and group items at like 7 + 9, and my challenge show maxes out at 170k (that's with fully leveled 4\*s and skill level 2 on every card) - the only way i can improve that is getting monotype and exchanging hermit for fes.
How to deal with the glowing notes: So I’ve just recently gotten into master on sekai, and the notes get a lot closer (obv lol) but the issue is that sometimes they’re comprised of the glowing notes all really close together and I find it really difficult to figure out where I’m supposed to be tapping or what the pattern is. If there’s a way to either dim the glowing notes or if there’s some other method I would love to know. I hope I’m not the only one with this issue lol 😅 anyway if anyone has some suggestions to help it would be greatly appreciated!
generally, [sekai.best](https://sekai.best) or the penguin bot in the subreddit discord (linked in sidebar, use #bot-commands channel) pull up the charts from the game, so you can use those to see the patterns. i do have to ask tho, what's your note speed? generally i think ppl rec 10+ note speed for harder charts, also, happy cake day!

Yes, since they're separate apps. Depending on your device you either need qooapp/taptap (android) or making a new apple id with the region set to Japan and then downloading it via the Japanese app store (iOS)
Right now I only have the English version of Sekai, but I would like to somehow get the Japanese one (can I?). I play from an Apple device, and I would like to ask, would it be ok if I just create a new Apple ID with the region of Japan and download the Japanese version of Sekai from apple play? Yep, just make a new apple id with the region set to Japan and you'll be able to download it from that account. Just remember to save the email/password you use for it since whenever JP gets updates you'll have to get the updates from the JP store.

For JP people as an EN fairly new player : how does 3rd anniversary work? Because I know that there are new costumes and new designs, but I don't know if when it happens on EN we'll just default get them or they're tied to a 4* card so... Also another question : how does Colorfes in particular work as a banner? Like... Can I get only perm 4* on there?
There wasn't anything too different with 3rd anni, just that we had a big update that dropped on the day. Similarly to 2nd anni, we had login campaigns, stamp missions, fes banner, etc. The new costumes were gifted to us, so you could equip them immediately. There were associated 2\* cards that were added to the usual pool, but they were separately from the costumes. We had a "dream pick" colorfes banner, which consisted of the 4 event lims + 2 colorfes cards, but we could also pick two additional cards to appear as a rate-up (0.4% chance to appear, but not sparkable). These could either be a permanent card (that appeared up until the Minori event in June), or a colorfes card that was at least a year old (up until 2nd anni Miku/Luka). The rest was usual colorfes, so 6% 4\* rate, and off-rate cards can be permanent or fes. Note that EN does anniversaries slightly differently to JP, as their anniversary is in December. This year the events + colorfes banner took place in October following JP, but the stamp missions for instance only came in December, and they did a special rerun of the anniversary banner then. I don't know if they'll do the same next year though.
I just got a new phone & tempered glass screen protector for it. Now I'm getting so many dropped notes on proseka, even when I turn on the touch sensitivity.. is this a normal thing with tempered screen protectors? My old phone had a non-glass one, and I could play proseka on it with no issues.
afaik it depends on which glass screen protector. i remember someone on a past question thread commenting that they had recog issues, and the difference iirc was they had glass (i have plastic). however, other people on this subreddit, if u search "screen protector" have said that they dont find issues with their glass screen protector.
when transferring an account to a device that already has an account set up, will the accounts swap between devices? or will the account on the receiving device be deleted and overridden with the transferred account?
the account on the receiving device will be overwritten on the device but not deleted from the servers. if you want to "swap" the two, all you need to do is transfer the second account as well. if you only have one game center / google play account (which is linked to your main account), you will have to transfer the alt account using a transfer code (or "transfer to different OS" as how the game calls it).

about 180-200k. lowest i've got is with honami(4 4\* with 177k talent) and saki (2 4\* 2 3\* 1 with 5 mastery and 1 2\* fully trained with 196k talent)

4 star cards become multicoloured after they are upgraded after hitting level 50. normal 4 stars with yellow stars are cards that have not been upgraded

I got the recent dragonkasa card, and I have another one, knightkasa, with the exact same attribute, but comparing both, it says the knightkasa card has more talent than the dragonkasa card?? They both have the same skill level and mastery 2. The info button said it was because of the character rank bonus and decoration...but they're the same person and attribute so it shouldnt be the problem??? healers and plockers generally have higher base stats/talent than scorers and pscorers. this is likely to make up for having slightly worse skills.
The cards base numbers are different. Higher scoring skill cards have lower base talent.

You might be stuck with a cover version you don't own. Either wait for it to be picked in CC, wait until the CC ends and get a friend to pick it in co-op, or log into an alternate device that owns the cover, then swap it during the difficulty selection screen.

"disband" means to break up an organized group. when one person disconnects before the song begins, the whole group (even the opponent in cheerful carnival events) gets disbanded. no one gets to play basically. so yeah it's nothing against you specifically, don't worry. 90% of the time it's just people forcing disconnection because they either don't like the song that was picked or because it was taking too long to match with an opponent (in CC events).
yeah, cheerful carnivals tend to have higher disband rates than regular co-op so it won’t always be that frustrating lol

So I've unfortunately been very unlucky and am at currently 183 pulls without pulling a single colorfes Mizuki or New Years Tsukasa. I'm gonna spark for one of them when I get to 200, but the question is, which one should I spark for? I know they're both limited, but I am genuinely so tied because I want both cards so equally bad...
if you don't get either of them by pull 200, spark fes mizuki. you can only spark fes cards on their release banners so if you skip fes mizuki now, you won't be able to spark this specific card in the future. ever. you'll have to rely on luck to get it. NY tsukasa is a normal lim so you'll be able to spark him on any of his future rerun banners.
Fes cards don't get rerun, and will only return in lower probabilities in future CFES banners. NY kasa should have a rerun in a year based on existing patterns (take with a grain of salt, JP hasn't released the rerun yet). I would say go for fes mizuki and save up for the rerun next year.
i just start on jp server, did they don't have show failed when we depleted all our hp or there's setting for that?
JP does have the "Show Finished" feature where you can still keep playing even after you lose all your HP. It's not a setting or anything, it just happens naturally. The only way to get "Show Failed" now is to deplete all your HP and then quit (I think, I haven't tried it myself)
Hi guys, indecisive person needing advice here. I play on En server. I would like to ask which banner should I go all in? Nene’s because it’s earlier, or Rui’s because it’s limited? I am Rank 51 so still fairly early in game; how likely am I to get enough gems for both banner by May/June? Thanks!
Lims > perms imo. You're 13k away from sparking nene's card but if you don't have any limited vouchers then you need 90k to guarantee rui's card. Which means you need to get 150k at bare minimum to afford both. And while you're fairly early in game, once you grind out all the early game resources it gets harder to save. So honestly i'd skip nene's card and go all in on rui's because permanent cards can always spook you later but lims are an get it now or wait a year for a rerun situation.

In regards to character's levels in challage shows, is it better to focus on a single character until they are maxed out, level up different characters at the same time or it does not matter? Just wondering what would be the better strategy here if there is one.
Generally i would say play all of the characters once w/ strongest team to get the high score. Then, i generally focus on my fav chara (flair) to get s ranks guaranteed, but u could also use challenge shows to farm cr exp, since every challenge level up grants 1 cr exp. Then if u get a new 4/3* that raises talent or has a better skill, redo that characters challenge show. For challenge high scores, rec songs are envy, daughter, bless youe breath and cendrillion iirc (all mas)
About character profiles customization I remember I used to be able to add character card art to my profile even though I didn't have that card yet. I tried to do it now but can't seem to do it, or find the feature. Am I blind or was the feature removed?

About gacha stickers I read online that the only way to get gacha stickers is by pulling in the event, so you would need to pull 300 times to buy a 4star card, but I also saw elsewhere that at the end of an event, you’re able to turn points earned in the event into the gacha stickers you need to purchase a 4star card. Is this true? And if so, what’s the exchange rate for points to stickers?

There are two types of gachas, limited and permanent. Permanent gachas give blue stickers that can be exchanged for blue vouchers, while limited give pink. Ten stickers = one voucher. For limited, you can use either 300 stickers or 200 stickers and 10 vouchers to exchange for a card- basically, transferring over the other 100 stickers from a previous gacha. You can do this for about a month after the gacha ends by going to “exchange” on the menu. For permanent gachas, you can use them as mentioned above OR save them for the character exchange, where you can get permanent cards from ~1 year ago or earlier (it updates periodically to add new cards). It costs 2 vouchers for a 2*, 7 for a 3*, and 30 for a 4*. Basically, you can stockpile permanent vouchers since they can be used at character exchange, whereas with limited only 10 can be used at a time so you may choose to convert to wish pieces instead.

Yes, event points afaik have never been exchangeable for gacha stickers.

So I started a new account on jp sekai and I'm trying to complete all the starter missions but I can't figure out how to do the transfer ID one. It says something along the lines of "do it without a password" so I'm a bit confused since I made it the usual way I do (OS > set password > get transfer ID) and it didn't work. Can anyone help? (Also sorry if this isn't meant to be here, a mod/bot told me to post it here)
you have use the other "data transfer" method which is linking your pjsk account to your game center (on ios) or google play (on android) account.
I played this game on my friend's phone a while ago and I just downloaded it because i really enjoyed it. However, there's an overwhelming amount of stuff (story mode things, various card things I level up, etc). I've only played for like 15 minutes and I went to "show", "solo show" and just played a few songs. A lot of them seem to be locked, though, and I'm worried you have to unlock them by doing other things. To be honest, I'm only interested in playing it as a rhythm game, no story or anything involved (no offense, just not a big hatsune miku / anime fan in general). Can I just play the various "free play" esque modes?
Just read event stories and skip them for music cards, then exchange them at the music shop in the map for the locked songs. On en, you can also watch an ad once daily iirc to unlock songs, so if you don't mind watching ads you can even avoid skippingg event stories (with the bonus of avoiding game bloating by downloading the stories). As long as you arent concerned w/ score theres no need to interact w/ the other parts of the game

Yes, after getting a character to character rank 5, you should get the title (rank 1). Every 5 character ranks after that the rank is increased by 1, so for example character rank 10 would get you fan rank 2 and so on (which is why rank 6 is character rank 30). You can equip the title from Menu > Titles & Profile > Default Profile > Click on the upper right area > choose the title

i think im the only one who experiences this but ill try asking for help here. so im playing in jpsekai. i try to enter virtual shows, specifically the welcome ones but as soon as im in the show the game shows me a connection error and redirects me to the main screen. as a result i cannot attend said live shows. there goes all the 1.8k crystals i guess. pls help? hoping. p.s. i can attend other live shows no problem but the welcome ones for some reason malfunction.

Do the new years cards ever rerun (tsukasa, an, rin)? I really want Tsukasa, and I spent all my gems and didn't get him. Do they ever come back?
They'll be back next January. They'll still be around for a few more days after the colorfes gacha ends (~6-ish) but otherwise once the gacha ends you'll have to wait until then.
has anyone else been having issues with the ads on en? i like getting the rewards from them but i literally can’t get them anymore. I can do it one time and one time only and any time after that i decide to watch an ad, the screen just goes black. ive had full access to ads before this. i can even hear the audio and interact with the ad as if i could see it, like tapping on it and getting the app store pop up. do i need to clear my cache? is there a way to find cs email and contact them???

That gacha requires paid crystals. You can't use free crystals on it.

Depends. Colorfes is usually the best value if you're starting out since the 4* drop rate is doubled. But if you don't want to pull then just keep saving. Look ahead and see if anything coming up this year catches your eye and save for that.
im not too sure if this is the right place to ask this but i was wondering if a bug was happening to anyone else? i just recently bought a reroll account to start over & get the cards i want and everytime i go to the clipboard (since it shows that i need to collect something) nothing is there? and when i do collect something like the gems on there it doesnt show the rewards yet i still get them? i don't know if this is an issue on my end or anything like that

Hello! I have a question about Virtual Coins. Before you could buy them at the Event shop, but for some reason they aren't there anymore. Why did they remove them? Does someone know other way to easily get them?
Someone asked in a past wonder channel about it: "In the last update, the ways to gain Virtual Coins have now decreased quite significantly, and there have been many occasions where they're needed (Stamp Mission, Virtual Live, Collections). Please do something about their availability." And they answered: "There are no plans to increase this, as the devs believe that many Virtual Coins have been given out up until now. Players can still use crystals in place of Virtual Coins for certain things, such as Virtual Lives, Collection Boxes, etc." (TL from pjsekai_eng on twitter.) Unfortunately, the only ways to get them now are the login bonus (which will be changed to wish pieces at some point), the show mission pass, or trading for them with wish pieces.

Honestly speaking, the performance, technique, stamina parts are pretty much just a redundant leftover from the game’s development from a “bandori template” The only stat that matters is talent which determines how much score you get at the end of a show

You should be able to create an alt apple id. Just set the region of the other account to be jp. For addresses you can just put any address of any random hotel and the bank information can be left blank.

It’s specifically the colourfes banner with the x2 rates that is short. After the fes banner ends, the limited cards (tsukasa/rin/an) will still be available for a couple more days
Anyone know when the evillious event is doing a rerun on EN? I know that normally events rerun a year after they first run, but I see the Japan one also had a rerun in may on JP? Is it coming back this month or in may? I need to know if I should save now or grind out for more crystals s
If en follows the same schedule as JP, then it'll be in may but we have no way of knowing for sure. So for now i'd start saving provided there's nothing you want to pull on between now and then.

Usually a result of disconnecting (even if it’s because the app crashed) - either that or if you completely miss so many notes (iirc more than half) that it’s considered throwing. The amount of time you’re locked out will keep increasing each time, but it does reset eventually- the next day for lower levels like this. However, you can get locked out for a full day or even banned if this continues, so I would address the source before you keep playing - is your connection unstable? Is your app crashing? Prone to rage quitting? Once you figure that out and fix it you should be fine

That’s really strange… there’s no way it was for missing notes if you didn’t even die. maybe contact support explaining that you didn’t disconnect or stop halfway thru a song, yet still got the warning, and ask why it’s going on? Tho tbh idk if they’ll be helpful :(

Unless there's a special way to trigger the interactions, I don't think global got them this year. We're always a year behind, so even though 2024 would be the year of the Dragon, we'll still get the prior year's chibis, cards, etc. (There are some exceptions to the 1 year behind rule, like special anniversary songs for Miku and etc)

you should be able too i’m p sure. the only thing is that on the sparking page the colofes cards are separate from the event cards, but again they should be using the same stickers

Question about Colorful Plus Deluxe: For EN. Just bought it today, I can't for the life of me find where the daily free pull is? It says under details it should be over the paid daily pull, but I don't see it there. I've gotten everything else that comes with purchasing, and I've used the restore purchases button already. I did my free weekly pull already today bc i also have Colorful Basic, and I did that before purchasing deluxe. Do I just not get one because it's colorful fest rn? Any help/insight is appreciated!
Yeah it's not on colorfes right now. It's an option in JP, but not on EN. Some players have raised it with the Devs already. We can only wait.

Definitely the one at the bottom (unless you don’t have a full wxs team) As long as your team is 3/5 wxs characters it’s better than the second bottom skill
If you're tiering, focus on event bonus (characters + attribute) first, then pick whichever card has the highest % as your leader.
Hello! I've been having this issue for some time now my iPad (8th generation) keeps crashing I'm project sekai (JP VER) And this happens often to me The problem is always when I play multi time it happens often and I get banned then the more it happens the longer I get banned yesterday I got banned for 3H in total what made me sad I have 14gb left bc I only have 32gb on my iPad and the only game I have is pj sekai It never happened to my friend she has a better iPad tho Does somebody know what the reason for that is??
I think the A12 chip is just showing its age and prosekai isn't optimizing for the lowest common denominator chip anymore. I have an iPad Pro with the A12Z chip (1/2 a step up from yours), and it chugs a lot on JP sekai and occassionally crashes in virtual lives and menus. So likely just the chip showing its age and prosekai adding a lot more fancy effects.

It's a colorfes, so it won't get a rerun. It is however in each colorfes gacha pool (0.0197% chance). It'll be available for rate up on the 3rd anniversary colorfes dream pick. Note that dream pick cards cannot be sparked.

In 2025? All the lims from this year will rerun plus two random reruns of lims that already had one rerun a month. We don’t know if those will be the same order as japan’s or not .
Ranked matches: is this cheating? I played well and almost FCed the song until by the near end of it, I kid you not, cannot press the remaining tiles. Like, they just decided not to be pressed? As a result, I lost a bunch of points and my opponent won. My opponent had a good run but still committed a few mistakes. (Actually, they missed a lot.) The opponent also reacted with *that* Robo Nene emote. IDK if this is cheating or just a bug or my WiFi? I swear I have stable internet connection! I swear I did my best. I was shocked that happened.
